EBWOP: Oh hell, I'll admit it, I don't want any sort of unreasonable suspicion on me.

Hit the music... To summarize my thoughts, Day 1 is necessary. It is random in the short term but it yields information that is not so random in retrospect. Town has a 1:5-1:4 chance of lynching Scum. Town will probably pick the wrong guy on Day 1. This is not a survival game. If Town lynches all Scum, they all win. If Mafia kills all Town, it wins, even the lynched Mafia. If votes are Town's greatest weapon, then information is its ammo. It gets info from every lynch. It gets even more info from activity, communication, discussion. If everyone in this game posts once a day, that's a potential of 1 post x 12 players x 8 days until Deadline = 96 posts, almost 5 pages of 20 posts each, that we could look through before we have a Night Kill. It will only go down from there as players are eliminated. More information is better. More discussion is more information. As for my dice, you may use them, Artie.[/url] If you exclude yourself, that's a simple 2d6 (11 possible results). Here's what your list would look like: 2. Brad is the Suikoden Master! 3. Waffel113: The Last Airbender 4. Lodi "Riddler" Rulz 5 BoilerRoomBrawler 6. Evil Single H 7. Zack Morris is Insane. 8. Notorious 9. Classy Lady 10. Orange 11. Produceman 12. Wolf Hurricane -. Artificial Human If I use them, my chart will look like this: 2. Brad is the Suikoden Master! 3. Waffel113: The Last Airbender 4. Lodi "Riddler" Rulz - BoilerRoomBrawler 5. Evil Single H 6. Zack Morris is Insane. 7. Notorious 8. Classy Lady 9. Orange 10. Produceman 11. Wolf Hurricane 12. Artificial Human

Thanks Classy Lady.
Now let's get down to brass tacks. In the continuity of the original series, the Fire Nation wanted to take over the known world. Now while Mr. B could throw us for a loop, I think it would make sense for any Fire Nation people to be given suspicion. Of course, what's happening here depends on the Season this story takes place in. Are we in the Book 2, where Fei Long and his group took over the Earth Kingdom? Or just in Book 1? These are salient points that I think we should get answers to as soon as possible.
As for FOS', I don't have any suspects though, still waiting on an answer from Lodi, however.

In all seriousness though, yes, I've been Mafia many times before. But I've been Town many times before. And there's quite a difference in how I play in each side. I've NEVER been a good Mafia member. It's not easy for me to lie about things, and it shows. As a Mafia member, I spend hours trying to water down my posts so that they don't look suspicious.
As a Townie, I look at anything and everything: The way people vote, the things that they say, the people that they target. And I don't hop on bandwagons unless I'm certain that we've got somebody who has the Red Text. I try not to stir the pot, I try to calm down heated situations, and have people focus and come up with proper suspects.
You can trust me because I'm a better Townie then a Mafia. And I promise you, my text is the color of the dollar bill.

The thing is Lodi, I'm not entirely sure. You had everyone fooled in Star Wars Mafia, for one thing, but for lack of evidence, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
Now, looking through the write-up, I'm seeing no obvious clues. Anybody have anything?

I'm sure that it's all flavor. No clues. The two other games I've played so far (Batman 2, TMNT) were/are written that way.

I was a townie until I was converted by Daime.

Honestly, in regards to playing style, I'm told I'm an overly aggressive asshole regardless of if I'm townie or mafia.

I haven't played in too many games. I guess I play a more low-key game, kinda under-the-radar because I have an irrational fear that someone will interpret what I say wrong and go after me even though I know I'm a Townie.

Damn, already down a townie! I'm excited for this game. I'm not the world's biggest Avatar fan, nor am I as well versed in the universe as I'd like to be, but the same goes for TMNT. I just play for the game aspect, so I'm excited.

Yeah, I'm down with that idea. Orange, what do you think of basically random lynches day 1? I feel like they are pretty much a necessary evil. I've been in too many game where strings of no lynches lost it for the town. Yeah, they are a necessary evil, but I still detest them, mainly because they seem to never end up with a dead Mafia member. If they helped the town more over the course of these games, even if the odds were 50/50 I'd like them more, but it seems like the odds are 95/5 that a townie is going to get killed.

What'd I do to get lumped in worth them? Oh wait....yeah lol. Here's an idea: everyone ask the person below you on the sign up list a Mafia related question. This will help get discussion going (and maybe get scum to slip up). @wolfanghurricane: On day one, lynches are important. Would you be willing to help lynch someone on Day One even if you weren't convinced that they were scum? Why/why not? Alright, you're under me so I'll ask you a question. Do you think active inactives, in a small game like this (assuming they'll even exist given we're dealing with a handful of people), should be a focal point for the town in this game?

I say we ignore inactives for lynching purposes if we can afford to. Let's give it a couple of days to see if we have any at all.
Best case scenario we lynch every Mafia Goon in three Days. Worst case Mafia never gets lynched and ties Town's numbers in three Days and thus wins. Knock down, drag out scenario we go back and forth and one side wins in six days.
