the only character i ever enjoyed were the teachers. If the Glee show was based on then.great, killer show.
Now these annoying,obnoxious,bad-developed,excuse of singers(Some of then) that are the students?I cant stand then.
And yeh,as said,the creator is a spoiled jack-ass

Liked the show a lot at first. There were good singers singing good songs and being involved in (mostly) good storylines. Now, as some have said, it is just too preachy and has become less about the music than spotlighting the issue of gay bullying. Seriously, that seems to be the one issue that Glee revolves around now. Gay bullying is bad. While I think we can all agree that any bullying is bad, there's no need to be hit over the head with it repeatedly, especially to the point that the overall quality of the show suffers. Also, the storylines have become ridiculously stupid most of the time.

When I heard their version of "Don't Stop Believing" I hated the show with the white-hot passion of a 1000 suns.

I never had anything against it, wasn't my kind of thing, but I didn't resent it. Then this oh-so-LGBT-positive show revealed its true face.
They did a Rocky Horror adaptation with no mention of transvestites or transsexuals at all (That's VERY difficult to do with Rocky Horror), and they had their main character describe bisexuality as "a term that gay guys in high school use when they want to hold hands with girls and feel like a normal person for a change.”
LGBT positive? LG's all they care about.

He got PISSED about how the show treats bisexuality and "biphobia" is unfortunately a very real thing among a lot of gay/lesbian circles.

Indeed. As a member of the bisexual community (We really need a wrestler to say that in an outraged voice), it's hard to escape. I've had biphobic comments at smegging Pride festivals. And so Glee's kind of a symbol of that to me now, that progressiveness can sometimes only reach so far with some people.
It's a pity, because if they really were genuinely progressive, I'm pretty sure I could find something to like about it. For all the faults with the Rocky Horror thing, at the time I thought that they seemed to genuinely love their subject material with the accuracy in some of the songs (better than some actual Rocky casts I've heard), and that it was maybe the networks censoring them. But now I think it's more likely that they wanted to sweep stuff under the rugs.

No one on the show is likable and the show is way to heavy handed/self important with it's messages. And the creator is a dick.
Plus the singing is pretty damn bad all things considered.

I don't care much for musicals...especially those that make crappy covers of good songs every week.

I hate musicals. I hate auto-tuned pop crap. I hate shows about people in high school and their issues. There is nothing about this show that appeals to me in the slightest.

I hate Glee because it does terrible covers of good songs. The creator of the show gets all pissy when artists don't want their music on his show. It's truly bad for music in my opinion. I consider the show on the same exact level as Jersey Shore and other trash TV shows. It might be the tv show I hate most. Just dreadful. It's crappy melodrama with mediocre acting and mediocre singing.

It gives me no reason to like it.
Overly-autotuned singing. Uppity characters. High school drama. The jokes don't land with me. Characters are unrelatable.

My fiancee went through a phase where she watched this show, and it annoyed me. None of the characters, barring the dumb blonde cheerleader, are likeable, at least not consistently. Kurt isn't a character, he's a gay rights sermon wrapped in human skin(good cause, but obnoxious way to go about expounding on it), and the rest of the cast is just dumb. I forget the dumb blonde's name, but she's the only character I consistently enjoyed.

Also everyone is a vicious stereotype on a show telling people to not see people as vicious stereotypes.

Y'know, when the Glee bandwagon first started catching steam, a friend let me borrow burns of the first few episodes, I checked them out, to see what the fuss was all about. The first episode was decent, and I figured I might like the show (As I did love the Buffy musical, and stuff like Dr. Horrible), but by the 2nd or 3rd episode, it had already wore out its welcome.
I honestly think it would have been better as a movie series.....seeing a musical every week just tires out after awhile. Plus, I just hate hearing other people butcher songs that I really like.....it's why I could never get into AMERICAN IDOL/THE VOICE/ect./ect.
