Great news!
This gives WWE an excuse to re-release some of their old bio DVDs on Blu-ray w/ additional matches. Jericho's DVD set was amazing, but it could've used a few extra matches (and a new front cover).
Over/under on WWE putting an ungodly large WWF Attitude logo on the front of the upcoming Attitude DVD just because they can?

This must have just happened recently. The 1/30/1993 episode of Mania was added to Classics On Demand on Wednesday, and it's full of Todd Pettengill and others still saying "WW(mute)". On one of the Rumbles, I think, they grafted an "e" on, so Hogan says WWE. That's worse. I can mindf*** myself into thinking ir is bad audio if it is just WW...

I will only be fully satisfied when "World Wrestling Entertainment/WWE" is dead and buried and the "World Wrestling Federation/WWF" is restored. I can recognise the difference between wrestling and conservation efforts. That's here to stay. In fact, the only way that will ever change is if they get rid of the word "wrestling" completely and it becomes like "World Wide Entertainment" or EEE "Excitingly Entertaining Entertainment, Inc."

Well that's just made my original WWF DVD's of Wrestlemania 2000 and X-Seven a lot less valuable! There's still the possibility of music changes on re-releases, so there's still that. They also have to be re-released, and as apart of a new anthology doesn't count.

The fund just announced that Triple H's face must be blurred from now on. They didn't say why It would be funny if he and Stephanie got divorced one day and she made them blur HHH's face on every DVD.

Now someone like Ryder, Riley, or Bateman needs to wear this shirt in a backstage segment

So what does the second W stand for then? Nothing. It's just "WWE". They might not be doing that anymore, though, as Lilian used the full name "World Wrestling Entertainment" last week on Smackdown when she introduced Vince. Technically WWE is "World Wrestling Entertainment". The company is called "World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc.". "WWE, Inc." is just a DBA name.

Now they need to workout a deal for the words "Superstars of Wrestling", that is just as stupid editing out "of wrestling" when they mention the old tv show.
And get over the whole Chris Beniot thing. He excisted.

They used to put "World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc." on everything but now it's just "WWE, Inc." I've noticed that all the labels on the DVD discs since the beginning of 2011 have switched over to just "Copyright WWE, Inc."

Best thing to come out of this: if I have kids in the future, I won't have to give them a long, monotonous explanation about why certain things I blurred out.
"You see, there was this wildlife company called the WWF, but then they took WWE, which was known as the WWF at the time, but was a different WWF than the WWF that was about animals, to court over the rights to the WWF name. Give me five bees for a quarter, you'd say..."

I'm guessing the WWF wouldn't agree to this if the WWE was going to change their name back, that was probably even a part of the deal. The WWE just bought back some limited rights at some reasonable cost. To change the whole company name would be an entirely different negotiation, I'd imagine.
