I am.
I think with 4 solid vets who don't rely on just jumping off the ladder we're bound to get something a little different than the usual standard ladder spots.
Plus there's the other MITB match for that. All I know is before this match even happens its 'different' from the standard ones. I might be able to actually remember this one.

I am because like you said, the other MITB will be for the acrobatics and for a new guy (well, newer) to win it.
These are 4 really smart guys. They're going to put together a GREAT match.

Let the other match be the one where 1 guy slowly climbs up a turnbuckle/ladder while the other 5 wait for him to fall on them.

I am for the reasons you said. I'm tired of watching Kofi, Christian, and Dolph fall off ladders. Time for something different.

Yup. It's very different with 4 guys that know how to makes things epic in some fashion.

4 guys that shouldn't be in a MITB. Former champions defeats the purpose. Plus only 4? None of these guys need it at all.

I like that it's setting up the two MitB matches as distinct from one another.
That said, when you're doing a four man ladder match, having two of the guys be Big Show and Kane is... odd, to say the least.

Well, it's not exactly a cast of characters that can really do high spots, so they'll definitely have to cook up something unique between the four of them, I'll give them that, unless more people get added to it. But I don't think there's any other former -WWE- champions on the roster since Trips'll be busy, unless you want to stick Crazy ECW Bandana McMahon in there.

Can it carry the stipulation that all four of them are fired afterward? Because then I'd look forward to it.
It might deliver but... Eh, I'm doubtful. Big Show is awful, Kane has been putting on some decent work lately but he and Cena have no chemistry whatsoever, and Jericho... Well, if anyone's delivering in this match he is, but that might not be enough to save it. I can really see it going either way, though I don't want any of these four guys anywhere near the title.

The only 'purpose' is to create a story. The "New guy wins and cashes in" is only done because they lack creativity most of the time.

Just because it's different doesn't mean it's going to be good.
I'd rather they just turn it into an ordinary fatal 4 way match, as most of these guys involved have no business even trying to climb a ladder.

It saves us from another newcomer winning the belt by laying on top of a downed opponent (followed by people wondering why his run became a failure soon afterwards). So yes.

Right now, you have three guys nearing retirement - two of which have retired before - and one who is a moment's away from his career ending due to his twice-broken neck, and the roster is the most lacking in star power it's been in years. This is the time to elevate new people and WWE can't be assed to do that.

I really like the fact that you can actually see all these people winning, which is something the original Money in the Bank match has over all the others. Makes for a more exciting match than seeing no name jobbers who nobody thinks will win. Can't say that this match excites me, but I'm not really going to complain either.

I like the concept, but I'd like to see more than four guys. Maybe you add Rey and, after a comeback angle, Swagger?

Every match has at least one and usually 3 former champs and people forget (or ignore) that Kane, Edge and Punk all won and cashed in MITB as former champs.

Whoever wins this match, they'll be the most likely to cash in and fail in quite some time.

They'll probably end up adding Miz and Mysterio in as well, to even it out. I'm not really looking forward to it, to be honest.
