Arsenal leading right now, still wish this fixture was at the end of the season. I see these two teams fighting for a spot in Europe again.

Spurs are obviously work in progress. You can't bring in that many new players and expect them to gel straight away. Good win for Arsenal.

According to various reports, Kaka has gone back to Milan on what appears to be a free transfer.

I'm in the Fantasy League too by the way - DanielBryan Munich.
Nervy, nervy game for us against the Mancs today. Our defense was superb, so hard to pick a man of the match out of Skrtel, Enrique & Henderson. Henderson is very very quickly turning into my favourite player. Showed glimpses in the second half of last season of that potential we bought him for, and his performances this season have been great, you can really see he is putting his all in.
Not sure about Aspas tbh, he seems a bit weak physically. Hope he will improve though. With the signings of Sakho & Ilori being confirmed tomorrow, and Suarez coming back, plus the momentum we're creating I am really REALLY excited for this international break to be over. BR is building a winning mentality in the boys, we're looking like a good squad and pushing for Europe now doesn't seem quite so ridiculous. I'm not mentioning the T word yet haha

Liverpool to confirm signings of Sakho and Llori on permanent deals, with Victor Moses on Loan. Shay Given in as backup to Mignolet also likely to happen.
Fabio Borini to be loaned out to Sunderland.

How many signings will that make for Liverpool?
Sakho seems to have been 'highly rated' forever, will be interesting to see if he lives up to his promise.

Not the most exciting round of fixtures this weekend in terms of goals but damn there were some absorbing matches. I've always liked Arsenal so it was nice to see them shut Spurs fans mouths for a while (oh who am I kidding? A day, at most) and silence the Wenger critics for a while. Very impressed with Liverpool once again today, Sturridge is fantastic as usual but I've been quite surprised at the quality of Henderson for a while now. Never rated him but he's playing well thus far this season.
On a personal note it was an absolute relief not only to get three points but also in the manner we (Newcastle) did on Saturday. First half we were solid enough, but second half we went into another gear. I thought we were very, very good (which was saying something after the first two games) although I would have liked to see us take a few more of our chances, it really should have been 3 or 4-0. Benny's goal was special too and the relief in the stadium was palpable. Great stuff.

Thoughts on today's deals? Mesut Ozil is a very good player and is well suited to Wenger's style and I wouldn't say no to having him in my side but I think Arsenal needed a Midfield rock first. They've never replaced Vieira in that role IMO and he was the key to their success. Sign Ozil sure but also sign a hard-man. If it didn't look like he was United bound, I'd say Fellaini would be a good target.

Personally think Arsenal could've done with a couple of defenders and maybe a goalkeeper (although they have signed one on that front but I'm not sure how good he is) rather than a classy midfielder such as Ozil. As DiBiaseIsGood said he is a very good player but Arsenal already have arguably the best midfield in the Premier League, it's defensively I feel they need to strengthen. Signing a Viera style hard-man midfielder might not have been a bad idea either. They've never been the same since he left.

Landing Anichebe, Sessegnon and Lukaku would be superb business for WBA even if it means Long is sold.

Agree with what was said on the BBC website in that I am amazed no one has come in for QPR 'keeper Julio Cesar. He's a great Goalie, the Brazilian #1 and is probably the main reason QPR held off relegation for so long last season.
