So then how will they spend the 15+/- minutes they usually spend in a season showing those guys? Season four was much better than three. aforementioned smegheads from Dorne.

Still very annoyed that Arianne has been cut. I've said it before but she's pretty f***ing central to everything that happens in Dorne. Cutting her is beyond annoying.

We need more time for Daenerys to sit primarily on her left cheek instead of her right one.

I'm assuming that D&D will be consolidating her actions into one of the Sand Snakes that have been confirmed. While I'm disappointed Arianne's been cut, I'm not too concerned at this point. The stuff with Arya in Harrenhal were some of my favourite parts in ACOK and when it was changed I wasn't all that enthused. But the back-and-forth's between her and Tywin in the show were just as enjoyable and went on to become some of my favourite parts of the entire series. I suppose what I'm trying to say is, let's see how it pans out in the show before judging it. Honestly the more you view the books and the show as separate entities the more you can enjoy both for what they are.

Tywin and Arya's scenes were in my mind better than what Arya ended up doing in the books. That being said Arianne is one of my favourite characters and I love the storyline of her being next in line rather than Quentyn. Although if that means the Quentyn storyline is cancelled it might all be worth it because that storyline was absolutely dire. As you say though, I'll wait and see before I judge. Just sad one of my favourite character's won't be in the series (much like my devastation at Donal Noye not being cast last season ).

Well, if it's one of your favourite characters then, y'know what, you're well within your right to feel a little butthurt. (Please don't take that as sarcasm, as I actually mean it). That sucks that you're losing something you were looking forward to but hopefully whatever the show writers come up with will stil be good. I also really like the setup of the Martell line of succession and really, now that I think of it, it is one the main driving forces behind the plan that takes place. I suppose it could work with one of the Sand Snakes but still it loses that personal edge if it was Arianne initiating it. And yes, as good as the scene with Grenn was, it's a shame that the bad-assery that was Donal Noye never made it to our screens.

I sort of blacked out during the whole Dorne sub(if you can even call it that)plot. {Spoiler}She was extremely attractive if that's what you mean. If it's the plotline you were talking about (I love the Dorne plotline). She has a relationship with one of Myrcella's guards and she convinces him to help her abduct her. They do but are foiled by Doran and his guards. She then finds out her Dad wasn't trying to oust her for leadership, the original plan was for her to accompany Viserys to the throne when Dorne rose up with the Targs to take the throne. Now that Viserys is dead Quentyn is to win the hand of Dany (we all know how that works out) and she is to take over at Sunspear. She is happy with that and starts to defend her Dad against the Sand Snakes. I can't remember if anything else has happened (it's been like three years since I read the last Dorne chapter).

And yes, as good as the scene with Grenn was, it's a shame that the bad-assery that was Donal Noye never made it to our screens. Don't worry, I didn't take it as such. It seems insane because many don't see Arianne as that central and her role could be quite easily be replaced by one of Oberyn's numerous bastards but she is such a complex and yet relatable character that she quickly became one of my favourites. But like you say, hopefully the GoT writers have a great plan to compensate me . That was my feeling but as you have said maybe the GoT writers will pull something similar to the Tywin/Arya relationship from Season Two where we lose something great but it is replaced by something even better. I know, right? Grenn and Ser Allister's actions in the GoT version were great but Donal Noye in ASOIAF is so amazing that I remain disappointed we never saw him. He's also important in grooming Jon for what is to come this season so I am still disappointed he was cut but hey, we can't have everything we want!

Yeah I've a feeling that a lot of what they do this season will piss off book readers.
But they shouldn't be mad at the guys behind the tv show. If George Martin could actually stick to deadlines and put out a book less than once every five and a half years they wouldn't have to change much at all. Because they now have to think about ending their tv show, not adapting the end of the books, cause they are about to overtake them.

That's the first time a series trailer has hit and I haven't been that excited.
All the news of the cuts and the changes has me feeling a bit cold for this year

That's the first time a series trailer has hit and I haven't been that excited. All the news of the cuts and the changes has me feeling a bit cold for this year The more and more I've thought about the show the last few weeks the more and more I realize I just don't care. I think I just watch it "because". I've seen it since the beginning and just want to see it through. But if you were to sit a new episode of the Walking Dead on the table in front of me and a new episode of Game of Thrones I'd pick the Walking Dead a million times.

Wasn't the majority of that Cersei and the Dorne Princess being dummies, and the Ironborn stupid psychotics?
