Am I the only one who thinks Yokozuna should be in the hall of fame? He was a two time tag champ , two time WWF/WWE champ and a royal rumble winner. Plus his combined regin time is longer then Flair and EG who are already in the hall of fame.
So why hasn't Yokozuna been put in yet and will he ever?

Simply put, there are plenty of others who should probably go in before him. There's no real demand for him to go in, nor is there any real reason(business-wise) for him to go in.
It wouldn't shock me if were inducted the same year Undertaker finally goes in, though. The two were close backstage and I'm guessing Taker has enough pull to decide who else goes in that year.

Plus his combined regin time is longer then Flair and EG who are already in the hall of fame. So why hasn't Yokozuna been put in yet and will he ever? 1. I've made my Opinion known on Eddie Guererro's induction MANY times. I don't think he needed to go in When/how he did. The only reason he did was (IMHO) his unfortunate demise. I DO believe he deserves to be in the HoF however, just I disagree with the circumstancs/timing of his induction. 2. Flair IS a legend. I don't agree with his decisions, but he's undeniably got a head for the business, and has been a competitor in EVERY MAJOR Companies from AWA onward. He's been a wrestler, Booker, promoter, EVERYTHING. Despite his financial problems as of late (And let's be honest....all time) EVERYONE that has even a passing interest in wrestling knows about 5 people (Andre, Warrior, Savage, Hogan, and Flair) That's pretty good company. As far as your actual query.....by all accounts HE SHOULD be inducted eventually. I however believe that an Anoa'i Family/Samoan Heritage HoF would be appropriate. I just think it'd be hard to find someone to induct him.

You can only do the early death guys so often...ideally not every year, and certainly not more than one in any year. You also have to spread guys out, because the pickings are starting to get thin (and you're not going to get 8-9 brand new retired guys every year). He'll get in eventually.

I wouldn't mind seeing Yoko go into the Hall. Before his weight became a problem, he was a great big man and moved incredibly well for someone his size.

He never really reached Koko B. Ware status.
Sorry, I wanted to be the first one to make a Koko joke.

I'm sure he'll go in someday. He's probably just not a priority induction right now.

He was a main eventer for one year and it was during one of WWE's biggest down periods. Will he go in? Sure, eventually. But he's no more of a priority than somebody like Sid.

I just think it'd be hard to find someone to induct him. When I think of Yoko, the first name that pops up is Mr Fugi

He never really reached Koko B. Ware status. Sorry, I wanted to be the first one to make a Koko joke. Yeah. When Yokozuna destroyed Koko B Ware in the first match of the first RAW ever, you could see he was nowhere near on the level of Koko. But seriously, they still haven't inducted Haystacks Calhoun, Kamala, King Kong Bundy, The One Man Gang, Bam Bam Bigelow, Earthquake and so on. Yokozuna just has to wait his turn.

The list of "New Gen" talent who have been inducted into HoF is actually pretty short, consisting of just Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and Sunny. I can think of at least three other guys from that era who deserve to go in ahead of Yoko (Taker, Nash and Hall), and a few more who were close to the same level (Owen, Bulldog, Sid).

In the post Benoit era I believe it will be a rarity to see guys who died young get inducted.

Koko Beware is in the hall of fame for some dumb reason. If you are going to throw in random lower mid carders why not 'Zuna?

He's also far more recognisable to the modern fanbase than all of those guys put together. Even though his heyday was during a time when business was in the shitter, a lot of casual fans still remember him (or at the very least have heard of him) for whatever reason.
