...as a damn whistle.
Henry just said "f*** your RKO" and Slammed him for the pin. Nuts. I never thought it'd happen like that.
Orton got humbled.

Pretty sure that's the first time Orton's lost clean in seventeen months. And damn, it was perfect.

Once they did the hurt leg angle I just knew it was about time for Orton's big comeback. That was awesome how he just dominated him at the end.

That's a Vader/Sting ending folks.
It made Henry look great, and long term I think it'll help Orton too.

What was funny is that when Booker said Henry's going to be champion, I thought "Damn it they're telegraphing Orton winning". But no, Booker was just stating fact. Awesome.

Great booking, now I'll actually be interested in what Orton has to do to beat Henry.
And Henry deserved the belt, went through 15 years of ridiculous angles and went through them all full force. Congrats

No one thinks Orton is weaker because of this, Henry is a monster and should go over Orton. Now if WWE could learn this lesson and somehow craft it onto Cena/Kelly Kelly then we might be getting somewhere

Loved it. The finish was perfect. THAT is how you tell a story in a match.

Now keep it on him for a while. A short reign will not benefit anybody IMO.

God, now I really want a six month monster reign by Henry beating every big challenge (Orton rematch, Sheamus, Kane, Big Show) only to be unseated by Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania.
Probably little chance, but damn it would be awesome.

I loved it. My favorite part of the ppv. Especially his promo afterwords.

It's like...they have faith in someone, and they stick with them and book them accordingly, and they create memorable moments/matches. It's crazy stuff!
Kudos to them for making Mark Henry look like a serious threat again. They created a very compelling story over on Smackdown, and they pre-planned this by booking ahead of time and having him destroy everyone and put people out. Despite Mark's actions, I think a lot of people felt for the guy and saw what "he had to do" to get what would likely be his final opportunity. You could hear a lot of sincerity in his voice, making his struggle seem that much more real. And it's getting over. I never thought I'd like to see Henry with the belt, but this just proves that if you book someone a certain way, and you have a legit reason to care, you can change minds.
