the Olympic stadium would be great i agree with that to an extent however as previously mentioned its been said that it will be 60,000 seater no mater who buys what or when so i cant see them using it as it will be seen as a "small" venue compared to others out there Don't forget floor tickets too. The earlier mention of those electronic boards makes me want this now, imagine and Undertaker entrance using those things.

If it's at Old Trafford expect some questionable officiating Senior Official Mark Clattenburg has screwed Wade Barrett out of his title! Why!? WHY?!

Not sure if its been mentioned but the Sun newspaper have confirmed that officials spoke with Wembley Stadium management about bringing the 2013 Summerslam event to the UK.
Please bare in mind the sun don't let the truth get in the way of a good story.

The Millennium Stadium (Cardiff) is the most versatile of all the ones mentioned as it regularly hosts non-football events. It also has a roof. No matter what, I'll be there.

But he's from nowhere near Cardiff. That would be like people claiming they're booking London so that Wade Barrett can fight in his hometown Cardiff is in Wales. He's Welsh. He's also announced as being from Cardiff.

They're only effective if everyone is sat down otherwise they get mostly blocked.

Let's just hope it's not held at Stamford Bridge or Anfield. The last thing anyone wants is for black wrestlers to be on the receiving end of racist abuse.

Olympic Stadium would be a better choice than Wembley for many reasons even at 60K capacity. It's easier to get to and get out of and would not require the shit-tons of pointless paperwork trying to get permit extensions, in addition to the in-house pixels which would enhance the entrances enormously no matter what. Besides, if they're waiting on a buyer for the venue and aren't reducing the size until they've got one, by summer 2013 that place could well remain at its London2012 capacity. Vince has options here besides New Wembley (SS '92 had been in Old Wembley.) Cardiff may have a more reliable venue for weather but audiences still think that the big PPVs must go to London. If WWE would to host a PPV regularly in the UK then, yes, Cardiff and Manchester and Birmingham and Edinburgh and Belfast and other locales can be considered as part of that. Once a generation? All roads lead to London, I'm afraid.

All roads lead to London, I'm afraid. As I stated the pixels only work if everyone is sat down for the most part or they get blocked out. One other thing is that the Olympic Park is being regenerated with a shit ton of high rise housing. So we don't know if a curfew will be implemented once the regeneration has been completed and it re-opens as the Queen Elizabeth Park.

Would that sort of soccer fan turn up to a wrestling show just because it's in their teams arena? No, that type of fan is pretty rare anyway. That was just a Man Utd fan (I assume) who took exception to the shocking accusation that a referee gave some dodgy decisions their way in a recent match (and the past few decades). As a result he bought up the fact that one Chelsea and one Liverpool player recently got banned for using racist language, oh and one fan too. In other words it won't be an issue at a WWE event.

To be fair. Suarez is from Uruguay originally anyway.

Perhaps to go in 'Guide to UK crowds' but an addition would be
'Whenever Manchester United win they cheat because it's a massive conspiracy and the referees are biased towards them and they've had 20 years of success based solely on fortunate refereeing decisions unlike my team who are BRILLIANT but because there's a massive refereeing conspiracy - we're crap'

I say this as a United fan, but we're very much the Yankees of association football. A lot of people support us, but we're never the faces.

If they do have a Summerslam again in England, and it's a success and the overseas buys increase and the domestic buyrate i steady, it'd be an interesting idea to make Summerslam the 'overseas' PPV and maybe test run it every year at a different European venue. Or the UK. That'll suit me.

I say this as a United fan, but we're very much the Yankees of association football. A lot of people support us, but we're never the faces. Indeed. I'm not a Manchester United fan AT ALL but all this petty 'they get all the decisions' irritates me so much. It's like other teams saying 'we're no good because..um...they cheat!!' Anyone who knows anything about 'association football' will know the reason why the big teams get most of the decisions are because a) they have better players b) therefore have more of the ball and in terms of penalties with the big teams it's because they're more likely to spend more time in the penalty box than everyone else. It also amuses me how people (rightly) bemoan the silent atmosphere of Old Trafford on matchdays yet as soon as the referee gives a favourable decision to the home team the outcry is "He's intimated because he's at Old Trafford!!!' - what, intimidated by this quiet atmosphere you bemoaned a few seconds earlier? As I say, not a Man United fan or a fan of any of the big clubs, but this bubble some fans live in drives me nuts.

I keep seeing people mention the 'pixels ability' of the Olympic stadium.
Those black boxes on stands that produced the pixel effects were a temporary addition and I presume they would have been removed long ago.
