"CMPunk Too many tweets from me. Misspellings abound. You CAN'T protest without showing up. I am not Gandhi. I will kick your face." Last two sentences make another good catchphrase. Onw of the many ways that Gandhi got change was by leading boycotts. I've seen the film a couple of times now, and at no point does Ben Kingsley knee a guy in the face. Which makes me sad.

Ben Kingsley should play Gandhi again, but this time like that guy he played in Sexy Beast.

While I somewhat agree with Punk, the question still stands: Confidence or No Confidence?

Why is everyone getting so pissed off? It's KAYFABE. For god's sake, he's verbally attacking his co-workers for a scripted walk-out.

Nice to see the backlash starting, was beginning to worry there wouldn't be one.
Here's an idea - and what I do - keep watching. Judge the angle when it's over.

Didn't Punk walk out of the company with the world title? Well, I think they did it. They are making Punk a hypocrite and putting him against the thing he started. This is proof of how they ****ed up the one angle that could have changed wrestling. Except that punik isn't a hypocrite. Punk walked out because his contract expired. Everyone who walked out Monday breached theirs. Big Difference.

Even people on strike remain under contract during the duration of the strike, until they actually quit or they're actually fired.

In kayfabe it's pretty daft of Punk to say anyway, as has been stated his coworkers didn't quit or walk out on the company, they gave a vote of no confidence and left the end of the show to prove they meant what they said. They made a stand where Triple H knows the company (in kayfabe) couldn't continue unless he does something to fix all of the problems.
It's damn fine television, Punk's just trying to inject himself back into it in some regard. I'm looking forward to next weeks Raw anyhow.

I think Punk's response was perfect. It totally fit him, his character AND the part he plays or will play in this storyline.
I am really enjoying this story and having fun following it and believing in it. Who cares if I'm being worked or not? I'm loving wrestling again.
I saw the Morrison pic. He put it on his twitter. Can't believe I forgot that!

The best part about Punk's tweet was when he said, "Don't just tweet about it."
Odd - I didn't hear you cutting this promo on Raw. Nor did I see you do anything except not show up for the vote of confidence to make your opinion known one way or the other.
So unless he actually DOES something on Raw next week.....
I'm not understanding why he wouldn't want people to use social media to get a message across. He wants us to show up to live events and make our voice heard? Sorry man, but your show only comes to my town 2x a year, if that.

And wasn't he the guy who was supposed to be the star of this angle months ago?
This angle is beyond stupid, it's now a farce of itself. If he was still around, I'd beg for them to include Leslie Nielsen.

Jerry Lawler straight up said, "I'm walking out." He did so, then the rest of the E wrestlers and personnel followed him. I don't think that was supposed to be metaphorical.

Has anyone seen that movie "election"? A school for its class president had to choose between a jock and an overachiever, and they cheer for the jock's emo sister at the assembly when she says, "You know what? Don't vote at all." I would mark so hard if a character went that route- "You know what? You're right. The product does suck. Don't watch. I don't care."
...I realize this means sabotaging the product, but it'd still be awesome to me.
