What I will say for Triple-H's 210 day reign is that his matches with Jeff Hardy were excellent.

I'd like to see Punk hold it until at least SummerSlam.

You're all planning on wiping the match between Bryan and Punk from your minds, right?
Since it and Punk's reign have been totally meaningless and all...

Yes, a random match with no type of build up will save his empty 200 day reign. Pretty much. It was a great match, and you know what? So what? I had no reason to be emotionally invested in that match, because WWE never gave me one.

It's the overall package. And the overall package of punk vs bryan meant virtually nothing. Alot of his reign hasnt meant anything. I think alot of people are going to forget the majority of this reign.

Wow! I'm now convinced that some of you will never be satisfied with anything in WWE

I had no reason to be emotionally invested in that match, because WWE never gave me one. If you're not able to get emotionally invested in a match over the WWE Championship without WWE telling you so, especially with two high-caliber talents, than I don't know what to tell you. Wow! I'm now convinced that some of you will never be satisfied with anything in WWE Yeah, that works. What he said. Some of you will never be satisfied, ever.

I think people don't really like this reign because:
A: his opponents were basically a guy WWE pushes hard and doesn't care about (Del Rio), a guy who's been on the decline this entire year (Miz), a midcarder (Ziggler), a guy who's been half assing most of this run (Jericho), and a dude's who's just finding his niche (Bryan).
and
B: He's been a total second fiddle to whatever John Cena's doing. Even that stupid shit with Kane and Ryder got more attention.
Sure he's been great matches, but somebody like Ziggler had great matches as the US Champion, and how many people actually cared?

Pretty much. The matches seem great, but you know what? This time next year, hell, this time six months from now, not one person will remember them, because there was no focus given to them to make them stand out. WWE doesn't give one hot damn about Punk as Champion, so why should the fans?

So exactly how many PPVs has he main evented (the true, last match main event) during those nearly 200 days?

It's possible to acknowledge that a match is good without being interested in it. I'm not interested in Punk/Bryan because I don't care for either of their characters. Punk's reign has been boring overall to me for this very reason.

This whole thing started out so promisingly, but now he's just another WWE babyface. Sycophantic, glad-handing, cutting "edgy" promos that consist of him calling people stupid and saying they have bad breath. It's depressing, is what it is.

I liked the match after the fact but I wasn't too excited to see it. A match being a WWE title match doesn't automatically make it mean something to me. Why am I supposed to care? Because the title is on the line? So what. It's made completely obvious that anything that Cena's doing>>>>>anything that Punk's doing with the title. It was like that with Cena/Kane, Cena/Rock, Cena/Johnny and now Cena/Big Show. Look at the Wrestlemania 28 and Extreme Rules DVD covers who's on the front? The WWE Champion CM PUNK? Nope. Punk's reign just doesn't feel important, no matter how many days he's held the belt. Good matches, okay but there's more to wrestling than that. At least to me,

When all is said and done, I won't forget this reign anyway. I've loved it. Damn right. I wish Punk fans could just be happy that one of their favorite wrestlers has had a very solid WWE title reign, rather than it being held by the same 4 people like the last few years. I'd like more focus on his reign and the title too, but he's had the belt for 6 months and had at least 6 very good-to-great title defenses (EC, Henry 2x, Ziggler, Miz/Del Rio, Bryan) in that time. The focus on Cena doesn't diminish the quality of his work, nor does WWE's lack of balls in terms of going away from Cena has the guy. Who cares if "everyone" forgets it anyway? And I don't even think they will...you don't think the announcers will talk about him as a long-reigning champion once he loses the title and moves on to something else? This has done a great job of establishing CM Punk, whether some realize it or not.

This has done a great job of establishing CM Punk, whether some realize it or not. They barely talk about him being a long reigning champion now! Just "Uh-oh, here come the PIPEBOMBS!" before he calls someone dumb or says Johnny Ace has bad breath. Once he loses the belt, the announces will flat f*** forget he had it, bet cash money.
