Didn't Punk walk out of the company with the world title? Yep, for the exact same reason the wrestlers walked out on Triple H during Raw. He really comes across as an egomaniacal prick here, which I guess is fine if that's what the WWE wants. But his complaints were about ice cream bars and the wrong guys getting pushed, while the others are worried for their safety.

So now CM Punk is supporting HHH?
I'm confused.

The problem with punk is that because no one keeps him in check with his words he makes himself come off as a hypocritic.

See now here's the thing about that, only one means of "sharing your voice" actually makes Punk any money. Pretty much. For all the great stuff it produces, the "Voice of the voicless" is still just a gimmick. He wants us to protest, but not in any way that might jeopardize him financially. I kind of respect that, in a weird way. It's just odd to see Punk being the "company man" a couple months after walking out on the company with the belt. I guess that's what a face turn does for one.

"CMPunk Too many tweets from me. Misspellings abound. You CAN'T protest without showing up. I am not Gandhi. I will kick your face." Except, as a fan, yes, we absolutely CAN protest without showing up. If we don't like the direction the company's taking, why should we throw OUR money at the problem, hoping it fixes itself? He didn't say anything about paying money though. You can publicly boycott, you can mail in, you can start a movement to get the E to shape up or ship out. And not showing up at all just makes them think, "Oh well, these guys aren't here. We'll just lean on our thousands of loyal, supportive fans who actually eat this crap up." Cause remember, for every detractor humanoid, there's a thousand supportive humanoids.

Punk says to stay and fight even though he wasn't out there as the whole roster walked out on HHH? Huh?

I am still confused over last night and Punk doing this confuses me somewhat more other than the fact it seems he is basically telling us to complain to the WWE constantly now.

Punk doesn't care about anybody but himself and the ice cream bars with his face on them that people buy that make him money.
The "stay and fight" routine is pretty much "just keep watching. It'll get better, we swear!" isn't it?
Yep. CM Punk is definitely part of the inner circle now.

I didn't think last night was a walkout, it was just showing that they vote no confidence in HHH. If they were going to walkout, they wouldn't have wrestled for 2 hours before the vote. I think Punk should have been out there and after everyone else walked out they should have cut to Punk smirking and ended the show.

I think we're blurring the lines a little too much, I think this is kayfabe or the new kayfabe or whatever.

You know what's funny though? This thread proves that FAN'ers are actually better at crossing kayfabe and reality than the company itself.

Y'know, if there's a Punk/HHH moment for SD or RAW, I think I'd put a little good faith back into the storyline.

God, I just want this thing to end.
Seriously, Punk just looks like a giant Asshole hypocrite here.
It's just funny to think that the end of MITB was my favourite wrestling moment of this year (barely beating out a NOAH show I was there for) and the whole thing has gone to...this.

If he and Cena do team up, their T-Shirt should read, "Never surrender, you f***ing pussy."

The protest is a fake TV angle. He can't very well tell people to turn away from the product for real (the company would kill him), so he has to put it in a way that (Sort of?) makes sense. Problem is, the entire angle makes no logical sense. And because they've strayed so far from what should have been its natural progression, his character is left grasping at straws, trying to maintain an identity/position within the thick of this mess.
