Imposters trying to sign Herrera for United Ohh how I hope that was true, the dismay on the faces of the Sky crew was brilliant. Also, nice to see Joe Kinnear's hard work and 'contacts' coming to fruition.

I got a ticket to USA/Mexico in Columbus next Tuesday and will be there. US Soccer sectioned off 9,000 tickets to supporters clubs, more than any other game in history, so it should be rocking.

Poland scored what looked to be the GWG against Montenegro in the very last seconds of the match, but the ref called offsides and the game ends in a 1-1 draw. Hopefully video will be available soon as you really gotta see the footage.

The team Belgium have at the moment is fantastic. If they can all start really playing well together, then they'll be contenders for the next few tournaments. They have Mignolet, Vertonghen, Kompany, Vermaelen, Dembele, De Bruyne, Hazard, Fellaini, Benteke, Lukaku, Mirallas who are all decent players. I don't know much about the non-Premier League players though.

So the US streak will be coming to an end. Doubt there will be a protest over Costa Rica treating the team like crap.
Also, Mexico blew a game to Honduras at home. Chepo is done.

So it seems that no team qualified after yesterday's/today's games... but as such, a metric crapload of them are set to do so when they play again in a few days time.

How is Coleman in line for a new contract? If I remember correctly they've only beat Scotland and they've lost to some dreadful teams.

I liked Chris Coleman's masterplan yesterday of having Gareth Bale on the bench for the entire game.
Genius.

If I remember correctly they've only beat Scotland and they've lost to some dreadful teams. tbf they weren't doing too much better before Coleman Gary Speed won 5 of his last 7 matches in charge before he died. Coleman has won 3, 2 against Scotland and 1 against Austria and he has lost 8 games including getting hammered 6-1 in Serbia. Whilst they have a few dodgy players their first team mostly consists of players from Premier League teams and good ones at that e.g. Ben Davies, Neil Taylor, Ashley Williams, Aaron Ramsey, Joe Allen and Craig Bellamy plus Adam Matthews and Joe Ledley from Celtic and, of course, Gareth Bale. Not a terrible team by any stretch.

I can't believe that Moldova keeper was the best the country had to offer, I can't imagine what their reserve keeper must have been like.
