Townie Members Roles
{Spoiler}1. Batman-“Heroic Doctor”-Town Aligned
Role: You are the Town Doctor. You are given the opportunity to protect one person every night. That is your only special role ability. You win when all non-town members are dead.
ALSO
You can never be the deciding vote for a dayphase lynching. You are Batman…Batman never kills. It is okay for you to cast votes as that would make you ineffective for voting. But being the last deciding vote for lynch will drive you insane and you will kill yourself, eliminating yourself from the game. You broke your moral code….so you look for the only way out of the hell you created….suicide.
Batman goes into Arkham Asylum to not only restore order but to also figure out who in the world started the prison break. You only allow Nightwing, Red Hood, Jim Gordon, and Harvey Bullock into the prison. You afraid a lot of people will lose their lives and the situation is extremely dangerous which explains why you don’t let your son come with you.
“Batman is the superhero protector of Gotham City, a man dressed like a bat who fights against evil and strikes terror into the hearts of criminals everywhere. In his secret identity he is Bruce Wayne, billionaire industrialist and notorious playboy. Although he has no superhuman powers, he is one of the world's smartest men and greatest fighters. His physical prowess and technical ingenuity make him an incredibly dangerous opponent.”
{Spoiler}2. Commissioner James Gordon-“Town Cop”-Town Aligned
Role: You are the Town Cop. You can investigate one player per night. You will get the response of “Scum” or “Not Scum.” You win when only Town members are remaining.
James Gordon heads into Arkham Asylum seeking to end the chaos happening inside. You also head in to make sure your psychopath son, James Gordon Jr, is okay. You hand pick Harvey Bullock to come into the prison with you as the rest of the police force wait outside.
“James Gordon is the Commissioner of the Gotham City Police Department, and one of Batman's greatest allies. He is a controversial political figure in Gotham City because of his willingness to work alongside a vigilante, but he is one of the most honest cops on the force, often struggling against corruption from within. He frequently works outside the law when necessary, although he maintains a strict unbreakable moral code.”
{Spoiler}3. Nightwing (Dick Grayson)-“Town Inventor”-Town Aligned
Role: You the Town Inventor. You didn’t help create Arkham Asylum…but you sure did put a lot of criminals in here. You have two abilities that can only be used once: You can roleblock a person once in a night phase, and you can investigate a person once during a night phase. When those abilities are gone, you are just simply a Vanilla Townie. You win when Town Members are the last alive in the game.
Nightwing comes into Arkham with Batman and Jason Todd to help restore order. Batman only trusts you and Jason as he feels you two can handle the pressure you are about to take in. He wants his son Damian away from this and Tim to patrol the streets of Gotham.
“Nightwing is a superhero legacy name associated with the planet Krypton and the Batman Family, usually working alongside a sidekick and partner named Flamebird. Originally it was an alias used by a mysterious Kryptonian figure, and later adopted by Superman and Van-Zee in the bottle city of Kandor. Later the name was adopted by the human vigilante Dick Grayson, taking it after he had graduated from the position of Batman's sidekick Robin.”
{Spoiler}4. The Joker-“Clown Prince of Crime” Townie-Town Aligned
Role: As the Joker, you have the ability to use a random ability every single night. Your desire to cause chaos and destruction makes your ability is random. You can choose to use your ability on one person every night. That ability is either: Investigate, protect, kill, or roleblock. You win when the only players remaining are Town-Aligned!
Chances are highly likely that you will be prime target throughout this event. But oddly enough, this isn’t chaos triggered by you…..will you be able to make it out alive amidst chaos that you so dearly enjoy? Or will you finally perish from a taste of your own medicine?
“The Joker is a serial killer and a super-villain, a dangerous madman who dresses like a clown and commits violent crimes. He is often recognized as Batman's greatest enemy, living in and terrorizing Gotham City, although he spends most of his time in Arkham Asylum. In addition to being a deadly and unpredictable physical combatant, with a mad man's strength, he is a brilliant and ruthless criminal mastermind. His crimes require no motivation other than his sadistic desire to show people the meaninglessness of life through pain and death, and the narcissism to see the world remade in his own image.”
{Spoiler}5. Mr. Freeze (Victor Fries)-“Stone Cold Freeze Block….stin” Townie-Town Aligned
Role: You are a Roleblocker for the townie. Being able to freeze anyone gives you an important power. You have the ability to roleblock one person every night.
Post Restriction: Make one comment on how Arkham gives you ‘the chills…’
“Mister Freeze is a super-villain enemy of Batman who fights using cold-themed weapons. Formerly a scientist working in cryogenics, he had dedicated his life to finding a cure for his wife Nora Fries' terminal illness. Following a horrible lab accident, he became dependent on sub-zero temperatures to survive and began using his experimental inventions to commit crimes in efforts to fund his research. This also requires an exo-skeleton that keeps him constantly freezing. Losing touch with humanity over time, he eventually turns into a colder and more sadistic psychopath.”
{Spoiler}7. Calender Man-“The Guy Who Only Kills on Holidays” Vanilla Townie-Town Aligned
Role: You are a vanilla townie member. You have no role abilities and you can only win when the only players left alive are Town Aligned.
You are a prisoner of Arkham Asylum. Unfortunately, it is not a holiday so you won’t be murdering anyone in this one.
Post Restriction: On Day 2, make a reference to one of your favorite holidays.
“Julian Gregory Day, better known as Calendar Man, is known for committing crimes that corresponded with holidays and significant dates. He often wears costumes to correlate with the date of the designated crime. Because his crimes are generally petty and often ridiculous in nature, he is notorious among both heroes and villains alike for being something of a joke. He has fought Batman and Robin on many occasions. Fixated on the calendar, Day often times and ties his crimes to certain holidays throughout the year. This often leads him to leaving clues by which he could be caught. Gotham City's hopes for a day off are often clouded by the knowledge that any holiday of note is likely to be shadowed by Calendar Man's presence.”

Role: You are a Vanilla Townie. You have no special abilities. You win when the only remaining players alive are Town Aligned.
You are a serial killer. That means you are an Arkham Asylum regular. You were not the cause of the prison break but you certainly took advantage of its qualities by murdering as many prison guards as you could.
“Mister Zsasz is a Gotham City serial killer who acts as a recurring villain to Batman. His body is covered in self-inflicted scars shaped like tally marks, one for every murder he's committed. Originally a business entrepreneur, after a series of deep personal tragedies he was driven to madness and became obsessed with nihilism, killing anyone he met to relieve them of the burden of their lives. Because of this he regularly resides in Arkham Asylum.”
{Spoiler}9. Bane-“The Badass” Vanilla Townie-Town Aligned
Role: You are a basic townie with no role abilities. You win when the only remaining players in the game are Town Aligned.
The prison break gives you another chance to break the Bats’ back. For some reason….there is no way out of Arkham. Who is keeping in all of Arkham’s inmates?
“Bane is a brilliant world-class fighter and tactical genius who augments his great physical strength with a steroid called venom. Raised from childhood in the Peña Duro prison on Santa Prisca, he determined that he would destroy Batman to prove himself, and succeeded by breaking the hero's back during Knightfall. Since then he has been an international crimelord, an anti-hero, a mercenary, a government agent and even a dictator.”
{Spoiler}10. The Riddler-“Riddle Me This, Riddle Me That” Friendly Neighbor-Town Aligned
Role: You are a Neighbor. Every night, you have the ability to tell one person each night that you are a townie. Use this wisely. You win when everybody Non-Town Aligned dies. Godfathers are immune, just like for normal cops.
POST Restriction: You only have to give one riddle during this game, and it can be your own or one you took of the internet.
Arkham is such a beautiful place to be, huh? You get to go out of the prison cell and embark on adventures amongst the place….but there is no way out. Can you solve the grand riddle of them all? Who is keeping in the inmates causing chaos and a blood streak?
“The Riddler is a super-villain enemy of Batman who commits crimes revolving around an obsession with riddles. His mental psychosis results from a deep inner need to prove that he's smarter and therefore better than others, which causes him to leave challenging clues behind in otherwise perfect crimes. This psychological compulsion has resulted in him being repeatedly imprisoned in Arkham Asylum. Despite this obvious flaw, he is otherwise an extremely intelligent criminal mastermind.”

“Harley Quinn is a flamboyant super-villain and an adversary of Batman usually recognized as the Joker's girlfriend, although she has had her own strong solo career. Born Harleen Quinzel, she had been working as a psychologist at Arkham Asylum where she was assigned to the Joker and fell in love with him. This led to her adopting her own costumed persona, adapting the word harlequin, to assist him escape and cause further mayhem. If you ever do figure out, there are plenty of entrepreneurial opportunities for you!
“The Penguin, one of Batman's oldest foes, is an eccentric criminal mastermind, known as much for his love of ornithology and trick umbrellas as for his already shady business dealings. Gotham City's popular Iceberg Lounge serves as Penguin's front for a number of illegal financial stature; the Penguin is a wily foe whose umbrellas conceal a variety of deadly weapons and gadgets.”
{Spoiler}15. Man-Bat-“The Man Who Likes the Literal Meaning of Batman” Vanilla Townie-Town Aligned
Role: You are a Vanilla townie. You have no special abilities. You win when all Non-Town Aligned players are dead!
“Dr. Kirk Langstrom, a scientist specializing in the study of bats, develops an extract intended to give humans the bat's sonar sense and tests the formula on himself because he was becoming deaf. While it works, it has a horrible side effect: it transforms him gradually into a hideous humanoid bat-like monster. He first clashes with Batman when he tries to steal the chemicals needed to reverse his transformation, but his control over the new animalistic instincts resulting from his bat-like state is tenuous, and Batman is forced to subdue him in order to administer the antidote. Langstrom later refines his serum, enabling him to retain his human intelligence while in bat form, and allowing himself control over his transformations.”
{Spoiler}16. Poison Ivy-“The Super-Hot, Redheaded Seductress” Vanillia Townie-Town Aligned
Role: You are a vanilla townie. You have no special abilities. You win when Non-Town Aligned players are all dead!

Now that you are back, you intend on killing not only the Batman but all of the villains in Arkham Asylum. You intend on doing something that Batman never could…..make Gotham a truly safe place. How do you intend to do that? To save lives, you must take lives….something that Batman never seems to be able to do.
How did you break in? You made a deal with the last game’s previous Godfather, Talia al Ghul. You promised her access to her son without Batman intervening. What did you get? A couple of Assassins and the technology needed to break into Arkham’s security system. You open all the cells and doors in the institution…but no one will be able to get out. When Batman arrives you will get what you want, a trapped Bat. While he is trapped, that allows Talia is able to get what she wants.
“Jason Todd, formerly a Robin who had been killed by the Joker, took the name following his resurrection. He developed it into an anti-hero persona which he used to murder criminals indiscriminately. The actual hood itself is not really a hood, but a high-tech helmet with a computer inside”

James is the son of the Commissioner James Gordon.
“James lived with his mother growing up in Chicago following her divorce from Jim Gordon. He suffered from a disorder which made him unable to empathize with others, turning him into a psychopath. At one point, he was temporarily sent to Arkham Asylum, and was placed in a cell next to the Joker's. In a later conversation with his sister, James hinted that he gave the Joker the idea to find her and attack her. Later in his life, he returned to Gotham, bent on confronting Dick Grayson, whom he had surmised was the new Batman.”
Cult Leader
{Spoiler}1. Scarecrow-“The Scarecrow With a Brain….and Uses it Quite Well” Cult Leader-Cult Aligned
Role: You are a Cult Leader. You have the ability to convert one person a night into your cult. You win when members of your cult outnumber or tie the other players in the game. You do not have any other special roles.
During the break, you have decided to create another version of your ‘fear gas.’ You have added a perk to this gas: the ability to mind control. Unfortunately, adding that perk and the fact you are using poor resources from the Arkham medicine wing, the ability to convert others is very limited. (This is because I do not want the Cult Leader to be guaranteed a win and get an automatic victory.) You will be innocent in investigations, not your followers though.
Role Limits (To prevent you from being overpowered):
1. If you are roleblocked or if your target is protected (from death), the conversion will fail.
2. You can’t convert players who are not town-aligned. That means you can only convert Townies who…
3. You can only convert town members who are Arkham Inmates. Batman and Company are you expecting you to be there. They have pre-empted themselves with a cure of your fear gas. (They do not actually know you are a cult leader, or your character.)
4. You can only convert Arkham Inmates who have NO superhuman powers. This does not mean power roles, it literally means you can only convert villains who have no super powers. To be honest, there is still quite the number of villains who have no super powers.
These limits have been added to ensure that you are not overpowered and so that there is still a possibility of you losing. If these limits were not in place, you could get anyone and you would win with ease. Even with these restrictions, you still have a powerful role and can still easily win. Good luck.
“The Scarecrow is an insane ex-psychiatrist who uses a variety of drugs and psychological tactics to use the fears and phobias of his adversaries. He does not commit his crimes for wealth, but rather as a form of "research" to further study the effects of fear on humans (later, he does it to satisfy his own psychopathic desires), making the innocent citizens of Gotham his unwilling guinea pigs.”

www.quicktopic.com/50/H/MLhni3X3KHgRYNevermind, I found most of them. I believe I have lost Bullock (pegasus) and Dent (Knailsic) because I made the change at the top of my head before the game started.
