Even if he drops it in two weeks, I'm ecstatic for the dude.
I also loved him keeping his heel heat post match.

It's like...they have faith in someone, and they stick with them and book them accordingly, and they create memorable moments/matches. It's crazy stuff! Kudos to them for making Mark Henry look like a serious threat again. They created a very compelling story over on Smackdown, and they pre-planned this by booking ahead of time and having him destroy everyone and put people out. Despite Mark's actions, I think a lot of people felt for the guy and saw what "he had to do" to get what would likely be his final opportunity. You could hear a lot of sincerity in his voice, making his struggle seem that much more real. And it's getting over. I never thought I'd like to see Henry with the belt, but this just proves that if you book someone a certain way, and you have a legit reason to care, you can change minds. I just wish Henry would ditch the red tights and go back to wearing black.

Somebody got they ass kicked Somebody got they wig split The WORLD'S STRONGEST CHAMP IS HERE! I was ready to come in here and type essentially the same thing. So happy for Mark. Looking forward to see who can step up as a challenger to him. I still think they'll go for a 6-Pack HIAC match, though.

I hope he has a good 4 months worth of challengers to destroy, beside Orton, who else could honestly challenge and beat him. Gonna be great.

Never put anything past WWE, but I pray they don't pull a Christian on Mark's title run.

Plenty of guys to probably keep Henry champ to Mania if they wanted.

I really really hope he gets a long run too. I mean, Kane got it, and his angles were freaking turrible. Henry has been golden

I absolutely loved that ending, with Henry baring his neck at Orton, DARING him to try an RKO, and Orton does and Henry is just like "f*** you AND your RKO, bitch" and hit the World's Strongest Slam.
THAT is how you make a monster. Hell, that's how you make a star.
I can only hope Henry gets better than two weeks with it. Hell in the Cell should be an excuse for Henry to murderize Orton DEAD.

Underdog Daniel Bryan daring to challenge Henry after he destroyed five other guys in the EC would really do wonders for that potential match.

The best part about it all was that Mark wasn't suddenly a monster. First he got angry and took out the Big Show.
Then he took out Kane.
Then he out brawled Sheamus.
Finally, he steamrolled Orton.
That is how you book a monster.

I wonder if they're gonna give Henry a bigger version of the belt, like they did with the ECW belt.

They oughta him Tony Atlas show up, expecting things to be like they were on ECW. Have him tell Mark how proud he is of him etc.
Then have Mark decimate Tony Atlas.

That is how you book a monster. What's great is how Orton's past few months tie into this. Had Randy not been distracted and busy dealing with Christian all these months, he might have been able to better prepare himself for an eventual match or stop Henry earlier. But he didn't.

Best move they could've made, which is astonishing considering the Main Event.

Best move they could've made, which is astonishing considering the Main Event. It's weird how Smackdown's main story was booked so logically and great while Raw's is convoluted as all hell.
