Seriously, that had to be a heel turn, right?
I'm your typical mark who went in to that match booing Del Rio and cheering Ziggler because I cheer for who I enjoy, but I legitimately found myself HATING Del Rio for his actions during the show. I'm sure that promo sealed the deal on the heel turn, but I think that was excellently done as I can't imagine anyone not feeling sorry for Ziggler.

I had to wince at the gifs I saw. He sure kicked Ziggler in the head a lot in that match.

So if Del Rio's a heel again, and he's champion again that means he can feud with Sheamus again.

If I was 100%, Del Rio would be on the ground after a ZigZag.

I hate when WWE ruins potential great moments. They knew Del Rio wasnt over and Ziggler would get the cheers. Seriously, they have Ziggler lose the title when he just got his hands on it, to hand it over to Del Rio?! Because Del Rio is over like Rover, right?...No.
Dolph should have won this match and even if they are building him as a face, its not like people were booing him as a heel anyway. So who cares?! I honestly hated what they did tonight. Shame on WWE.

You know what, this is kind of how he was when he first came in, before all the destiny bullshit, he was a dick. I didn't mind it at all, Ziggler should be face anyway.

I honestly hated what they did tonight. Shame on WWE. If you analyze the kayfabe logic here, Dolph originally stole the title from Del Rio when ADR was down with a leg injury after a hard-fought victory over Swagger (also the same guy that concussed Ziggler). Ziggler's karma was only coming back to harm him in the end the way he lost the title back to ADR-- and even then Ziggler still gets a rematch because at this point there's one hell of a rubber match left lingering to settle the feud of Ultimate Opportunism between Del Rio and Ziggler. But yeah him kicking he newly-won Diva's Title was simultaneously dickish heel, and over-the-line Sheamus face-cruelty (that will generally get X-Pac heat from smark crowds like Chicago). ADR knew what he was doing, I think Ziggler's WHC robbery drove ADR back to his Santa-killing days of yore.

I don't know. Sheamus has been a total dick for most of the last few months, and he's still supposed to be a babyface.
In WWE, it seems like the bigger jerk you are, the bigger a babyface you're meant to be.

That was the most amount of character he has shown in months. I loved it

Probably one of the most genuine reactions they've gotten out of me in a while. All I wanted was for Del Rio to stop kicking Ziggy in the head and it didn't stop. It got worse and worse until he dropkicked him whilst getting medical attention. That was when I lost it. That was when Del Rio went from being a dick to being an absolute c***. The finish actually made me well up I was so sad and worried for Ziggy. I didn't even know I liked Ziggy that much.

Judging by WWE's write-up on it, it sounds like it might've been setting up a heel turn; they pretty much do nothing but talk about how merciless and cruel it was.

Yeah, reading it, it sounds like Del Rio tried to murder Ziggy practically. Especially when they put emphasis on him pushing the ref out of the way.

So if Del Rio's a heel again, and he's champion again that means he can feud with Sheamus again. They deserve a proper conclusion. Hell in a Cell is not tooooo far away.
