Hah, not quite. By usual suspects I meant the typical line up of Godfather, Roleblocker, and Goon.

I've learned that lynching inactives is at best a last resort. If there is somebody out there that isn't contributing whatsoever or contributing only to the point of not being replaced without offering any helpful info then they may as well be expelled, but only if there aren't any better options that we can all agree on.

So, I guess since this is the big thing on every day 1 I've been a part of: Inactives? I doubt we'll have a problem with that considering the guys we have in this game are usually pretty active from what I've seen but it doesn't hurt to ask. What say you guys? since it's a small game i don't think we need to focus on them since they'll most likely be replaced

True, but like I said, considering who's in this game, I don't see that being much of a problem. We'll see though.

My opinion on inactives hasn't changed: I don't like ganging up on them, without the person getting a chance to defend himself. Because we don't know anything about them, what their opinions are on who's town, who's Mafia, and if they have a big role that could help or hurt us.
If we just gang up on them without giving them a chance to defend themselves, I personally think that is unfair to the player who might have personal issues or is busy.
And yes, I know I have been an inactive myself recently. That's going to change.

That's all I've got right now, we know that there are 3 or 4 mafia and that inactives are a last resort.
I'd like to hear on what you guys think? It is day one so I think we need to put every theory and everyone's thoughts on the table for this day phase in my opinion.

It's understandable that you would be partial because we went after you in the Space Ghost mafia game and got duped badly by mafia. My attitude, as a rookie, used to be that inactives should be looked at especially hard, especially in my first game. But, after your lynching in the last game, I'm REAAALLLY weary of that now.

Don't worry about. I learned myself back at another forum that I pop up on here and there that rookie mistakes can and most likely will happen. But I'm not mad at anybody, and to be honest, I didn't realize that I was lynched, I thought I was replaced. But that's in the past now. We've got threats to the Jedi empire to take out.

FUN: Role Claim: I am a poster on FAN. Identity Claim: I am Lodi. Now I dare you all to vote for me. Serious: I'm betting on 2-3 mafia. If its 2, they have a strong role in there too. But I'd bet 3 with a godfather and two vanillas (or one with a weak role). On the town side a cop, a doctor, and some small flavor roles. I don't like inactives. (If that hasn't been made clear already. ) But in a game this small, I don't really believe we can't waste a day phase lynching an inactive purely for being inactive. If there is other evidence, sure, but not just for not posting.

I feel that, in general, not lynching has hurt town in every Mafia game I've seen. We need to come to a consensus and lynch everyday. Day one needs a lynch moreso than any other because we learn a lot from votes and non votes. Not lynching makes us repeat day one again and gives scum the advantage.

My stance got me in a lot of trouble last game but I will reiterate, I am for lynching inactives. I think it's lazy play to just wait for a replacement. Almost everyone agrees we need a day one lynch, but I haven't heard anyone give criteria based on how to get that day one lynch.
I have heard in other games people vote based on previous games, while I understand the logic of that that seems just as unfair as lynching someone who made a commitment to a game with very strict replacement rules and a small cast.
Now with that said I actually don't see inactivity being much of a problem with this cast, so I got nothing. May the force be with you all.
