It's weird how Smackdown's main story was booked so logically and great while Raw's is convoluted as all hell. That is because Smackdown´s creative team is better then Raw´s creative team. I dunno, at least on Raw things happen. And Raw's writers aren't responsible for the awful Christian / Orton feud.

I am happy Henry won and stunned he beat Orton in the manner he did with no shenanigans. Here's to a long eventful reign for the World's Strongest Champion.

I was shocked, and am happy for Mizark because he's raelly found his niche and is doing great. Doesn't hurt that the one time I met the man he was just an awesome dude. So good guy who I'm happy for + great character, I hope they give this time and don't just have him job to Orton on Tuesday. I will say in hindsight, I know why there was no interferance. WWE used up their budgeted number of run-ins on the main event.

God, now I really want a six month monster reign by Henry beating every big challenge (Orton rematch, Sheamus, Kane, Big Show) only to be unseated by Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania. Probably little chance, but damn it would be awesome. Henry retaining cleanly against 'Taker at Vengeance, Kane at Survivor Series, Show at TLC, Sheamus at the Rumble, and Orton/Sheamus/Kane/Cody/Barrett at EC before being dethroned by Bryan at Wrestlemania would be perfect. Even so, pitch this at this week's creative meeting and be laughed out of the room and informed that Orton is regaining the title at HiaC.

Mark winning clean was absolutely what needed to happen, but I never actually expected it to happen

I leapt off my armchair and let out a cheer when he got the pinfall. I honestly just thought Henry was gonna have the typical monster heel "destroy everyone until he reaches main eventer and lose" run. So glad he won

Just why?

I hope the writers don't screw up his reign as a champion.

I have one question to ask. Why? Just why? Two answers: Orton sucks ass. Just the right thing to do.

I wouldn't say they're always better, but they're more simplistic in their booking and last night prooved that simple is sometimes a lot better.

Raw's writers gave us Trump/Rosie, so SD wins on that alone.

I have one question to ask. Why? Just why? Also this opens the door for a Sheamus title feud now that he's face.

Raw's writers gave us Trump/Rosie, so SD wins on that alone. I strongly doubt that any of the writers (except from Steph) from that year are still writing for Raw.

I definitely don't do it...well, barely ever, but major props to the creative team on this one. I'd never, EVER wanted to see Mark Henry in a main event spot, let alone as a world champion, but this whole program has been booked perfectly so far to the point where I've really bought Mizark as a guy deserving of the spot and as one of the two company lynchpins. Of course, they have a long time to screw it up, but as for now...well done, E.

That may have been Mark Henry's best match in his whole career. Just a damn fine World title match and I loved that ending. I hope Henry gets a nice long WHC reign but even if he doesn't, it was nice to see him finally win. I can't believe I'm actually happy about a Mark Henry title run.
