I just knew they'd end the mid-season on a holy shit moment, and that was probably the biggest one yet.
F*** now we have to wait until next summer! AAAAAAGH!

Damn it! I don't want to wait until next summer to see the ending! Especially with Hank just finding out.

IDK, it wasn't bad but I was just expecting...more. Like, Walt just quitting and Hank reading something in a book and figuring it out from THAT is just lame to me.

We have to wait a f***ing year. Oh well, at least there's more BB to look forward to. That won't be the case this time next year.

OF COURSE he would keep a gift from a guy he ordered to be killed, why wouldn't he? He'd be stupid not to keep it! Especially after that conversation where Hank LITERALLY said "what is W.W.? Could it be Walter White? HARF HARF HARF"
honestly, that was pretty dumb. Good episode otherwise though. Although I can't figure out Lydia's angle. I wonder what's going on with her.

OOOHHH WAIT I completely misunderstood the ending. I thought they were at Hank's house and he saw what he had already seen before. I didn't realize he found Walt's actual book from Gale. OK.
Yeah. HOLY SHIT.

I thought it was perfect because it made Hank realize how foolish he was to have missed it the first time. Hank remembering back to that moment with Walt, with Walt jokingly putting his hands up while saying "You got me.", before the look of total and utter shock on Hank's face upon discovery, was beautifully done. Could the reveal have been more "epic"? Sure, it could have, but IMO, it didn't need to. Sometimes simple is better, and I couldn't have asked for a better way.

Upon my realization that it was Walt's book he found it makes it way better. I missed that part.

You know that you are watching a great show when something like a family sitting around a table chatting can seem terrifying. I knew something was about to happen and was really nervous there at the end.
I thought something might happen like Lydia had sent a hitman and was going to shoot Hank when he went inside the house, or the baby was going to fall in the pool, something. Things were just too nice.

Lydia gets to stay out of trouble. And it's because he overlooked it, as careful as he was he still makes tiny stupid mistakes that he didn't think would ever make a difference. It's perfect, because stupid mistakes is how people usually go down.
