The thing is I think most of the dickishness on the covers gets an explanation in the actual stories.

Anyone want to save me from being lazy and digging for the answer and give me the explanations for the aforementioned covers? I'm kinda interested.
I get the Camus one. I laughed at that one.

I imagine the next line in the Lois and Superman bed scene is "Why are you still here?" Also what the hell is action Camus? Seems like a parody someone made

Seriously, these are real? I thought they were all photoshopped.

Yeah, they're all real... except for the Action Camus one.
That's a parody, notice the lack of Superman logo, and the corner picture of him labelled as "Stranger"
Also... VVVV

Supes isn't being a prick here, Lois is being shallow.

This is one of the funniest threads I've seen here in years. Well done! These are all great examples of why I love Silver Age comics.

So was Silver Age Batman as big as a douche as Silver Age Superman?

So was Silver Age Batman as big as a douche as Silver Age Superman? I like the one where Supes and Batman are holding Tommy guns forcing Jimmy and Robin to dig their own graves.
