Alexei Ramirez leading the AL in batting with a .413 average and has hit successfully in every game (12) so far this season. To think I almost typed .134, which would not be unusual for the guy's typical production in April.
More White Sox news: They have already scored 76 runs (leads MLB), which is roughly 8% of their 2013 total. They have scored at least 5 in every game; which is good, considering Felipe Paulino and Erik Johnson are in the rotation.

John Farrell ejected after arguing an overturned replay.
Also Francisco Cervelli, who was playing 1B, is out with an injury. Looks like they'll have to call Romine back up.

John Farrell ejected after arguing an overturned replay. Hopefully it's the spark that wakes up this Red Sox team. They've been playing some seriously dead, lifeless, uninspired baseball to start the season. And with potential injuries to Dustin Pedroia and Koji Uehara, it could get a lot worse.

And the Yanks have another injury with Solarte injuring himself running. We may have a pitcher playing defense as the Yanks have no other bench players right now.

It seems like those Red Sox hitters get endless rope when bitching to umpires about balls and strikes,
Also, yay, 3 out of 4 for the Yanks with depleted team and all.

Not even a month into the Season and the Red Sox are already toying with me.

Watching the Pirates game. First basemen Gaby Sanchez hit a home run, and the whole team did the YES chants from the dugout.

Mets win, but both Curtis Granderson and Juan Lagares got hurt, and Chris Young won't be back until Friday.
Granderson will probably just get a day off (he was bruised up pretty badly from hitting the OF wall), but Lagares tweaked his hammy, won't be surprised if they DL him...because of course our best hitter early in the season and the new best defensive CF in the league would get hurt. Of course he would.
Ugh. Hopefully just a quick DL stint, no lasting trouble.
I want to watch the video of those Phillies fans reacting to Uggla all day. I actually was ok with Philly winning that game (Braves are a hell of a lot more likely to be an upper tier team this year than Philly), but it was all worth it for that.

When the video gets to slow-mo, it gets psychedelic.

What kind of dumb taunting are they doing to Uggla anyway? I always like watching Philly fans eat crow in such an epic fashion, but I need to know the context. Good news for Mets fans is that Granderson's X-Rays came back negative so he'll just miss 1-2 games from being banged up.

I'm a Phillies fan and I find the video hilarious as well. I'm more annoyed by the predictably trolling articles crapped out by various sites in order to get those delicious delicious page views. And of course, it works EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
It's at the point that if Philadelphia can kick the stereotype I'd die a happy man.
