CZW's show was pretty good. Trey Miguel and Myron Reed were announced as full time members CZW and will be a tag team (The Rascals)
Sounds like Sami got pulled from the show by TNA/LU. Sami stayed in character on twitter saying that CZW didn't check with him when they booked him, but his twitter feed is all in character anymore and his match with Janela was announced back in January

MJF is now the CZW Champ. Good move. Much love to RSP but his booking in 2017 made him winning the title suck and contributed to some shitty early booking in 2018, but MJF is the man

Someone that is supposedly in the know has been saying that this year's TOD will be the last. The intention is to continue to do an outdoor show at the farm annually, but it won't be anything similar to TOD. Take that with a grain of salt, but this guy's got connections to GCW and CZW and is usually pretty accurate.

Don't be shocked when DJ announces this at this year's TOD

DJ has said for a couple years that he may be getting rid of TOD because of how expensive it is due to state regulations but I thiml DJ has also wanted to get away from it for a while. He's a fan of Deathmatch wrestling but he has been pretty vocal on thinking it's devolved a lot

My son and I have made the drive down from RI with a bunch of friends for the past couple of tournaments. We'd planned this to be the last trip anyway because most of our friends have lost interest in it and the group has shrunk from 10 down to 4. I'm dragging my wife along this year just so she can check it out.
I think it is for the best if CZW does just step away from the deathmatch stuff. Let GCW take that ball and run with it.

If CZW moves away from the deathmatch stuff. GCW is gonna overtake them with the best deathmatch/ dream matches on the east coast. Actually GCW TOS has a great non deathmatch bout in Joey Janela vs PCO. So it's already better than TOD

We went down to Jersey for a show last year, and we really liked it. Timing hasn't worked out since. We're already discussing preliminary plans to do a big group trip for either TOS or the NGI next year.

I think it may be best for CZW to step away from the deathmatch stuff as well. Going to take a hit but I think it will help CZW long term.

Their attendance has been taking huge hits, the crowds are dead, and GCW is outdrawing them anytime they compete against each other. At this point it's not even fair

And that show (Proving Ground) was not advertised very well and was treated as a throw away show (mostly Dojo Wars guys booked). Now attendance has gone down a bit but the feeling for the CZW people is more that it's due to the move (The decison to go to Rastelli's in Sewell ended up being a nightmare). But they are back in Vorhees and they seemed to have found a decent 2nd home in Asbury Park.

That new arena in Vorhees is terrible. I'm waiting for a wrestler to get injured from the dangerous field that the ring covers over. I've been there it's kinda slippery at times

I know they have been going away from deathmatch stuff for a while now but I mean totally away from it (as in no more TOD). Leave the deathmatch stuff to GCW and focus on in-ring and storylines. I feel they can still be very successful with good booking and a good in-ring product.

I don't like DJ forcing guys to pick a side (he did that to Brandon Kirk and Vortex, Joe Gacy told DJ to eff off). I'm just hoping they can do the GCW invasion angle. (There's super bad blood between Brent and Maven, it'll probably never happen)

I know people who have said DJ doesn't care what they do, but has said that the only time he cares is if they double book themselves.

It was Giancarlo (the guy that made the awesome hype videos) who told Nick Gage to come. And I've heard otherwise from other wrestlers that DJ is making them choose a side. For whatever reason I don't know. Both companies could benefit from a healthy rivalry

I'll be at the joint show with IPW today - MJF, Matt Tremont, Joe Gacy, David Starr, Ethan Page and The Rep are the CZW names on the show, and the show also features Jimmy Havoc and Chris Brookes who have ties as well.

Last night's CZW show was a lot of fun. Lot of big names weren't there due to the IPW show, but still entertaining. Zack Wentz is now the WIRED Champ, and Jimmy Rave returned to CZW
