I tend to read several books at a time. Besides my college text books, I'm currently reading novels: Hunger Games, Nickle and Dimed, Memoirs of a Teenaged Amnesiac, and Snuff. Nickle and Dimed can be a rough read. I.e. depressing. Right now I am up to White Night in the Dresden series, and I picked up a Tami Hoag crime novel, Dust to Dust. I need to switch to some smart non-fiction.

Re-Reading Glen Duncan's I, Lucifer. An ex bought me that as a gift (after she had become an ex) - said it made her think of me. Once I'd read it, I wasn't sure whether to take it as a compliment...

Currently...
Fiction: "Titus Alone" by Meryvn Peake, having read the first two "Gormenghast" books years ago and having put this one off in case it was awful by comparison. So far, it's pretty damned good, and Muzzlehatch may prove to be a better tragic character than even Fuchsia.
Non-Fiction: Ford Capri (Mk I and II) OHC Handbook. I can't drive, but you can be sure as soon as I pass that test, I'm buying a wrecked mid-70's Capri and fixing it up myself. That's become my motivation to get through the test.
For Work: "The Language Instinct" by Steven Pinker. Teaching a module on child language acquisition, so I'm sharpening up my smart-assery.

I'm currently reading "Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring". I plan on reading the other 2, and the "The Hobbit", as soon as I can find them, which they are currently in my sister's room in a box, and I don't which one (there's alot and I'm kind of nervous to go them).

I too am re-reading the unabridged version of Stephen King's "The Stand"
Last thing I read before that was "Hellfire" by Nick Tosches. Great biography of Jerry Lee Lewis that doesn't hold back on how crazy JLL's life has been. And of course, more has happened since then.

I'm re-reading Syd Fields Screenplay. I'm working on something and feeling stuck so I thought I would brush up some by reading THE screenwriting book.
