Coach Pete Carroll said Sunday that Matt Flynn and Tarvaris Jackson will compete for the Seahawks' quarterback job in training camp.

Seattle made a BRILLIANT move by getting Matt Flynn. Now hopefully, as stated, they get him some major targets.

I like the signing for the Seahawks its enough to help but not enough to be take them out of the running for any good young quarterbacks who may fall to them in the draft this year or the next.

All I have to say to Carolina..........where is the better defense we were promised. On other teams. If the first 4 draft picks we make aren't on the defensive side of the ball, I am going to rage.

I know..........it really pisses me off since the reason we lost many of the games we lost was because we could not stop the other team's offense.

Back to the Colin Kapernick discussion, the 49ers were pumped to land him in the draft last year. He's more mobile than Smith, just had to take him from a pistol QB to a under-center guy. It sounds like what they tried to do with Smith when they took him out of the Utah/Meyer spread system. It gives them more time and a guy I think the 49ers are really confident with.

Seattle sure has a way with signing Green Bay understudy quarterbacks. Isn't that right, Mr. Hasselbeck? "We want the ball, we're going to score!"

ESPN just announced that Manning told his agent to start negotiations with Denver. It would have been a nice thing to have used some of that cap space to have signed a couple of those WRs that have already been snapped up. What other WRs that are worth a damn are still available?

Hoo boy. This should be fun. Tebow fans are gonna be pissed. Also, LOL@San Fran, who now has to go find a QB

Who the blue f*** would willingly want to play for John Fox? Manning excels at being able to call the shots while the puppet coach stands by

Decker and Thomas are high 3/low 2 level guys that should be a lot better with Manning working with and throwing to them if he is healthy but, yeah, this is one of the reasons this is a dumb move on both parts. ESPN just announced that Manning told his agent to start negotiations with Denver. Manning is a 2-year guy at best, and the rest of that team is not a championship-level team. Makes no sense to me.
