[insert YES .gif here]
It's gonna be great to see old footage as is again. Wonder if we'll see a re-release of some DVD's to accompany the change.

...heh, wonder if it's too late for THQ to adjust WWE13 now that this has come around.
Also, I would love a re-release of WrestleMania XIV and Royal Rumbles 98 and 99. The other scratch logo era ones I have on original DVDs already.

I'm sure I won't be the only one saying this to re-released DVD's without that horrible blurred logo:

It's a step in the right direction. The retroactive editing of people saying "WWF" should also be dropped.

I will only be fully satisfied when "World Wrestling Entertainment/WWE" is dead and buried and the "World Wrestling Federation/WWF" is restored.
I can recognise the difference between wrestling and conservation efforts.

I see it this way: WWF +WCW +ECW = WWE Like a major business changing its name during a merger with another.

This must have just happened recently. The 1/30/1993 episode of Mania was added to Classics On Demand on Wednesday, and it's full of Todd Pettengill and others still saying "WW(mute)".

Too bad, I'd love a rerelease of the WWF Attitude shirt.

Besides, as another poster on this board said, to me, "WWF" and "World Wrestling Federation" represent a time and place that was special in the industry and really it should remain specific to that time and place (I hope that made sense). So in a way, this whole merger is a blessing in disguise. And now they get to have their cake and eat it too with this agreement.

I like to imagine a giant panda and Vince had been having an "I quit" match since the lawsuit up until now and the panda finally died because pandas don't live that long, causing Vince to fist pump and declare himself the winner, even though it cost him a lot of blood and made him spend ten years of his life in a cage deathmatch with a panda.
"Worth it," Vince told the press.

Personally I think it would be a shame if Vince didn't get a deal worked out for the Road to Wrestlemania XXX where they once again become the World Wrestling Federation with World Wrestling Entertainment being the parent company...or whatever they are these days. It's still WWF to a lot of people.
