For Day 1, I'd say you'd have to be suspicious of the person who ISN"T asking questions. If your a townie, your confused, your whole mind is a mess, you don't have much to work off of, so you've gotta ask questions to see if you can paint the picture in your head to who's on your side and who isn't. The Mafia don't have that problem because they already know who to target as the enemy, so they sit back and only jump in to ask questions when there's a townie catching the heat, to make him look even more scummy then before.

Brandon Walsh is Insane. lodirulz: Thinking about it, there are a lot of mafia games where people don't ask questions but analyze and come up with answers. Shouldn't there be more suspicion of the one's not answering questions than the ones not asking questions?

Well of course there's going to be suspicion on those who haven't answered questions, I just personally think there's a bigger beef with those who don't want to find answers as quick and as accurate as possible.

Well you can't blame me for not answering any questions since no one asked me anything.
I agree people who get asked questions and don't answer thats suspicious or the answers they give are not good enough I guess.

I say if you're not busy answering questions them get busy asking them. I think productivity is the point, not checklists.
Orange, as a Townie, would you rather vote before or after the tipping point?

posting the same thing three times in a row is scummy in my eyes Just kidding I'll ask another question then who do you all feel is the best choice for a lynch this day phase? I have to go back through the day to decide who I think is the best choice but for now lets see everybody answer this.

Hm, Single H, does someone answering a question directed at someone else mean anything to you?

Hm, Single H, does someone answering a question directed at someone else mean anything to you? I wouldn't say so, although I guess it would depend on the answer. Particularly if they haven't been asked anything. I'll ask another question then who do you all feel is the best choice for a lynch this day phase? I have to go back through the day to decide who I think is the best choice but for now lets see everybody answer this. I guess if we're going with "who hasn't asked/answered a question" it'd have to be Notorious; he's only made one comment - neither and question or an answer - and popped back out.

I know I answered AH's question regarding my opinion on first day lynches. As everyone and their uncle says, it's a necessary evil. Town needs to take the shot even if odds are it will be a Townie that is lynched because it provides the first set of clues which will snowball into more clues as the game wears on. Classy Lady, I don't think we've played together before, so I'll ask you a question. If someone casts the first actual vote of Day 1 (i.e. not a joke Vote that is quickly Unvoted), how do you respond when it is a shot in the dark with no compelling evidence for anyone? I think it's cause for debate, but I'm not going to immediately OMGUSCUM them. Quite frankly I've seen this happen in a lot of games when someone has to make the first vote and it usually turns out really bad. It takes a huge amount of balls to make the first vote and I have a weird respect for that.

What then happens if everyone asks and answers a question? Where do we go next?

What then happens if everyone asks and answers a question? Where do we go next? You analyze the questions and responses. Did anyone ask a question designed to make any response look scummy? Did anyone give an answer that was insufficient in relation to the question that was asked?

I say wit until everyone asks and answers a question. In a game this small, I think everyone will get the chance to do both long before the day phase deadline comes. Unless something really sticks out, what for all the questions and answers for now.
I haven't answered a question, I'd like to answer one soon so we can move things along.

Unless something really sticks out, what for all the questions and answers for now. Right, which is best... but at the moment, with the thing we were doing (ask the person above you a question on the list), we still have people that haven't even posed a question there. Right now I know Notorious hasn't asked me anything yet, and Wolf was right on about him only having one post in the game thus far. We still have time, but discussion is the root of the towns power. From discussion comes our votes, and our votes, especially in a small game, can mean whether we win or lose.

Notorious has been busy from what I've seen from his mod posts in TMNT. I think it's unfair to call him out at this point.
