I still can't think of a good reason why WWE would call the police in Georgia to check Benoit's house unless someone at WWE had a reason to believe something was pretty terribly wrong -- I'm sure lots of WWE employees have missed work due to illness in the family, and informed their employer that they weren't going to be able to make it. I'd be pretty surprised to find out that it's company policy to call the police in such a case -- which means, again, someone was worried about something more than a bad case of food poisoning or the flu. I don't think WWE contacted law enforcement until they were no longer getting responses from Benoit. He could have already killed himself by that point.

Wait... Why in the world would they call the mother of a schoolmate of Daniel over the police? Scratch that, how would they even know the mother of one of Daniel's school mate's? Benoit lived in Georgia, they're in Stamford and Texas. Do you think that they were so tuned in that they have the phone numbers of the friends of one of their wrestler's sons? How draconian would a company have to be to have that much information about a wrestler's private life?
You're definitely reading way, way, way too much into the fact that they called the police. That's the easiest explanation to make of everything. They called them because wrestlers came to them with multiple weird texts and phone conversations, and he missed two shows in the process. Then, when they tried to get a hold of him later, he didn't answer. When Matt Hardy posted up that idiotic fake suicide video, people didn't flood his neighbors with calls, they flooded the local sheriff's office with calls. That's one of the things the police are there for, to check up on people who have been acting erratically. You don't look up Benoit's address and do a white-page search for neighbors and ask them to look in on them on your behalf, you check with the people who are prepared and are paid to ensure the safety of the area to do that.
And back to the guy, even if he knew someone at WWE headquarters, what likelihood is it that he happened to know that person and that person, of all the people in the company, happened to get the information that Nancy was dead? What are the odds that they happened to be working on a Sunday night (even being a PPV night, most office people wouldn't be working)? What are the odds that they'd sit on it for 14 hours and let the gossip spread far enough to reach that guy? Are we assuming that everyone in WWE knew Nancy was dead before the police did now? That requires just as many coincidences as him living in Stamford, and doesn't have the evidence to back it up.
Again, looking at the evidence we have: - The people Benoit texted and called weren't near Stamford. - Benoit wasn't near Stamford. - There aren't records that Benoit called Stamford (not that I could find at least) - Police had to track down this idiot, costing them resources and time and leading them to consider him a huge hindrance to the investigation, yet found nothing to consider it anything other than a coincidence - This guy had to be significantly calm enough to not let out that he knew someone in the WWE and that he had been told the information, and had to do so in a way that was convincing enough to not tip the police off, all while likely being pretty damn panicky because this is suddenly pointing to him. - The guy's IP had a record of vanadalizing other wikipedia pages, including pages of other wrestlers. - Wild speculation and jokes were already floating around. - Starting rumors that people are dead aren't uncommon on the internet, and are pretty effective ways of trolling.
From what we know, "Trolling by wrestling fan with a history of trolling" is a more likely explanation than "WWE officials covering up the murder for 14 hours, but weren't tight-lipped enough to prevent this unaffiliated guy from finding out and posting it online." The only way that could ever change is if more information was released that showed Benoit did call Stamford.
Without it, I just have to file this along with other conspiracy theories, it requires selective vision of the available evidence and significant, unrealistic coverups and coincidences to work

A neighbor might notice a lack of activity around the house, mail not picked up or newspapers in the yard or the same lights being on or off. Or if Daniel didn't show up for school then someone who knew the family that way might grow worried.

That does make more sense as a question, but on that end, it's not really reasonable to expect neighbors or the school to notice something was wrong before WWE.
You don't notice when things are calm unless they're always unnaturally noisy, and by all accounts Chris was a pretty private person most of the time when he even was home. So neighbors wouldn't likely take a lack of activity as being suspicious. It's probably quiet most of the time around the house, and between Sunday night and Monday afternoon, you wouldn't expect an eruption of activity. On Monday morning, you're getting ready for work, you're gone most of the day, and by the time you get back, police are there. Just think about it. Do you really think "It's calm, I should call the police" is a logical thought?
There's just not enough time for newspapers to pile up. At most, assuming they were subscribers, it'd be the Sunday paper and Monday paper, and are you really going to call the police because you see two newspaper's in someone's yard? As for mail, there'd be none unless they didn't pick up before. There's no mail on Sunday. I think your timeline of events is way off here, they didn't go a full week without being noticed, it was about a day. That's not enough time for things to be suspiciously quiet or for things to mysteriously pile up.
As for the school, the bodies were discovered around 4 p.m. on a Monday, so at most, Daniel would have missed one day of school. At most, they might call their parents at the end of the day to inform them that Daniel was absent. Well, by that time, police had already found the bodies. You don't call the police when a kid misses school once, and I would be shocked if any school in the country would do that. Kids miss school all the time, even without the school knowing. They don't call the police every time that happens. To parents who actually noticed and teachers, he just missed a day of school and they'd ask his parents why the next time he was there. It's easy to say they should have called the police knowing what we know now, but at the time, it's very unrealistic.
People in the WWE are the most likely to notice that things were amiss before anyone else. There's nothing about that that's really amiss.

It was July and happened on a weekend, Daniel wouldn't have been in school and with Chris on the road a lot it probably wasn't unusual to have periods of inactivity, not to mention he lived in a gated area well off the road so it's not like it's easy for people to see what was happening there.

The fact that WWE called the police -- not a neighbor or parent of a school mate of the poor child victim -- tells me someone in WWE knew or had a pretty good hunch about something. Is it unreasonable that such a person might run it by a few co-workers to get their advice on what to do? Or that they might mention it to their husband or wife, who might then mention it to someone else who knows this Wiki Loser Boy? I just don't find that to be a longshot. I think Chavo Guerrero received weird texts from Chris saying "This is my physical address" and something about his dogs. And Chavo told Vince McMahon or some other WWE officials about it.

I think Chavo Guerrero received weird texts from Chris saying "This is my physical address" and something about his dogs. And Chavo told Vince McMahon or some other WWE officials about it. The dogs are in the enclosed pool area. Garage side door is open. Next message was his address that he forwarded to a few people. This message worried Chavo and he told people backstage who contacted higher ups to get the local authorities to check in on him. If anyone at WWE would have known would they have started the tribute show the way they did? A tribute show that you could see the tone of shifting as they all learned more on the spot.

I think it's clear Kevin Sullivan somehow got in the house, killed Nancy, hid a whole day without anyone finding him or her body, killed Daniel and hid for another day without anyone noticing, killed Chris and managed to concoct an elaborate method for making it look like suicide, managed to perfectly forge Chris' handwriting for the suicide note, placed bibles on the bodies, got out of the house without leaving any evidence and didn't leave a single fingerprint anywhere in the house. Therefore I conclude Sullivan clearly did it. I know all this because I read it on the internet somewhere. My point is, people want to believe there's more to tragic events than is actually true. Conspiracy theories really on coincidences, blatant lies and comically bad misinterpretation of the truth in almost all instances. Tupac is still alive because of the number 7! Elvis is still alive because...umm...he just is! Paul McCartney was dead the whole time, ignore the fact he's clearly still alive! The Ultimate Warrior died because his hair changed a bit and he looked a bit smaller! See my point? The whole wikipedia situation was just a horrible coincidence, he wasn't the son of Paul London who heard from Brian Kendrick that Gene Snitsky talked to Chavo Guerrero who had heard that Benoit was dead. Don't believe in conspiracies people, do some research for yourself and make a logical conclusion. Occam's Razor and all that. Nononononononono! The official accepted conspiracy theorists' story is that Kevin Sullivan had his Satanic Mafia subdue Benoit's dogs and break into his house at a time he knew the entire family would be home. While there, they made Chris kill his wife at gunpoint, THEN they waited a day with him, and made him strangle his own son to death in his bed at gunpoint, then they made him send the texts at gunpoint, and THEN, waited another day to make Chris hang himself AT GUNPOINT to perfectly frame him and take away any and all credibility he once had! It's hidden in plain sight you guyz! Why would anyone believe the "police" or so-called "Experts" when I can watch a Youtube video from people who've REALLY studied the case! You know, the videos posted within a week of the murder, accusing the police of botching the investigation by closing the case after a month even though the full investigation lasted OVER A YEAR?! No way Chris is a murderer. Not with that workrate. /IdiotMode So, Chris Benoit valued his life more than his wife and son to the point where he would take their lives if his was threatened?
