Yeah... I'm not sure Punk understands the concept of boycotts or strikes.
Actually as 88er sums up nicely, he may not quite understand the concept of protest very well either.

Props to Punk for at least trying to make sense into something that was kind of terrible.

Didn't Punk walk out of the company with the world title?
Well, I think they did it. They are making Punk a hypocrite and putting him against the thing he started. This is proof of how they ****ed up the one angle that could have changed wrestling.

"CMPunk Too many tweets from me. Misspellings abound. You CAN'T protest without showing up. I am not Gandhi. I will kick your face." Last two sentences make another good catchphrase. Seriously.

I reread the whole thing a couple of times, I kinda like it, but I think the fans still are ignored by Vince and "Creative" Ah, but Zack Ryder has merchandise, right? Speak with your wallets, mang. Believe me, I do, I have several Punk shirts dating back to SES, Bryan's shirt, the first two Nexus shirts, a Nexus armband. I go to shows when I can, believe me I speak with my wallet.

I'd like "I'm not Gandhi, I will kick your face" on a shirt.

Man, from "Voice of the voiceless" to "Man, those guys complaining are pansies". IIRC a lot of fans were voicing their dislike over John Cena for quite some time. How far did that really get them? *Ding, Ding, Ding* You two nailed it.

This is proof of how they ****ed up the one angle that could have changed wrestling. Punk's been a hypocrite most of his career. I kind've like it, as opposed to being all sincere and righteous. Remember, he fended off thirty-six armed assailants by HIMSELF. The man is fantastic!

"CMPunk Don't like HHH as COO? Punch him in the face. I did. It's wrestling, not the NBA. #fight"
He's going to get someone fired.

Punk is trying so much to salvage the little involvement he has in this storyline as possible. There's points where he isn't even making any sense, then again this whole thing seems to me nonsensical at this point, so who cares. "I'm not Ghandi. I will kick your face." Love it.

Yeah, sadly, this is pretty much Punk's "Hail Mary" attempt to stay relevant to this storyline, even though it sadly hasn't even been a LITTLE about him for a long time.

I don't think that at all.
I think they took him and Cena out on purpose to preserve the story, and that they'll get reinserted before Survivor Series. Just to switch it up and keep things fresh.

How about not showing up, and not buying merchandise, ordering PPV's or watching the product on TV. Would that work too? Given the tumbles in ratings, house show attendance, and buy rates from the past? No.

See now here's the thing about that, only one means of "sharing your voice" actually makes Punk any money. Pretty much. For all the great stuff it produces, the "Voice of the voicless" is still just a gimmick. He wants us to protest, but not in any way that might jeopardize him financially. I kind of respect that, in a weird way. It's just odd to see Punk being the "company man" a couple months after walking out on the company with the belt.
