CZW has released a statement in regards to rumors going around (Guessing the GCW guys saying that CZW is trying to mess with them) It's the GCW fans trying to say CZW is trying something. It's more than likely weather related on the move of TOS 3. The weather isn't looking too good for this Saturday

After months of trying to convince me to check them out, my friend finally has me attending a GCW show today. Haven’t really been following ANY wresting lately, but this lineup did look better than the TOD lineup this year. Sounds like it was moved inside since the weather in Jersey isn’t looking good this weekend. Not familiar with a bunch of the wrestlers booked, or many of the guys CZW has booked lately but looking forward to it.

From what I've heard CZW wants to build back up the roster again and also the feeling was a few guys they wanted to get over didn't but they like the track they are back on. And the shows have been enjoyable. Also for Dark City The Rep will defend against the Ugly Ducklings, the Rascals, and the Gymnastys

I was there last night and it was one of the best deathmatch tournaments I've seen. No duds in terms of matches and the atmosphere was insane. Hopefully no one wears the free t shirts they were distributing for free at the parking lot

Had no idea Alex Colon was so good at getting beat up too

We were at TOD yesterday. Had a great time, and as a whole, felt the show was better than last year's. I feel like things worked out pretty smoothly given the venue change. Parking was rough, but the shuttle they ran from the pub was a great idea.

Dark City got positive reviews. Smaller crowd but very into the show.
Tremont will be fighting Dan O'Hare in July and it's being billed as Tremont's last match in CZW for awhile. Tremont is playing it off like he's pissed at Deej. But reality is he want to focus on his promotion H2O

Do DJ, Brandon Kirk, Kasey Catal, and Connor Claxton are a group going as the Office. They jumped Jimmy LLoyd. Sounds like Lloyd will be getting the DJ feud that got Tremont over initially. Looks like Mitch Vallen is also gonna get a push.
Trey Miguel ended up being double booked so he didn't make it so Myron Reed and KC Navarro got added to the match against Zach Wentz and Ace Austin.
Anthony Green was a debuting talent and he has a Joey Ryan gimmick. He actually challenged Ryan (who presumably will accept) for the CZW August show. It's being called King of Dong Style vs King Dong.
MJF was injured so he couldn't wrestle but looks like Mance Warner will be built up as his next opponent.
Emotional sendoff for Tremont. He openly acknowledged that he is cutting back to run his collectibles company and his wrestling organization H2O (plus he's opening a wrestling school). Tremont ended the night by proposing to his girlfriend.
Fun show, but another show that you can tell is a huge transition period for CZW to get newer stars over. As a fan it can be frustrating to see how Dj does it as he does tend to do this out of nowhere but he's pretty ahead of the curve in finding good talent to give exposure to.

Been awhile since we've talked CZW. So bumping for the next show Better Than Our Best. But first in sad news, DJ's dad passed away earlier this week. A lot of indy wrestlers and fans are donating to Deej's mom to help with funeral costs. DJ did leave a nice heart felt good bye on social media.
After some shows in recent months that have been less than stellar from a name value standpoint (also because of an injury to MJF) the next show looks very promising. Here is the card...
CZW World Heavyweight Championship Maxwell Jacob Friedman vs David Starr
CZW Wired Title Match Eddy Blackwater vs Jordan Oliver
The MJF Opportunity for an Opportunity Finals Match Ricky Shane Page vs Mance Warner
Swing for the Fences Home Run Derby Match Connor Claxton vs Mitch Vallen
Gary Jay vs Jake Parnell
Joe Gacy vs Desean Pratt
Jon Silver vs Drago
The Rep vs The Office (Brandon Kirke and Kit Osbourne)
BLK Out has also called out YDNB (Young Dumb and Broke) for a 6 man match.
Anthony Greene, Dan O'Hare, and THe Shook Crew will also likely be involved.
So let's do some catching up...
Zachary Wentz lost the Wired Title to Ace Austin at a Rockstar Pro Show, and then Ace lost the belt to Eddie Blackwater at DWTS. Both Ace and Wentz (and Trey Miguel) are rumored to be signing with Impact.
Jay and Parnell are a big rivaly in the midwest mostly for Zero1 USA in Illinois.
CZW has been going through a bit of a rebuild with the roster due to some external stuff (petty stuff with GCW that is on both ends, finding a new home from the Skate Zone, and commitment issues from other wrestlers) but they seem to be hitting their stride again and Deej it at his best at finding new guys to build up.

Cage of Death will be back at the Arena.
As for the show this weekend, it was very entertaining, and I recommend people checking it out. Sounds like Night of Infamy will be headlined by RSP vs Masada

Another solid show for CZW. Again for various reason 2018 was a bit of a rough year for CZW but they're slowly starting to build again. Next step Cage of Death 20 so for the line up is looking like
CZW World Title Match (In Cage) RSP vs MJF
Cage of Death Elimination Match Dan O'Hare,Mitch Vallen, Jimmy Lloyd, and Maria Manic vs The Office
CZW Wired Title Match Jordan Oliver vs KC Navarro
CZW Tag Title Match BLK OUT vs The REP
David Starr vs Mance Warner
Interested to see how the card grows, but I gotta reiterate the last couple shows should be checked out. Far from perfect and smaller crowds than CZW has been used to, but they are doing a good job of rebuilding

My apologies for the confusion but it also will be Cage of Death. The story there is that RSP tricked MJF into agreeing to a match in the Cage of Death. As for the other match The Office is supposed to be people Deej personally picked to be CZW's faces (Brandon Kirke, Connor Claxton, Kit Osborne and Kasey Catal) while Valen, O'Hare, and Lloyd represent the old CZW that Deej is trying to get away from. It's been an interesting few months CZW. You had the Beaver Boys battling each other and then Johnny Silver becoming basically the guy to take on star attractions like Drago. Alex Reynolds is now trying to take over F.E.A.R which is a group he was in with Gacy and Eddy Blackwater. CZW is also giving more guys shots Anthony Greene (The Retrosexual) has gotten over as has Mance Warner. Guys like Gary Jay and Jake Parnell from Missouri impressed 2 months in a row as has Kobe Durst. Logan James (a Michael Elgin student) seemed to impress on Saturday and seems to be on the list to be brought back and the Maine Street Posse had a presnow match and seemed to get positive responses. Again really is a time of rebuild for CZW but the shows since the summer have been good. DJ has always had a good eye for talent when things seem rough. Some of this was self inflicted after overreacting to the GCW stuff from last year, but some of it was necessary. I'm a CZW fan but neither said handled things right and I think Deej and CZW are doing what is right for them and GCW is doing what is right for them
