Also while I'm pondering this, El Santo, the biggest name in Mexican wrestling history and huge crossover star (starred in lead roles in his own films and tv shows... while still wearing his mask)

I know people will freak out...But, Jeff Hardy. He brought overall risk taking to mainstream fans (the ones who didn't watch ECW and stuff). He also managed to star in some of the best matches in WWE history. Yeah, I'd agree with that.

The Rock - charisma, mainstream popularity, comedy, and was the other half of Attitude (along with Steve Austin). One of the all time legends...up there with Hogan, Flair, Hart, etc.
Chyna - Love her or hate her, she was a 'first' of her kind and threw new light on wrestling women and "divas"
DX - Should be entered as a whole. Nobody gave more to WWF Attitude than these guys.

Also, Jim Johnston, the music composer. He has created the soundtrack to wrestling. Everything from 'Real American' to 'I Walk Alone'.
Try imagining Kurt Angle's entrance without his music. What would Evolution have been without Motorhead? What if Ultimate Warrior had been given some Snitksy-style generic music?
Johnston deserves his place...he can make or break a wrestler simply with their theme music.

The Rock is easily more influential than most of the names I see but I won't laugh yet. He's a guy the WWE is doing everything in their power to mold young stars like Cena, Orton, Kennedy, and Carlito after with certain changes in their promo work. Video games, Smackdown, and PPVs haved been named after Rock. And more importantly..he's the most recognizable pro wrestling entity in the world today.
