At this point, just leave her alone and honor her wishes. At the end of the day, she lost her husband and the father of her children due in part to WWE's negligence. Use him in DVDs. Mention him from time to time. But if she says she doesn't want him in the Hall of Fame, leave it alone. This

Why do any of you guys want WWE to produce an Owen Hart DVD to honor him? You can find his matches and interviews on youtube and re-releases of PPVs he was on. Isn't that enough? Why release any DVD then?

Nah, not nearly enough. I'd love to see WWE produce an Owen Hart DVD, mainly for the documentary. To get some new interviews from people like Bret, Vince, Anvil, Foley, Edge, etc. Not to mention that WWE has removed a lot of matches and interviews from YouTube lately.

Well they're not going to do that without Martha's consent, and there's no way in hell she's going to agree to it. Owen Hart was an upper midcarder at best anyway, its not like he's essential to the WWE canon. Seriously, WWE shouldn't put themselves on the spot and bring up that tragic night, because there's no way you can seperate it from him.

The closest thing to an Owen dvd we'll get is Hart and Soul, though the dvd of wrestling with shadows does include the biography program on Owen as a bonus feature.

I'd buy an Owen Hart dvd for the rib stories alone.

Just out of curiosity, and maybe it has been documented and I'm not aware of it, but to all of those saying Owen "had" to do the stunt or risk being fired/buried/etc, do we 100% know it was 100% WWE's idea to do the stunt? Do we know Owen had zero creative input into the idea itself? A lot of guys come up with ideas for their character and pitch them to Vince or creative or whoever, do we know Owen had nothing to do with the ideam, for those saying he "had" to do it

Do we know Owen had zero creative input into the idea itself? A lot of guys come up with ideas for their character and pitch them to Vince or creative or whoever, do we know Owen had nothing to do with the ideam, for those saying he "had" to do it Russo says he thinks Owen accepted it and didn't speak up about the stunt because he didn't want to lose his spot. This was in comparison to previous instances only a few weeks prior when Owen told Russo he wasn't comfortable with doing certain angles, as well as a conversation the day of Over The Edge where he asked to go on before The Godfather so that people wouldn't question why The Godfather wasn't trying to kick the crap out of Owen while he got his safety harness off. Also keep in mind that the lowering from the ceiling wasn't even originally part of the show. The show was fully written it was added a few days before the show after one of the technical guys got a call from the people who assist with Sting's entrances saying they wanted to see what the WWE could to see if they'd be interested in future work.
