The first installment of WWF 96:
Monday Night Raw, January 1st, 1996 Tonight’s edition of Raw has been christened “The Raw Bowl” and is a football themed show. A marching band and cheerleading squad are on hand for the show, Vince McMahon and Mr. Perfect are joined on commentary by the Raw Bowl Queen and the ring is designed to resemble a football field. The evening’s featured contest is a four team elimination contest, where the Superstars all wear football jerseys. The four teams in the match are interviewed ahead of the match, as The Royal House of Dentistry(Jerry Lawler and Issac Yankem DDS), The Underdogs(Barry Horowitz and Hakushi), The Dark Side(Savio Vega and Fatu) and The Million Dollar Dream Team(Tatanka and Kama) prepare to do battle. Lawler and Yankem go on to win The Raw Bowl, last eliminating Vega and Fatu.
After the match, a vignette airs for former all-pro football player-turned wrestler, Ron Simmons. Simmons talks about his gridiron accomplishments, promising bring that field experience to the WWF. After that, Diesel disposes of King Mabel in a match that lasts exactly fifteen seconds, nailing Mabel with a big boot as he enters the ring. A promo then airs with Camp Cornette(including new member Vader) vowing that one of them will win the Royal Rumble Match. The 1-2-3 Kid and Marty Jannetty then battle in a high flying contest, with The Kid coming out on top after Sycho Sid interferes. Razor Ramon then runs out to save Jannetty from a two-on-one attack, as the Razor/Kid conflict continues.
A replay of the Hog Pen Match from In Your House: Season’s Beatings follows, as Hunter Hearst Helmsley defeated Henry Godwinn. Godwinn would get the last laugh, however, by throwing Helmsley into the pen after the match. Finally, Raw closes a video package highlighting the career of Shawn Michaels, ahead of a huge press conference concerning his future, next week on Monday Night Raw…

Monday Night Raw, January 8th, 1996 On a night where Shawn Michaels’ future will be revealed, Jeff Jarrett, The Smoking Gunns and Ahmed Johnson are all scheduled to be in action. In addition, Razor Ramon and Sid are set to battle one-on-one. We will also hear from Goldust, Diesel and others…
In the opening contest, Jeff Jarrett defeats Hakushi. Ron Simmons’ debut continues to be hyped, as the all-pro is set to make his debut at the Royal Rumble in two weeks. The bizarre Goldust promises that he will leave the Royal Rumble with the Intercontinental Championship, but Razor Ramon is sure to have something to say about that later tonight. In tag team action, The Smoking Gunns pick up a non-title win over The Goon and Brooklyn Brawler. After the match, Jerry Lawler and Issac Yankem announce that Gorilla Monsoon has granted them a WWF Tag Team Championship match against The Gunns at the Royal Rumble.
Jake Roberts is announced for the Royal Rumble, among others. Ahmed Johnson then battles Tatanka, defeating the Native American Turncoat. After the match, Jeff Jarrett attacks Johnson, breaking his guitar over the Pearl River Powerhouse’s head. Razor Ramon then defeats Sycho Sid in singles action, thanks to The 1-2-3 Kid causing a disqualification. Razor is able to fight the two off, then cuts a promo promising victory over Goldust at the Royal Rumble next Sunday. Finally, the moment the world has been waiting for, Shawn Michaels announces that he will be returning to the ring at The Royal Rumble and he promises to win the match and fulfill his boyhood dream at WrestleMania…

Monday Night Raw, January 15th, 1996 Monday Night Raw, just six days before the 1996 Royal Rumble, kicks off with Goldust reciting what can only be described as a love poem to Razor Ramon. This segues into the evening’s matches, with Goldust defeating Fatu in the opening contest. Another vignette promises that Ron Simmons will make his debut this Sunday at the Royal Rumble. Speaking of the Royal Rumble, Owen Hart warns Shawn Michaels that he made the biggest mistake of his career when he announced his return to the ring. The Ringmaster then makes his in-ring debut, defeating Aldo Montoya.
Vader’s Royal Rumble debut is hyped, with James E. Cornette promising The Mastadon will make a huge impression on the other WWF Superstars. Another member of Camp Cornette, the six hundred plus pound Yokozuna defeated Barry Horowitz and Hakushi in a Handicap Match. The Undertaker promised to bury Issac Yankem in the main event. Jerry Lawler would try to help his personal royal dentist pick up the win, but The Undertaker fought off both men en route to a win, six days before he faces Bret Hart for the WWF Championship. Diesel then promised to win the Royal Rumble, then regain his title at WrestleMania. He told his good friend Shawn Michaels that what happens this Sunday isn’t personal.
And speaking of Shawn Michaels, a music video hypes his return this Sunday and his WrestleMania dream…
Quick Results Goldust def. Fatu The Ringmaster def. Aldo Montoya Yokozuna def. Barry Horowitz and Hakushi in a Handicap Match The Undertaker def. Issac Yankem DDS
On Friday, January 19th, WWF officials learned that Hakushi would miss The Royal Rumble with a hand injury.
The Royal Rumble, January 21st, 1996 The evening kicks off with a non-televised contest that sees Phineas Godwinn, the cousin of Henry Godwinn, defeat The Brooklyn Brawler in a spirited contest.
The actual event opens with Ahmed Johnson taking on Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett takes charge of the match by targeting Johnson’s knee, trying to soften him up for the Figure Four Leglock. However, Jarrett is shocked by the surprise appearance of his former Roadie. Johnson takes advantage of the distraction and pins Jarrett following a Pearl River Plunge. After the match, The Roadie chases Jarrett from the ring.
The Smoking Gunns then defend the WWF Tag Team Championship, picking up a win over Issac Yankem DDS and Jerry Lawler, pinning Lawler after a Sidewinder. After the match, as the champions celebrate their hard-fought win, The Bodydonnas jump them from behind, making their intentions to challenge for the gold quite clear.
Ron Simmons makes his WWF debut, defeating Kama in short order, the Supreme Fighting Machine not getting in much offense against the All-Pro Lineman.
Razor Ramon then puts the WWF Intercontinental Championship on the line against the bizarre Goldust. Razor seems to have the match well at hand, until the referee gets knocked out. The 1-2-3 Kid then runs in and nails Razor with the belt, before rolling Goldust on top. The referee comes to in time to count the pin, as we have a new Intercontinental Champion.
The 30-Man Royal Rumble match follows. Highlights from the match include: Hunter Hearst Helmsley entering at number one and lasting over forty-five minutes; Jake The Snake Roberts eliminating Mabel when the King of the Ring gets caught in the ropes trying to escape from Jake’s snake, Revelations; Razor Ramon running in to attack The 1-2-3 Kid; Vader eliminating five men, including the massive Yokozuna and standing alone in the ring; Shawn Michaels making his dramatic return, eliminating Vader from the fray; Diesel saving Michaels from Vader’s post-elimination assault; Owen Hart being eliminated by Michaels as revenge for nearly ending his career. The bout finally comes down to Michaels and Diesel, with Michaels eliminating his best friend with Sweet Chin Music to win the Rumble for the second straight year.
Diesel and The Undertaker cross paths as Diesel exits and The Undertaker enters for his WWF Championship match. The Undertaker has the Champion on the run and plants him with a Tombstone Piledriver. Unfortunately, Diesel returns to ringside and pulls the referee out of the ring, causing a disqualification. Undertaker and Diesel have to be held apart by WWF officials as the PPV goes off the air…

Monday Night Raw, January 22nd, 1996 Raw is live, one night after The Royal Rumble. Last night, Shawn Michaels punched his ticket to WrestleMania, but it’s still up in the air who he may be facing on the Grandest Stage Of Them All. After the events of the WWF Championship match at the Rumble, Gorilla Monsoon has opted for another first in the World Wrestling Federation. At the next In Your House, Bret Hart will defend the WWF World Heavyweight Championship against both Diesel and The Undertaker in a Triple Threat Match! The first man to score the pin or the submission will become the Champion and Bret Hart doesn’t even have to be involved in the fall to lose the title.
As for Shawn Michaels, he may not even make it to WrestleMania. On Raw, Owen Hart came out and interrupted Michaels’ interview with Vince McMahon. He said that after he nearly ended Michaels’ career back in November, he deserves the chance to headline WrestleMania. Michaels said that he had been meaning to discuss that whole “trying to send me into an early retirement thing” with Owen. Michaels wants Owen at In Your House and he’s willing to put his WrestleMania title shot on the line to get it. Owen accepts the challenge and vows to headline this year’s WrestleMania…
At the Royal Rumble, we saw the debut of Ron Simmons, who made short work of Kama. On Raw, after Simmons picks up another victory, Jerry Lawler confronts him, claiming that he’s sick of hearing everyone talk about how great Ron Simmons was on the football field. Lawler says that since he won the Raw Bowl, he’s a way better football player than Simmons could ever hope to be. For his part, Simmons just laughs off Lawler’s deranged logic.
We have a new Intercontinental Champion in Goldust, who defeated Razor Ramon at the Royal Rumble. Razor is furious over his loss, blaming The 1-2-3 Kid for costing him the belt. Razor attacks Kid after his match on Raw, only for Kid to interfere in Razor’s match later, causing him to lose to Hunter Hearst Helmsley by count out.
And what of Jeff Jarrett? Last night at the Rumble, he lost to Ahmed when he distracted by a ghost from his past, The Roadie. Jarrett confronts his former employee, who declares that his name is Jesse James. James makes his in-ring return with a victory over The 1-2-3 Kid, but Jarrett gets the last laugh when he attacks James and locks him in the Figure Four Leglock.
The Smoking Gunns defeated Jerry Lawler and Issac Yankem at the Royal Rumble, but their celebration was cut short by the Bodydonnas, who attacked the Tag Team Champions. On Raw, The Bodydonnas pick up a victory, as Sunny declares them the next number one contenders for the WWF Tag Team Championship.
Finally, at the Royal Rumble, Vader made quite a showing, eliminating five men from the Rumble match, including his Camp Cornette stablemate, Yokozuna. Cornette wants to keep the piece in Camp Cornette, so after Vader’s win against Savio Vega, Cornette declares that he is teaming up Yokozuna and Vader next week on Raw and promises they will be the most dominating team in WWF history.

Monday Night Raw, January 29th, 1996 With three weeks to go before In Your House: The Triple Threat, tensions heighten between the three participants in the event’s titular main attraction. The Undertaker battles The British Bulldog in singles action tonight, while Diesel faces Jake “The Snake” Roberts in Roberts’ first ever match on Monday Night Raw. Bret Hart joins Vince McMahon on commentary for the night, ensuring plenty of fireworks. And fans aren’t disappointed, as Diesel and The Undertaker both interfere in one another’s matches, sparking brawls that have to be stopped by officials. Bret, in the meanwhile, uses his position to share his thoughts on his challengers at In Your House and the match between his brother Owen and Shawn Michaels, as well as his opponent next week on Raw, WWF Intercontinental Champion Goldust, as the two meet in a rare Champion vs. Champion match.
The issues between Razor Ramon and The 1-2-3 Kid have building over the last several weeks, including Kid costing Razor his Intercontinental Championship. Razor wants a rematch with Goldust, but knows that before he can get it, he must deal with the meddlesome Kid. Razor therefore challenges The Kid to a one-on-one match at In Your House, which Ted DiBiase accepts on behalf of his client.
Shawn Michaels competes in his first Monday Night Raw match since November, battling Zip of the Bodydonnas. Michaels wins his match, but is attacked by Owen Hart afterwards. Bret runs his brother off, but subsequently engages in a staredown with his possible WrestleMania opponent, Michaels.
Speaking of The Bodydonnas, Sunny has to be livid after Gorilla Monsoon’s announcement that Yokozuna and Vader, following an impressive debut as a tag team, will be challenging The Smoking Gunns at In Your House. If there was any animosity between the behemoths in the wake of the Royal Rumble, James E. Cornette seems to have it all worked out and the massive twosome seem on their way to Tag Team Championship gold…
Jerry Lawler takes more potshots at Ron Simmons over his football accomplishments, as he incorporates football style tackles in to his offense against Barry Horowitz, defeating the perennial underdog with an impressive(for Lawler, anyway) 3 point stance.
Finally, Jesse James is given the opportunity to address his issues with Jeff Jarrett. It turns out that Jarrett was actually lip synching at In Your House back in July, as it was really The Roadie who sang the vocals for “With My Baby Tonight”! Jarrett denies these claims, but James comes off as more honest in the eyes of many.

Monday Night Raw, February 5th, 1996 Tonight, with two weeks to go before In Your House, WWF Champion Bret Hart and Intercontinental Champion Goldust do battle in the main event of Raw. Bret picks up the win by submission with the Sharpshooter, but after the match, Diesel attacks The Hitman. The Undertaker makes the save and drills Diesel with a Chokeslam, but then sends a message to the Champion by planting Bret with a Tombstone Piledriver, as Paul Bearer excitedly holds up the WWF Championship belt, perhaps an omen of things to come…
Owen Hart is in action as he prepares for Shawn Michaels at In Your House. Before his match with Hakushi, Owen gives Shawn a grave warning ahead of In Your House. Owen goes on to beat the Japanese sensation with the Enzugiri, the same move he knocked Michaels out with.
Jeff Jarrett refutes Jesse James’ claims that he lip-synched and challenges him to a sing off at In Your House. He also takes on Ahmed Johnson in a rematch of the Royal Rumble, winning after The British Bulldog interferes and trips up Johnson. After the match, Bulldog lays out Ahmed with a Powerslam for emphasis.
The 1-2-3 Kid gets in a warm-up for In Your House when he defeats Savio Vega. Afterwards, Razor goes after Kid, but the Million Dollar Man orchestrates his escape from The Bad Guy’s wrath. As well, Ron Simmons picks up another victory, but Jerry Lawler continues to run down Simmons’ accomplishments. Next week, Lawler says he will be accepting a Lifetime Achievement Award for his football accomplishments. In addition, as The Smoking Gunns are being interviewed about their upcoming title defense against Yokozuna and Vader, The Bodydonnas attack the Champions, who they believe have been ducking them.

Monday Night Raw, February 12th, 1996 It’s the go-home show before In Your House, and everyone is in the house. Bret, Shawn, Diesel, Undertaker, Owen… in the main event, Owen Hart teams with The British Bulldog to face Shawn Michaels and Diesel. Michaels is able to get the win for his team by pinning Bulldog. After the match, however, Owen lays out Michaels with the Enzugiri, creating doubt if Michaels can even make it to In Your House, let alone WrestleMania. As for Bret and The Undertaker, they are reluctant tag team partners in the first half of a double main event, battling Vader and Yokozuna, the number one contenders for the WWF Tag Team Championship. The match breaks down quickly, as Bret and Undertaker are unable to get along. Ultimately, Undertaker lays Bret out with a Chokeslam, allowing Vader to pin the WWF Champion following a Vader Bomb.
Elsewhere on the show, Goldust and Jake Roberts engage in a confrontation, leading to Goldust granting Roberts a shot at the Intercontinental Championship this Sunday at In Your House. In addition, The British Bulldog challenges Ahmed Johnson to an Arm Wrestling Challenge at the PPV. As well, Jesse James, The Ringmaster and Razor Ramon pick up victories. And a vignette heralds the impending arrival of Mankind, who’s debut has been hyped for weeks on Superstars.
Finally, Jerry Lawler takes to the ring to accept a Lifetime Achievement Award for his football contributions. Ron Simmons rightly calls the ceremony a farce, but is ambushed by Lawler and his dentist, Issac Yankem DDS. Gorilla Monsoon then announces that Simmons and Yankem will meet one-on-one at In Your House this Sunday.
Quick Results Jesse James def. King Mabel Razor Ramon def. The Goon The Ringmaster def. Barry Horowitz Yokozuna and Vader def. Bret Hart and The Undertaker Shawn Michaels and Diesel def. Owen Hart and The British Bulldog
On Friday, February 16th, WWF officials learned that Diesel will miss nine months of action with a torn calf. As a result, this Sunday’s WWF Championship Match will now be a one-on-one contest between Bret Hart and The Undertaker.
In Your House: The Triple Threat, February 18th, 1996 The evening kicked off with a non-televised match, as The Gdowinns defeated The Goon and Brooklyn Brawler.
To kick off the actual event, Razor Ramon battled The 1-2-3 Kid. After a back and forth match, Razor was able to hit the Razor’s Edge to pick up the victory. Following that, Ahmed Johnson and The British Bulldog had their Arm Wrestling Challenge. Ahmed was on the way to a victory, when Bulldog flipped over the table, then drilled Johnson with a clothesline. He then picked up the table and broke it over Johnson’s back.
Yokozuna and Vader then challenged for the WWF World Tag Team Championship. The challengers had the match well at hand until Yokozuna inadvertently knocked Vader down. The two big men got in each other’s faces, shoving one another. The Gunns watched the showdown from outside the ring, taking the count out loss. After the match, as James E. Cornette tried to control his charges, The Bodydonnas once again attacked the Champions.
Ron Simmons defeated Issac Yankem DDS in singles action, but Jerry Lawler attacked Simmons after the match. Following that, Jesse James and Jeff Jarrett were set to have their Sing-Off. James performed flawlessly, but after several minutes of stalling, Jarrett instead opted to lay out James with his guitar. Goldust then successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship against Jake “The Snake” Roberts, finishing off the challenger with a Curtain Call.
Shawn Michaels then entered the ring against doctors’ orders to meet Owen Hart, with the WrestleMania main event at stake. Owen again connected with the Enzugiri, but Michaels miraculously kicked out at the last second. Owen would try to hit the move a second time, but Michaels blocked it, then connected with Sweet Chin Music to get the win and secure his spot at WrestleMania.
Finally, it was time for the main event. With Diesel forced out of the picture due to an injury, The Undertaker and Bret Hart battled in a rematch of the Royal Rumble. This time, after a long back and forth battle, Bret was able to get the win with a victory roll. Afterwards, The Undertaker showed respect for the Champion. But as Bret exited the ring, Sycho Sid attacked The Undertaker, laying him out with a Powerbomb as the show went off the air.

Monday Night Raw, February 19th, 1996 We are one night removed from In Your House, where it was confirmed that Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels will do battle at WrestleMania for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. Tonight, both men compete in singles matches, at Bret takes on and defeats his brother Owen, who last night lost to Shawn Michaels, while Michaels picks up a win over The British Bulldog, thanks to an assist from Ahmed Johnson, who’s looking for retribution after Bulldog broke a table over his back last night at In Your House.
Also at In Your House, Sycho Sid made his presence known, attacking The Undertaker after his loss to WWF Champion Bret Hart. The Undertaker confronted Sid on Raw, but a third figure inserted himself into the proceedings, as the deranged Mankind attacked The Undertaker from behind. And on the topic of confrontations and sneak attacks, Yokozuna is a man without a country, or should we say a camp, as he and Mr. Fuji have been kicked out of Camp Cornette, following a loss to Jake Roberts, thanks to “inadvertent” interference by Vader.
At In Your House, Goldust successfully retained the Intercontinental Championship, but now he has a refocused Razor Ramon coming for him. Razor and Goldust meet on Raw, but Goldust gets himself counted out to keep his title, but Razor is sure lobby for a rematch down the road… perhaps at WrestleMania? In other action, The Bodydonnas and The Godwinns compete in tag team competition, with The Godwinns getting a surprise win, thanks to The Smoking Gunns. Billy and Bart have Skip and Zip in their sights for sure now and Sunny might want to be more careful what she wishes for in the future. As well, Jeff Jarrett and Jesse James meet one-on-one, one night after Jarrett broke a guitar of James’ head. Jarrett wins the first match with his feet on the ropes during the pin, but James is sure be back for more.
Jerry Lawler airs a video of himself and Issac Yankem throwing the football around, complete with a clearly doctored shot of him running halfway across the block to catch a long pass. Ron Simmons comes out and confronts Lawler, demanding a match with him next week on Raw, which Lawler accepts. Finally, Hunter Hearst Helmsley and The Ringmaster announce that they will be teaming up as The Rulers of the Ring and they issue an open challenge for next week on Monday Night Raw.

Monday Night Raw, February 26th, 1996 As the Road To WrestleMania continues, Shawn Michaels battles The 1-2-3 Kid in the evening’s main event. While Shawn picks up the victory, the big story is Bret Hart’s comments after the match, claiming that while Shawn is good, he’s better. And while Shawn may be athletically deserving of the WWF Championship, Bret says a Champion should be someone kids can look up to and last time he checked, he didn’t want his kids growing up to be strippers…
Last week, Mankind made his shocking debut, attacking The Undertaker. After disposing of Bob Holly in his in-ring debut, he says that he is darker and more psychotic than The Undertaker or Sycho Sid could ever hope to be. He wants the rest of the WWF to feel his pain and he’ll start with those two at WrestleMania. In another follow-up from last week, Goldust said that he who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day, and for him, WrestleMania is another day. He challenges Razor Ramon to meet him on his own turf, in a Hollywood Back Lot Brawl.
Last week, Camp Cornette kicked out Yokozuna, but this week, the 600 plus pound Sumo got a measure of revenge, attacking and slamming Vader after his match. Cornette got Vader to back for now, but there will be no backing down come WrestleMania. In other WrestleMania news, Gorilla Monsoon has announced that The Bodydonnas will challenge the Smoking Gunns for the WWF Tag Team Championship. The Bodydonnas have already begun building momentum, with Skip beating Billy Gunn in singles action.
Jesse James gave Jeff Jarrett props for being sneaky last week, but James wants a rematch and he’ll get it next week on Raw. One match that was supposed to happen tonight was Ron Simmons vs. Jerry Lawler, but The King lured Simmons into a trap, as The Goon and Brooklyn Brawler attacked Simmons on his way to the ring. Next week, Simmons battles both men in a two-on-one handicap match.
Ahmed Johnson and The British Bulldog have had their issues as of late, including Bulldog attacking Johnson with a table during their arm wrestling contest. The two met on Raw, but Bulldog made sure he got the upper hand, as his brother-in-law, Owen Hart, interfered, causing a disqualification, but giving Bulldog a two-on-one advantage going forward. Johnson wants revenge and he’ll try to get it next week when he goes one-on-one with the King of Harts.
Finally, the tag team division is starting to heat up, as The Rulers of the Ring had an impressive first outing, defeating Barry Horowitz and Hakushi.

Monday Night Raw, March 4th, 1996 The biggest news coming out of Raw concerns the main event of the evening. Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Bret Hart went one-on-one in a non-title contest, but the match was marred by the interference of Helmsley’s tag team partner, The Ringmaster. It was, shockingly, Bret’s WrestleMania challenger, Shawn Michaels who made the save for the WWF Champion. Gorilla Monsoon then went on to make a match for next week, pitting Bret and Shawn against The Rulers of the Ring.
The Undertaker and Sycho Sid met one-on-one on this edition of Raw as well, and like the main event, interference ruined the ending. Mankind charged out from the locker room and attacked both men, resulting in the match being declared a no-contest. Sid and The Undertaker were able to fight back, however, giving the fans a preview of the Triple Threat match scheduled for WrestleMania.
In other Road to WrestleMania news: Bodydonna Zip defeated Bart Gunn, thanks to outside interference by Skip; Razor Ramon built momentum for his Intercontinental Championship match with a win of Issac Yankem DDS; Mr. Fuji and Yokozuna promised a victory for the Sumo giant when he battles Vader, who will have the loud mouthed James E. Cornette in his corner; Ron Simmons defeated The Goon and Brooklyn Brawler in a Handicap Match, then challenge Jerry Lawler to a one-on-one contest at WrestleMania, which The King accepted.
In the “wrestlers seeking revenge for crimes committed in the ring” department, we had two stories. First, Ahmed Johnson battled Owen Hart, who interfered in Johnson’s match last week. The British Bulldog interfered on Owen’s behalf this week, but Jake “The Snake” Roberts ran out to even the odds. Next week, Roberts battles The British Bulldog one-on-one. And Jesse James, who lost to Jeff Jarrett to weeks ago when Jarrett used the ropes for leverage, got a small measure of revenge, in the form of a count out victory over his ex-employer.

Monday Night Raw, March 11th, 1996 Tensions ramped up between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels, as we inch closer to WrestleMania. The pair were reluctant tag team partners in the evening’s main event against The Rulers of the Ring. The two bickered throughout the match, culminating with Bret finally walking out on The Heartbreak Kid. While Michaels managed to roll Hunter Hearst Helmsley up for the victory, The Rulers of the Ring got the last laugh, as Helmsley and The Ringmaster beat Michaels down, with no sign of Bret.
Mankind and Sycho Sid locked up for the first time ever on Monday Night Raw, as their Triple Threat match featuring The Undertaker looms on the horizon. Mankind showed he can hang with Sid, but the big man still had the match well at hand. But as he went for a Chokeslam, Mankind surprised him with the Mandible Claw! Sid struggled in the hold, but then The Undertaker arrived on the scene, attacking Mankind and brawling with him to the outside, as the referee disqualified Sid. Sid would then join the fray, culminating by Chokeslamming The Undertaker in the entranceway.
In other news, Vader and Yokozuna are on a collision course at WrestleMania. Yokozuna defeated King Mabel in a hard-hitting battle, but Vader was quick to jump the mighty Sumo after the match. Jerry Lawler also picked up a victory tonight, but was jumped by his WrestleMania opponent, Ron Simmons, who has clearly had enough of Lawler running his mouth. And Razor Ramon and The Smoking Gunns built some momentum towards WrestleMania, as the trio beat their respective WrestleMania opponents, Goldust and The Bodydonnas, in a six man tag team match.
As well, two more matches have been confirmed for WrestleMania. After Owen Hart helped his brother-in-law The British Bulldog defeat Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Ahmed Johnson ran out to even the odds. A tag team match between the two pairs will take place at WrestleMania. And, after weeks of sneak attacks and trading victories, Jesse James and Jeff Jarrett are set to clash at WrestleMania.

Monday Night Raw, March 18th, 1996 After the events of last week’s main event, Gorilla Monsoon has signed Shawn Michaels vs. The Ringmaster on tonight’s episode of Raw. The Ringmaster will have Hunter Hearst Helmsley in his corner, but who does Shawn have? Bret Hart walked out on him last week and sure enough, he was nowhere to be found as the main event got underway. Michaels was able to pull out the win, rolling up The Ringmaster after a failed attempt at interference by Helmsley. Michaels has a ton of momentum heading into WrestleMania, but will it be enough against a determined Hitman?
Last week, Mankind, The Undertaker and Sycho Sid brawled in the wake of a wild Sid/Mankind match. Tonight, Gorilla Monsoon has mandated that the three are to remain hands off until WrestleMania. Mankind battles Henry Godwinn, picking up a win, while The Undertaker makes quick work of Tatanka. For his part, Sid does a lot of ranting and raving about both of his WrestleMania opponents.
Last week, Ron Simmons finally had enough of Jerry Lawler and attacked The King after his match. Tonight, Simmons took on Jeff Jarrett in a singles encounter that quickly became a handicap match, then finally, by order of Gorilla Monsoon, a tag team bout, that saw Jarrett and Lawler cheat their way to a victory over Simmons and Jesse James.
Goldust sent a warning to Razor Ramon in the form of short film, The Smoking Gunns had words for their WrestleMania challengers, and Camp Cornette built momentum with a six man tag team win over their WrestleMania opponents.
Quick Results Vader, Owen Hart and The British Bulldog def. Yokozuna, Ahmed Johnson and Jake “The Snake” Roberts Mankind def. Henry Godwinn Ron Simmons def. Jeff Jarrett by disqualification Jeff Jarrett and Jerry Lawler def. Jesse James and Ron Simmons The Undertaker def. Tatanka Shawn Michaels def. The Ringmaster
WWF Superstars, March 24th, 1996 Quick Results Ahmed Johnson and Jake “The Snake” Roberts def. Alex Porteau and Scott Taylor(after the match, Owen Hart and The British Bulldog attacked Johnson and Roberts) The Turkish Predator def. Butch Jesse James def. 1-2-3 Kid Vader def. Aldo Montoya
Monday Night Raw, March 25th, 1996 Six days before WrestleMania, it’s the go home edition of Raw. Tonight was the last time Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart would get to exchange words before WrestleMania and neither man held back. Michaels took umbrage with Bret’s claims that he’s not a role model, saying he never asked to be one. He also calls Bret out on abandoning him two weeks ago. Bret says he wanted to see what Michaels could do with the odds against him. He handled himself well, so now Bret knows he has to bring it at WrestleMania. Shawn says he’s not about to back down and Bret says he wouldn’t have it any other way…
The main event on this evening is a non-title contest between Goldust and The Undertaker. Before the match, Mankind plays mind games, as his squeals can be heard over the loud speakers. During the match, he appears on the video screen, giving his own unique commentary from the arena’s boiler room.
While Goldust has his hands full with The Undertaker, Razor Ramon does battle with the third part of the Triple Threat equation, Sycho Sid. Razor manages to pick up the win, as he vows to take back his Intercontinental Championship this Sunday.
In other action, The Smoking Gunns and The Rulers of the Ring both pick up victories in tag team competition. While The Gunns are scheduled to defend their Tag Team Championship against The Bodydonnas this Sunday, Hunter Hearst Helmsley and The Ringmaster are scheduled for action on The Free-For-All, taking on The Godwinns.
In other WrestleMania news, Vader and Yokozuna, Jesse James and Jeff Jarrett, Ron Simmons and Jerry Lawler, and Ahmed Johnson and The British Bulldog all interact with just six days before their WrestleMania clashes.
Quick Results The Smoking Gunns def. Alex Porteau and Scott Taylor Owen Hart def. Jesse James British Bulldog def. Ahmed Johnson The Rulers of the Ring def. Savio Vega and Fatu Razor Ramon def. Sycho Sid The Undertaker def. Goldust
WrestleMania XII, March 31st, 1996 We kicked off the night with tag team action on the Free-For-All. Both The Rulers of the Ring and The Godwinns are relatively new combinations and a win would mean momentum for whichever team got their hands raised. On this night, it was The Ringmaster and Hunter Hearst Helmsley who came out on top, after Helmsley hit a Pedigree on Henry.
The actual show kicked off with a grudge match between Jesse James and Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett has done all he could to avoid James’ wrath for almost two months, but finally, on this night, nothing can stop the former Roadie from exacting his revenge, as he pins Jarrett clean to win the match and gain his revenge.
After months of chasing the titles, The Bodydonnas finally got their chance to challenge for the WWF Tag Team Championship. Unfortunately for them, The Smoking Gunns came ready to avenge last year’s WrestleMania defeat and they picked up the win here, after a Sidewinder to Zip.
Ron Simmons also came to WrestleMania looking to avenge months of attacks and insults. He dominated Jerry Lawler, finishing off the King in under three minutes with a Spinebuster. Unfortunately, his appetite for vengeance was not satiated by this win and he continued to inflict damage on Lawler. The referee gave several warnings, but finally had no choice but to reverse his decision, disqualifying Simmons and giving Lawler the victory.
Owen Hart and The British Bulldog entered the ring for their match against Ahmed Johnson and Jake “The Snake” Roberts, looking determined. However, both men ran when Jake’s snake came out of it’s bag. Once the match got underway, the difference maker ended up being James E. Cornette and his tennis racket, which Bulldog cracked Johnson over the head with to get the win.
Speaking of James E. Cornette, he had another charge to manage, as Vader battled the mighty Yokozuna. Yokozuna had a considerable weight advantage, but he was no match for Vader’s brutality. The Mastadon picked up the win, after hitting seven consecutive Vader Bombs on his opponent. Yokozuna had to be helped to the back by medical personnel.
Next up was the Intercontinental Championship Hollywood Back Lot Brawl. Goldust has paraded around with the Intercontinental Championship since the Royal Rumble, but Razor looked to take it back at WrestleMania. However, he wasn’t counting on his long-time rival, The 1-2-3 Kid, to get involved. As Razor had Goldust hooked for the Razor’s Edge, Kid clipped his knee with a set of nun chucks, allowing Goldust to hit a modified bulldog on Razor for the win.
The Triple Threat Match was next, as The Undertaker, Mankind and Sycho Sid nearly tore Anaheim apart. Mankind used a chair to wear down The Undertaker, but Sid Powerbombed him through the Spanish announce table. The end came when The Undertaker sat up as Sid signaled for another Powerbomb. Undertaker blocked a Chokeslam attempt, the Tombstoned Sid for the victory.
Finally, it was time for the WWF Championship bout, as Bret Hart defended against Shawn Michaels. The two went at it for over half an hour, countering everything the other dished out. Bret got Shawn in the Sharpshooter, but Michaels fought through the pain his knee and back were in and reached the ropes. But with his leg in no condition to hit Sweet Chin Music, it was only a matter of time, it seemed. Bret pulled Michaels back to the center of the ring and went for the Sharpshooter again, but this time Michaels caught him in a small package for the victory! Bret sat stunned as Michaels was handed the belt, then stormed off, leaving the new Champion to celebrate.
Quick Results Free-For-All: The Rulers of the Ring def. The Godwinns Jesse James def. Jeff Jarrett WWF Tag Team Champions The Smoking Gunns def. The Bodydonnas to retain the titles Jerry Lawler def. Ron Simmons by reverse decision Owen Hart and The British Bulldog def. Ahmed Johnson and Jake “The Snake” Roberts Vader def. Yokozuna WWF Intercontinental Champion Goldust def. Razor Ramon to retain the title The Undertaker def. Sycho Sid and Mankind in a Triple Threat Match Shawn Michaels def. WWF World Heavyweight Champion Bret Hart to win the title

WELCOME TO RAGE IN THE CAGE!!!
Big problem, I don't have a cage. Because I am a small fed, I don't have the option to have a Cage match or a Hell in a Cell. Jeeeeeeez, this is gonna suck.
Dark Match: RVW beats Samu in an attempt to get him over.
Opening segment, Queen Bee is in the ring with her clients RVW and Strong Song talking shit before another six man tag team match against War Machine and Yaz Urano. RVW gets the pinfall on Yaz after the Frog Splash. Yaz threw a hissy fit about losing to somebody so low down on the card. What a dick.
In an "attempt to salvage the main event" segment, Brother Shabubu and WALTER are in the ring and inform us that the States Athletic Commision are REFUSING to allow something as bloodthirsty as a cage match and WALTER will not be defending the Intercontinental title tonight. Viking takes issue with this and points out that there's no state law prohibiting LADDER MATCHES! WALTER gets laid out with his own title belt while Viking poses.
Mark Andrews interview. He is jealous of Pete Dunne's popularity. He is going to beat the piss out of Pete Dunne later. 61%
AJ Cruise and Freelance team up to take on Gaetano Cincetta and Hooters the Owl. Hooters spends more time playing to the fans, leaving Cincetta to essentially wrestle the match on his own. Freelance hits a Hurrcanrana on Cincetta to win the match.
Hype video for our newest tag team - Jake Carter has found himself a big bad tag team partner in British worker, Bad News Rampage Brown. The video also explains OWL will be hosting the World Tag Team Cup in two months time! Also, I don't have to pay Carter and Brown for this as they appeared on video link. I am a cheapskate.
Mark Andrews and Pete Dunne fight to a no contest. It's a bloody and savage brawl and eventually the referee throws the match out. The two brawl to the back. This got a 64% rating and is the highest segment we've ever had!
WALTER defended the IC title against Viking in a Ladder match. This was a brutal match, Viking took a spill from the top of the ladder through Hooters' announce table, allowing WALTER to retrieve the belt. This match got a 65% rating as if as an FU to the previous one.
Viking suffered an injured hand coming off the ladder, but will only be out for one month. But at 15k per appeareance, I don't really plan on using him much anymore so I offered him his release.

Tag Team Cup Part 1
I tried to reunite The Headshrinkers by hiring Rikishi and having him team with Samu, although at 68 over Rikishi wouldn't even consider signing with my promotion as we're too small. Enjoy unemployment asshole.
Dark match: Hooters the Owl gets his first victory by defeating new OWL jobber Scotty Vegas with the Talon Strike.
First round of the OWL Tag Team Cup - the now official team of AJ Cruise and Freelance take on Rob Van Wicked and a OWL debut, the evil masked luchadore Triple (IRL British journeyman Iain Morris). AJ and Freelance win the match after miscommunication between Triple and RVW allows AJ to pin RVW. AJ and Freelance are going to be teaming regularly so they get the rub.
Brother Shabubu is in the ring, informing us that the WWE Intercontinental title is on hiatus as WALTER is in the Tag Team Cup. WALTER's partner is introduced as KAGETORA! This might be our highest rated segment ever at 69%! The new duo will be taking on War Machine in a stiff as hell brawl. Strong Song make the run in and whack Hanson over the head with a flying V, alowing WALTER and KAGETORA to win.
Gaetano Cincetta and Zack Sabre Jr are in the ring. Cincetta introduces us to his new and improved tag team partner (take THAT Hooters!). MVK Valkabious debuts as Cincetta's partner and the two quickly assault Zack Sabre Jr who in turn is saved by his own debuting partner - Aleister Black! Aleister hits a Fade To Black on Cincetta for the Crimson City Saga to advance to the next round.
Pete Dunne cuts a Skype interview. He challenges Mark Andrews to a match at the next event and allows Andrews to pick the stipulation.
Mark Andrews def Yaz Urano using a Shooting Star Press. Crowd really into this one. 60%
Jake Carter and Rampage Brown debut as a Power and Paint Powerhouse Tag Team - Soldiers of Anarchy! They brutalize Strong Song for most of the match until Queen Bee interferes in the match to give her guys the advantage. War Machine make a run in and cost Strong Song the match after a double powerbomb from the S.O.A.
Zack Sabre Jr came to me backstage and complained about being put with Aleister Black as he felt Black wasn't getting the same crowd reactions as him. Way to stand by your tag team partner dude. I lost money this month because I've used a lot of guys in the tag team tournament.

Tag Team Cup part 2
Day before the Tag Team Cup - Triple checks himself into rehab for alcohol addiction! Motherf***er. Get help dude.
Dark match: In a money saving exercise, Samu defeats Scotty Vegas in the worst OWL match of all time.
Brother Shabubu, WALTER and KAGETORA are in the ring, Shabubu cuts a scathing attack on AJ Cruise and Freelance before their match. WALTER and KAGETORA get the win when Shabubu hits Freelance with his skull topped cane.
Promo from Zack Sabre Jr and Aleister Black. Surprised Zack agreed to do this, the two-faced shit. Soldiers of Anarchy hit the ring and have an absolute scorcher of a match at 81% but the crowd arent quite their with Carter and Brown yet. Rampage gets the win and hits Zack Sabre Jr with The Curbstomp to advance to the next round.
Which begins immediately! WALTER and KAGETORA run straight to the ring and brawl with SOA. Jake Carter hits The Pounce on WALTER and the Soldiers of Anarchy get the win and become the first ever winners of the OWL World Tag Team Cup! Celebration ceremony post match helps the crowd connect to SOA a bit more. I'd planned to have Black and ZSJ win this trophy but Zack torpedoed that.
Pete Dunne defeated Mark Andrews in a Falls Count Anywhere match hitting the Bitter End on the stage. This was the highest rated match in OWL history at 68%. Crowd were hot for this one. Post match, Andrews loses his mind and Pilmanizes Dunne's ankle as the show closes.
Jake Carter popped up to tell me he wasn't happy teaming with Rampage Brown! What is it with all these sneaky tag team partners? Pete Dunne's contract is up next month and he's refusing to re-sign which is fair enough, he's got bigger things than OWL in his future. Also, Happy birthday to Hooters the Owl! Gaetano Cincetta has agreed to work an open contact with PWG and almost immediately torn his calf and is out for 9 months ¬_¬

Anniversary Show I!
We've been in business for one full year already.
Dark match: MVK Valkabious defeats AJ Cruise, Yaz Urano and Hooters in a fatal fourway match by using his new finisher, The Blackout - cobra clutch with body scissors to choke out AJ, who bitched and complained about losing to the new guy.
Pete Dunne is out next. Doctors have advised him not to compete with his injured ankle, but to hell with them! He's going to defeat Mark Andrews in a Last Man Standing match, and if he can't do it, he will leave OWL!
Aleister Black defeats RVW when Queen Bee tries to interfere but accidentally trips RVW.
Brother Shabubu, WALTER and KAGETORA are in the ring. Brother Shabubu starts refering to his quasi-religious cult as The True Way. I guess that's the official name of the stable from now on.
KAGETORA beat Zack Sabre Jr in an amzing match 90%!
Mark Andrews cuts an interview stating he is finally ready to get out of Pete Dunne's shadow.
WWE Intercontinental title match, WALTER defeated Jake Carter after a "fan" jumps up on the ring apron and gets hit with The Pounce instead of WALTER. WALTER then nails Carter with a Golden Bomb to retain the title. The fan and WALTER then perform a beatdown on Carter before Rampage Brown runs in to make the save. I refuse to split Soliders of Anarchy despite Carter's complaining as I don't plan on pushing either as singles stars.
Urgh.... War Machine jump Strong Song backstage. I am so f***ing sick of both these teams, they've been feuding on and off since November of last year.
Mark Andrews defeated Pete Dunne in a Last Man Standing match. Amazing chemistry from both men as usual. Post match Dunne gets on the mic and thanks the OWL fans for their support to a standing ovation. Great match but both men lost overness due to the feud ending and not being developed enough. I had planned on keeping it going longer but Dunne's contract was up and he wanted to move on.
- Anniversary Show I was our best show to date 61% - new regional promotion, Wrestling Is Life has openend - Freelance requested to work with KAGETORA. I agree to job Freelance out to KAGETORA next show. Freelance responds by signing with WWC and taking the injured Gaetano Cincetta with him, although they will both still be working for me. - Mark Andrews signed a written contract with PWG so is now gone. If I had known this was coming, I would have had Pete Dunne go over in the final match. - Pete Dunne has not signed with anybody else yet.
Roster after Year 1
AJ Cruise - Face, 42 Over, Daredevil Aleister Black - Face, 35 Over, Weirdo Brother Shabubu - Heel, 45 Over, Evil Preacher CJ Otis - Heel, 38 Over, Glam Rocker Cody Hall - Heel, 38 Over, Cool Freelance - Face, 41 Over, Highlight Reel Gaetano Cincetta - Heel, 49 Over, Fiery Italian Hanson - Face, 41 Over, Badass Hooters the Owl - Face, 17 Over, Comedy Character Jake Carter - Face, 47 Over, Power and Paint Jason Hades - Heel, 41 Over, Glam Rocker KAGETORA - Heel, 46 Over, Psycho MVK Valkabious - Heel 25 Over, Street Fighter Queen Bee - Heel, 31 Over, Egomaniac Rampage Brown - Face, 34 Over, Power and Paint Rob Van Wicked - Heel, 40 Over, Arrogant Rowe - Face, 42 Over, Badass Samu - Face, 46 Over, Family Guy Scotty Vegas - Face, 12 Over, Fun Babyface Triple - Heel, 13 Over, Mysterious WALTER - Heel, 46 Over, Monster - Intercontinental Champion Yaz Urano - Face, 40 Over, Foreign Star Zack Sabre Jr Face, 41 Over, Old School Face

In response to our nearest rival, I've decided our next event will be titled Wrestling is... DEEEEEAAATH!!!
Lame I know.
This is our first event with a full commentary team, I've hired Sly Stone to join Hooters on the commentary booth.
Dark match: Yaz Urano and Soldiers of Anarchy defeat RVW and Strong Song when Yaz pins RVW after a tombstone.
Brandon Gatson debuts as a legitmate amateur wrestler, cutting a scathing promo against "sports entertainers". AJ Cruise takes up the cause for all us Wrasslin fans but loses after being on the receiving end of a Northern Lights Suplex.
War Machine issue a challenge to Strong Song for the next event. Who cares.
KAGETORA def Freelance in a match that gets an 88% quality rating. Wow. Brother Shabubu introduces Cody Hall as the fan who interefered on behalf of WALTER last month and the newest member of The True Way.
Zack Sabre Jr def MVK Valkabious in another stunning match that gets 88% match quality.
Aleister Black cuts a promo on WALTER before their Intercontinental title match. They go on to have a pretty decent match, at one point it looks as though Black might win as he hits Fade to Black but cannot quite make the cover. KAGETORA runs in and beats down Black causing the DQ. WALTER looks unhappy at the interference but the two hit their finishers on Black until Zack Sabre makes the save.
- 56% rating for Wrestling Is Death, pretty poor considering the most recent shows. - new regional promotion Original Lucha Libra In Extreme has opened up. They've signed CJ Otis to an open contract.

So, thinking about that animation wrestling idea earlier, what's a good mod that has relatively few wrestlers/federations in it that has a pretty good stat line up for everyone in it? Also, are there any penalties for having women wrestle men, or does it come down to attitudes?

Monday Night Raw, April 1st, 1996 Coming off a huge WrestleMania, we are set to learn who will challenge Shawn Michaels for the WWF Championship at this month’s In Your House event. Gorilla Monsoon says that while there were several qualified challengers, he was giving the nod to Owen Hart, who was on the winning side of a tag team contest at WrestleMania. Monsoon declares that this event will be known as In Your House: Hart Break Hotel.
After a wild Triple Threat contest at WrestleMania, Sycho Sid has challenged The Undertaker to a one-on-one contest on Raw. After a back and forth battle, Undertaker puts Sid away with a Tombstone. But as The Undertaker is celebrating his victory, Mankind comes through the crowd and lays out The Undertaker. Mankind steals the urn and uses it to render The Undertaker unconscious, then takes off with the source of The Undertaker’s power…
In WrestleMania follow-ups: Razor Ramon takes on 1-2-3 Kid, after Kid cost Razor the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania. Razor dominated the battle, but Kid bailed out, taking a count out loss; Jerry Lawler, after a win over Ron Simmons by reverse decision, is rubbing it in that he beat Simmons at WrestleMania. After introducing his protégé, Brian Christopher, he aided Christopher in defeating Bob Holly. Simmons then burst out from the back to make the save for Holly, chasing off Lawler and Christopher; James E. Cornette and Vader were sure to rub in the fact that Yokozuna had to be taken to the hospital after their match at WrestleMania. The 600 pounder is set to miss a month of action; At WrestleMania, The British Bulldog pinned Ahmed Johnson after using James E. Cornette’s tennis racket as a weapon. Johnson called out Bulldog on Raw, sparking a wild brawl between the two that had to be broken up by WWF officials.
At WrestleMania, The Rulers of the Ring and Jesse James both picked up big victories. With The Smoking Gunns and Goldust in need of new challengers, Gorilla Monsoon will have to take them under consideration. Finally, in addition to Brian Christopher, another newcomer made his debut on Monday Night Raw, The Turkish Predator. Managed by Harvey Wippleman, The Predator battled Savio Vega in the opening contest. Vega picked up the win with a roll-up, but after the match, The Predator beat down Vega.
Quick Results Savio Vega def. The Turkish Predator The Rulers of the Ring def. The Hardy Boys Razor Ramon def. 1-2-3 Kid by count out Jesse James def. Scott Taylor Brian Christopher def. Bob Holly The Undertaker def. Sycho Sid
WWF Superstars, April 7th, 1996 Quick Results Jake “The Snake” Roberts def. Alex Porteau James E. Cornette’s attorney, Clarence Mason, announced that he was bringing a stable of ex-convicts to the WWF, a group he called The Disciples of Apocalypse. The Godwinns def. The Bodydonnas Jeff Jarrett def. Hakushi Owen Hart def. Duke “The Dumpster” Droese
Monday Night Raw, April 8th, 1996 Owen Hart competed against Ahmed Johnson, just a few weeks before he battles Shawn Michaels for the WWF Championship at In Your House: Hart Break Hotel. The last time Owen and Ahmed met on Raw, The British Bulldog got himself involved in the action and the same thing happened here. This time, however, it was Shawn Michaels who made the save. After the match, Bulldog challenged Michaels to a match next week on Raw, wanting to soften up the Champion for Owen.
Other matches confirmed for In Your House include The Rulers of the Ring challenging The Smoking Gunns for the WWF Tag Team Championship. Hunter Hearst Helmsley built momentum for his team with a victory over Billy Gunn. As well, Goldust is set to defend his Intercontinental Championship against Jesse James… provided he retained the title against Savio Vega. It was a back and forth contest and it looked at times like a new Champion might be crowned. However, thanks to the interference of The Turkish Predator, Goldust was able to walk out with the title, preserving the Championship match at the PPV.
Another match was set up for In Your House when Razor Ramon challenged The 1-2-3 Kid to another match. To get Kid and Ted DiBiase to accept, Razor agreed to sell his contract to DiBiase if he lost. The Million Dollar Man was more than happy to accept.
Last week on Raw, Mankind stole The Undertaker’s urn, the source of the Man From The Darkside’s powers. After defeating Fatu, Mankind claimed that he now controls The Undertaker’s mind, body and soul…
Vader continues to taunt Yokozuna over his injuries, but the mighty Sumo has promised to return with a vengeance. Another man who has vengeance on his mind is Ron Simmons. Like last week, he chased Jerry Lawler and his protégé Brian Christopher from the ring, as he is determined to get his hands on The King one more time…
Quick Results Owen Hart def. Ahmed Johnson Hunter Hearst Helmsley def. Billy Gunn Mankind def. Fatu Jerry Lawler and Brian Christopher def. The Hardy Boys Vader def. Marty Jannetty Intercontinental Champion Goldust def. Savio Vega to retain
WWF Superstars, April 14th, 1996 Quick Results 1-2-3 Kid def. Marty Jannetty Jesse James def. Scott Taylor The Turkish Predator def. Hakushi The Godwinns def. The Goon and Brooklyn Brawler
Monday Night Raw, April 15th, 1996 Owen Hart and The British Bulldog looked to wear Shawn Michaels down before his title defense against Owen at In Your House. Bulldog and Michaels battled one on one in the main event of Raw and while Bulldog inflicted plenty of damage on the WWF Champion, Owen Hart was there to ensure Shawn didn’t actually pin anyone’s shoulders to the mat. As Bulldog and Owen administered a post-match beat down on Michaels, Ahmed Johnson returned the favor from last week, making the save for the WWF Champion. Next week on Raw, Michaels and Johnson will team up to face Bulldog and Owen, but looming in the distance may be another old opponent of HBK. Before the main event, a video aired, showcasing some of the greatest moments of Bret Hart’s career, ending with the promise that he will be back…
Paul Bearer appeared to address Mankind’s claims that he controls The Undertaker. Bearer said that no man can truly control that which has no body, mind or soul. The Undertaker inhabits the spiritual realm, a place even Mankind dares not wander. Mankind, for his part, shows no fear of the unknown, as he picks up a victory over Hakushi.
In news relating to In Your House: The Ringmaster defeated Bart Gunn, giving The Rulers of the Ring two straight wins over the cowboys going in to their Tag Team Championship match; Goldust delivered a haunting message to his next challenger, Jesse James; Ted DiBiase and 1-2-3 Kid talked about all the things they would do once they own Razor Ramon’s contract; It was announced that at In Your House, Ron Simmons and Jerry Lawler will meet one more time to settle the score.
Raw kicked off with a bang as Savio Vega jumped The Turkish Predator on his way to the ring. Vega then replaced The Predator’s scheduled opponent in the match. Vega took the fight to The Predator in a way he hasn’t seen before, but eventually, Vega’s temper got the better of him as he shoved down the referee when he tried to pull him off of The Predator in the corner. Vega was disqualified, as Harvey Wippleman quickly got his charge out of Vega’s line of fire.
Quick Results The Turkish Predator def. Savio Vega by disqualification The Ringmaster def. Bart Gunn Ron Simmons def. Jeff Jarrett Vader def. The Hardy Boys in a Handicap Match Shawn Michaels def. British Bulldog by disqualification
WWF Superstars, April 21st, 1996 Quick Results Brian Christopher def. Aldo Montoya The Bodydonnas def. Hakushi and Bob Holly Jake “The Snake” Roberts def. Tatanka Mankind def. Duke “The Dumpster” Droese
Monday Night Raw, April 22nd, 1996 If momentum is a key factor in predicting future matches, than Shawn Michaels’ WWF Championship is in deep jeopardy after this edition of Raw. In the evening’s main event, Owen Hart pinned the WWF Champion in a tag team contest, building valuable momentum just six days before they clash at In Your House. But more than that, right before Raw went off the air, Gorilla Monsoon made an announcement that brought the WWF fans to their feet: Next week, Bret Hart will be at Raw to discuss his future!
Mankind continues to claim that it’s only a matter of time before he takes control of The Undertaker. Paul Bearer has maintained that what Mankind says is impossible, but the deranged one is so adamant, that the twinge of doubt remains. Both men picked up wins on Raw, as they seem to be heading towards an inevitable one-on-one clash.
The key word in the WWF as we build towards In Your House has been momentum. Jesse James and Ron Simmons are two men who have been building momentum as they ready for big matches at In Your House. Jesse James will challenge Goldust for the Intercontinental Championship, but the Bizarre One has been delivering cryptic warnings to the number one contender, in the form of country songs, such “Friends In Low Places’, “The Gambler”, and “The Devil Went Down To Georgia”. Meanwhile, Simmons is ready to shut up the obnoxious Jerry Lawler once and for all, but he has be wary of the likes of Brian Christopher and Issac Yankem DDS, two of The King’s most loyal subjects.
The Smoking Gunns and Razor Ramon had words for their opponents at In Your House, as The Gunns are determined to hang on to their gold, while Razor wants to wipe out his former friend The 1-2-3 Kid once and for all. But for Razor, a loss means he will have to sell his contract to Ted DiBiase…
Finally, two more matches have been confirmed for In Your House. On the Free-For-All, Jeff Jarrett will go one-on-one with Jake “The Snake” Roberts. And after Vader interfered in the tag team main event on Raw, Ahmed Johnson has demanded a match against The Mastadon this Sunday.
Quick Results Jesse James def. Al Snow Mankind def. Jake “The Snake” Robert by disqualification Ron Simmons def. King Mabel The Undertaker def. Hunter Hearst Helmsley by disqualification Owen Hart and The British Bulldog def. Shawn Michaels and Ahmed Johnson
In Your House: Hart Break Hotel The action kicked off on the Free-For-All, as Jake “The Snake” Roberts defeated Jeff Jarrett in an exciting match.
The PPV itself opened with The Smoking Gunns defending their WWF Tag Team Championship against The Rulers of the Ring. Although Hunter Hearst Helmsley and The Ringmaster tried every trick they could think of, The Gunns were able to get the win when Billy caught The Ringmaster with a rollup. After the match, The Rulers laid out The Gunns, showing that they aren’t done with the Champions just yet.
In another match that had high stakes, Razor Ramon took on his former friend, The 1-2-3 Kid. Razor tossed Kid around the ring for much of the match, but Ted DiBiase turned the tide by distracting the referee as Razor set up Kid for the Razor’s Edge. Razor attacked DiBiase, but that allowed The Kid to recover and hit Razor with a foreign object to get the win. Now The Million Dollar Man owns Razor Ramon’s contract. Who knows what this could mean for The Bad Guy’s future in the WWF…
Another man who’s future is uncertain is The Undertaker’s. Mankind possesses the Urn and claims he can use it to control The Man From The Darkside. On this night, however, Mankind used The Undertaker’s loyalty to his long-time manager Paul Bearer to lure him out. With Bearer trapped in the Mandible Claw, The Undertaker ran down to save him, only for Mankind to release the hold. He teased using the Urn, but instead walked away, leaving The Undertaker to tend to his injured manager.
Ahmed Johnson battled Vader in a match that came about after Vader interfered in Johnson’s match this past week on Raw. Johnson was holding his own against The Mastadon, until The British Bulldog got involved in the match. Bulldog and Vader double-teamed Johnson until the returning Yokozuna made the save. Vader and Bulldog escaped, but both will have to face their foes sooner rather than later.
Next, Goldust defended his Intercontinental Championship against Jesse James. The Bizarre One was accompanied by a mysterious woman in a gold dress, who sat in a director‘s chair at ringside, smoking a cigar. Late in the match, James seemed to be cruising to a win, when the woman climbed up on the apron and blew cigar smoke in James’ face. Goldust took advantage, hitting the Curtain Call to retain the title.
In the penultimate match of the night, Ron Simmons finally got to exact revenge on Jerry Lawler for trying to make a mockery of his football accomplishments. Lawler had no answers on this night, as Simmons tore through him in dominating fashion, appropriately ending it with his finisher, The Dominator.
Before the WWF Championship match, the same Bret Hart video from a few weeks ago played, with the words, “Tomorrow Night…” appearing at the end. Owen Hart put up a great fight, but Shawn Michaels was simply too determined. With the memory of Owen nearly ending his career fresh in Shawn’s mind, he put everything he had into every move during this match, finally finishing off Owen with Sweet Chin Music. But as the Champion celebrated, Vince McMahon and Mr. Perfect couldn’t help but speculate about what Bret Hart could have to say tomorrow night on Raw…
Quick Results Free-For-All: Jake “The Snake” Roberts def. Jeff Jarrett WWF Tag Team Champions Smoking Gunns def. The Rulers of the Ring to retain the titles 1-2-3 Kid def. Razor Ramon Ahmed Johnson def. Vader by disqualification WWF Intercontinental Champion Goldust def. Jesse James to retain the title Ron Simmons def. Jerry Lawler WWF World Heavyweight Champion Shawn Michaels def. Owen Hart to retain the title

So, thinking about that animation wrestling idea earlier, what's a good mod that has relatively few wrestlers/federations in it that has a pretty good stat line up for everyone in it? Also, are there any penalties for having women wrestle men, or does it come down to attitudes? There's no penalties per se, but the morale of the man who loses to the woman will drop significantly. This has happened to me in almost every case except one where the attitude attribute on the male wrestler in question (Christian?) must have been very high. Also overness will play a factor like it would if it was a man vs man.

Rather annoying, but can be worked around, at least.

I think it might be possible that the guys won't complain about losing to a woman if she's much more over than they are but I've never tested it before.

Monday Night Raw, April 29th, 1996 The Hitman is back! On Monday Night Raw, Bret Hart made his first appearance since WrestleMania. The WWF fans were on the edge of their seats waiting to see what the future would hold for The Hitman. Bret announced that after losing his the title, he did some soul searching. He says that Shawn Michaels may have had his hand raised at WrestleMania, but he didn’t beat him. He had Shawn beat, he just caught a lucky break with a small package. Bret says he can beat Shawn if given the chance. And Gorilla Monsoon has offered him that chance, in the form of a contract, guaranteeing him a one-on-one match against Shawn Michaels at SummerSlam. He just hope Michaels still has the WWF Championship when they face off…
Since Bret won’t be facing Shawn Michaels until SummerSlam, that means Michaels will need a challenger at the next In Your House. Gorilla Monsoon says he is considering a number of contenders and will make a decision next week. Ron Simmons, in an interview with Todd Pettengill, hinted that he was looking to add another achievement to his vast list: WWF Champion…
As for Mankind, he claims that last night, he chose not to take control of The Undertaker. He is waiting for the right time to claim The Deadman’s soul. As well, Mankind picks up an impressive win over Savio Vega, thanks to an assist by The Turkish Predator, who mauls Vega after the match until WWF officials pull him off.
While Vader and James E. Cornette would probably love a World Title shot, The Mastadon will have his hands full with Yokozuna first. On Raw, Yokozuna and The British Bulldog faced off, until Vader assisted his Camp Cornette ally by attacking Yokozuna. Ahmed Johnson made the save, looking to get his hands on Bulldog in the process.
Jesse James came up short at In Your House, thanks to the interference of Goldust’s new “director”, Marlena. But James has made it clear that he wants another shot at the gold and word from Gorilla Monsoon’s office is that he’ll get that shot in the very near future…
At In Your House, Ted DiBiase won the contract of Razor Ramon, when The 1-2-3 Kid defeated his former friend. DiBiase announced that Razor and Kid would be pursuing the WWF Tag Team Championship. The two make quick work of The Hardy Boys, but after Razor does most of the work, DiBiase orders him to tag in Kid to get the pin.
As for the WWF Tag Team Championship, at In Your House, The Smoking Gunns defeated The Rulers of the Ring to retain the belts. But after the match, Helmsley and The Ringmaster made it clear they’re not done with the Champions just yet. On Raw, after The Rulers of the Ring defeated The Godwinns, The Gunns returned the favor from last night by attacking The Rulers.
Quick Results The Rulers of the Ring def. The Godwinns Mankind def. Savio Vega Razor Ramon and 1-2-3 Kid def. The Hardy Boys Brian Christopher def. Marty Jannetty Yokozuna def. British Bulldog by disqualification
On Sunday, May 5th, Kama informed WWF officials that he was dealing with a drug problem. As a result, the WWF has paid for him to go to rehab for as long as needs to get well.
WWF Superstars, May 5th, 1996 Quick Results Jeff Jarrett def. Bob Holly Dutch Mantell introduced his new tag team, The Gunslingers, comprised of Barry Windham and Justin Bradshaw The Gunslingers def. The Hardy Boys The Turkish Predator def. Duke “The Dumpster” Droese; After the match, Savio Vega attacked The Predator Owen Hart def. Fatu
Monday Night Raw, May 6th, 1996 Gorilla Monsoon wasted no time in setting the stage for this month’s In Your House, as he announced that Ron Simmons will challenge Shawn Michaels for the WWF Championship. Simmons thanked Monsoon for the opportunity, while Michaels told him not to feel too down when he comes up short against the Showstopper…
Another match announced for In Your House was Mankind vs. The Undertaker. As Mankind rocked back and forth in the arena’s boiler room, cradling the urn, Paul Bearer bravely entered the bowels of the arena to ask Mankind to face his Undertaker at In Your House. Mankind played some mind games with Bearer, before ultimately accepting the challenge.
In Championship news, Ted DiBiase said that while he wouldn’t mind the Tag Team Championship, it looks like the Smoking Gunns are a little busy with The Rulers of the Ring. Therefore, DiBiase has decided to have Razor pursue the Intercontinental Championship, saying that with his help, Razor might actually beat Goldust for once. Razor makes a good case for himself with a win over Savio Vega, who is attacked by The Turkish Predator after the match.
As for the Tag Team Champions, The Rulers of the Ring attack The Smoking Gunns after their match. Helmsley and The Ringmaster are hellbent on winning the gold and it’s only a matter of time before they get their way…
As for Camp Cornette, Vader calls out Yokozuna and the two monsters get into it, but are held apart by WWF officials. But a clash between these two is inevitable. As well, Ahmed Johnson finally defeated the British Bulldog quite convincingly. Now, one has to wonder what’s next for the Pearl River Powerhouse?
Quick Results Jake “The Snake” Roberts def. Al Snow Razor Ramon def. Savio Vega The Smoking Gunns def. The Goon and Brooklyn Brawler Goldust def. Hakushi Ahmed Johnson def. British Bulldog
WWF Superstars, May 12th, 1996 Quick Results The Disciples of Apocalypse def. Bob Holly, Aldo Montoya and The Hardy Boys Brian Christopher def. Fatu The Godwinns and The Gunslingers fought to a double count out The Turkish Predator def. Marty Jannetty
Monday Night Raw, May 13th, 1996 With In Your House just 13 days away, Ron Simmons has an all-important warm-up match against The British Bulldog. Simmons, the number one contender for the WWF Championship, matches The Bulldog in power, but surpasses him in agility. After a lengthy battle, Simmons puts The Bulldog away with the Dominator, sending a message to the WWF Champion as In Your House approaches…
Another person sending a message ahead of In Your House is The Undertaker. Before his match with Jeff Jarrett, Paul Bearer says that The Undertaker is ready for whatever Mankind tries to throw at him. The power of the Urn is not what Mankind thinks it is and he will learn that no man can control The Undertaker…
As Yokozuna prepares for his WrestleMania rematch with Vader, the other members of Camp Cornette are trying to soften up the mighty Sumo. Yokozuna is able to put Owen Hart away, but after the match, Vader attacks his rival. Although Yokozuna is able to send Vader out of the ring, it’s clear that he wants revenge for the way he was treated by Camp Cornette and at In Your House, he hopes to get it…
Another person out for revenge is Savio Vega. After comments made by Harvey Wippleman and The Turkish Predator, Vega attacks The Predator after his match with Vega’s friend Fatu. At In Your House, Vega will go one-on-one with The Predator and this time, he plans on getting a decisive victory.
Jesse James gets a non-title rematch against Goldust to open Raw. It’s an even match, until Ted DiBiase drags Razor Ramon to the ring. Although Razor wants no part of it, when DiBiase distracts the ref, Razor does his job and hit’s the Razor’s Edge on Goldust, then rolls Jesse James on top of him, giving the former Roadie a win over the Intercontinental Champion.
In the Tag Team Championship hunt, The Rulers of the Ring are getting more frustrated by their inability to put The Smoking Gunns down. After Billy gets a win over The Ringmaster via rollup, The Ringmaster snaps, laying into Billy with repeated stomps, before trapping him in a sleeper hold and refusing to release it. Finally, officials pull him off, as medics check on Billy Gunn.
Finally, Jim Ross conducted a sit-down interview with former WWF Champion Bret Hart. Bret said he’ll be watching In Your House and rooting for Shawn Michaels. At SummerSlam, he wants to avenge the worst loss of his career, while also regaining his Championship at the same time…
Quick Results Jesse James def. Goldust The Turkish Predator def. Fatu Billy Gunn def. The Ringmaster Yokozuna def. Owen Hart The Undertaker def. Jeff Jarrett Ron Simmons def. The British Bulldog
WWF Superstars, May 19th, 1996 Quick Results The Godwinns def. The Goon and Brooklyn Brawler; after the match, The Gunslingers attacked The Godwinns Ahmed Johnson def. Rad Radford Jake “The Snake” Roberts def. Issac Yankem DDS Jeff Jarrett def. Marty Jannetty
On Monday, May 20th, WWF officials were informed that Alex Porteau will miss the rest of this month and next month with an eye injury.
Monday Night Raw, May 20th, 1996 It’s the final Raw before In Your House and tonight, Shawn Michaels is in action six days before he defends the WWF Championship against Ron Simmons. Michaels battled Jerry Lawler in a match marred by the interference of Brian Christopher. Ron Simmons made the save and the Champion and challenger stood side by side tonight, but this Sunday they’ll be on opposite sides of the ring…
Mankind is also in action tonight, taking on Sycho Sid. Mankind picked up the win, but afterwards, The Undertaker laid Mankind out with a Tombstone. Mankind claimed this was the last straw and promised to take control of The Undertaker this Sunday…
After Razor Ramon’s interference led to Jesse James defeating Goldust last week, James demanded a match against Razor, to prove he could win on his own. Razor picked up the win, but Goldust laid out his challenger for In Your House, much to chagrin of Ted DiBiase.
After The Ringmaster beat down Billy Gunn after Gunn upset him last week, Bart Gunn was looking to avenge his brother. Bart was able to defeat Hunter Hearst Helmsley, but Helmsley administered a similar beat down on Bart after the match. With a Tag Team Championship match on the horizon at In Your House, The Gunns title reign is in serious jeopardy.
Vader and Savio Vega both pick up wins ahead of their matches with monstrous opponents, Yokozuna and The Turkish Predator, respectively.
Quick Results Razor Ramon def. Jesse James Bart Gunn def. Hunter Hearst Helmsley Vader def. Jake “The Snake” Roberts Mankind def. Sycho Sid Savio Vega def. Al Snow Ahmed Johnson def. Tatanka Shawn Michaels def. Jerry Lawler by disqualification
In Your House: Broken Dreams, May 26th, 1996 The night kicked off with the Free-For-All, which saw Jesse James defeat Brian Christopher in a hard-fought contest.
The Turkish Predator and Savio Vega met to settle the score between them once and for all. Vega brought the fight to The Predator, but in the end, The Predator’s sheer power was too much and he picked up the decisive victory over Vega.
The Smoking Gunns entered the ring banged up, as they prepared to defend their Tag Team Championship against The Rulers of the Ring. Hunter Hearst Hemsley and The Ringmaster took advantage of their battered foes and were able to capture the titles, after The Ringmaster put Billy Gunn to sleep.
Razor Ramon looked to regain the Intercontinental Championship from Goldust, as The Million Dollar Man looked on with anticipation of finally managing a Champion. Unfortunately, due to some poorly-timed interference by The 1-2-3 Kid, it was not to be and Goldust retained his title. After the match, Razor angrily attacked his teammate and the man responsible for his contract being owned by Ted DiBiase.
Vader and Yokozuna collided for the first time one on one since WrestleMania. Vader exhibited more of the ruthlessness that put Yokozuna on the shelf for a month, but this time the mighty Sumo was prepared. When Vader charged the big man in the corner, Yokozuna sent him careening to the outside with a big back body drop. Vader was unable to answer the referee’s count, giving Yokozuna the win on this night.
Paul Bearer was optimistic about The Undertaker’s chances against Mankind, but the deranged Superstar had other plans. Following through on his threats, Mankind used the power of the Urn to force The Undertaker to lay down for him, giving Mankind a victory over The Man From The Darkside, who didn’t seem to remember anything about the match afterwards…
Prior to the main event, Bret Hart commented on the styles of the two men, before giving Shawn Michaels the slight advantage due to his quickness. That quickness would end up being the difference maker, as Michaels was able to counter a spinebuster attempt into a sunset flip for a near fall. Sweet Chin Music spelled the end for Simmons, but the challenger showed respect for his opponent with a handshake afterwards.
Quick Results Free-For-All: Jesse James def. Brian Christopher The Turkish Predator def. Savio Vega The Rulers of the Ring def. WWF Tag Team Champions Smoking Gunns to win the titles WWF Intercontinental Champion Goldust def. Razor Ramon to retain the title Yokozuna def. Vader by count out Mankind def. The Undertaker WWF World Heavyweight Champion Shawn Michaels def. Ron Simmons to retain the title

Austin vs Rock for World Title
Too Much vs E&C vs Quebecers vs Brown & Rikishi vs Headbangers vs New Age Outlaws for Tag titles in a ladder match
Ahmed vs HHH
Cactus Jack vs Undertaker for IC Title
Owen Hart vs Dustin Rhodes
Ken Shamrock vs The Colossus
Still two months out but it's how it's building up at least

It's Halloween time boys and ghouls and that can only mean one thing...
Something Wicked... this way comes
Dark Match: AJ Cruise defeats a Halloween themed Hooters the Owl. AJ looks pissed at being relegated to the dark match while his tag partner gets on the main show.
The True Way are in the ring and cut a promo on all their opponents for the evening.
S.O.A. defeat Strong Song after a bit of miscommunication between CJ Otis and Jason Hades. The two argue after the match and Queen Bee has to seperate them. This should have had a hotter crowd.
Aguilera and Freelance def the random pairing of Rob Van Wicked and Cody Hall. The storyline here is The True Way and Queen Bee's guys agreed to this tag match as neither stable has love for Aguilera or Freelance. Post match, Cody Hall decks RVW for taking the pin.
Brandon Gatson defeated Zack Sabre Jr in a 91% quality encounter match (68% overall). Wow. I only put these two together to advance a storyline. Post match, El Desperado debuts in OWL, sliding into the ring and standing over the fallen ZSJ. Desperado gets on the mic and tells Zack that he is starting to become an embarrassment to "them" and that "he" is not happy. I wonder what he could mean?
KAGETORA in an effort to prove he is a true monster defeated Bad Luck Fale, flown in all the way from New Japan for a hardcore match. This match was terrible and the crowd were not into it at all. Fale did not want to sell anything - piss off back to New Japan then.
Triple returns to the ring after completing his spell in rehab. He thanks the fans for their tweets and messages. KAGETORA returns to the ring and beats Triple down and along with Brother Shabubu and Cody, they carry Triple's lifeless body backstage.
Intercontinental title match: Aleister Black defeated WALTER to become the new IC champion. During the match, The True Way came out to help WALTER but he sent them to the back and wanted to do this on his own. Black hit the Fade To Black for the win and his first Intercontinental title reign in OWL!
Match of the night: Brandon Gatson vs Zack Sabre Jr Dud of the Night: Bad Luck Fale for being a lazy motherf***er
- Bad Luck Fale was only supposed to be a one off appearance and certainly will be after that performance. - a few more shows and I'll have made Regional. I'm upping my advertising for the next month or so, even if I lose money I want to become Regional for better sponsors and there are certain wrestlers I want to hire but won't work for me while I'm so small.

Remember, remember the 5th of November
BONFIRE FIGHT!
Dark match: Yaz Urano, Samu and Hooters def Rob Van Wicked and Strong Song when Yaz hits Jason Hades with the tombstone. Queen Bee's guys all begin rowing with eachother over such a shameful loss. Decent match though.
Brandon Gatson is in the ring. After his match of the night last week against Zack Sabre Jr, he is requesting, nay, DEMANDING a match for the Intercontinental title TONIGHT! Aleister Black comes out and agrees to the match and we have our main event.
KAGETORA defeated Zack Sabre Jr. The crowd absolutely ate this up. Could be considered the highest rated segment in OWL history at 73% overall. Post match, The True Way come to the ring and perform their initiation ceremony on their newest member, Triple. WALTER looks somewhat unhappy though.
SOA defeated Aguilera and Freelance thanks to interference from AJ Cruise who angrily turned heel attacking Aguilera, giving him his first pinfall lose when Carter hits him with The Pounce.
Backstage, Aleister Black gets ambushed by Brandon Gatson who hits him in the ankle with a chair. Will Aleister Black be able to hit the Fade to Black later tonight!?!?
El Desperado def Yaz Urano (cheers for pulling double duty Yaz). Decent enough match. Post match, Desperado points at Zack Sabre Jr who came down to ringside to watch and performs a cut throat motion.
Queen Bee and her clientel are STILL arguing about losing the dark match. RVW and CJ Otis have had enough and beat up Jason Hades, effectively ending Strong Song and kicking him out of their stable.
Aleister Black defeated Brandon Gatson. This match got an Overall rating of 70% (59% crowd, 99% Match Quality). I was stunned seeing this. Storyline going in was Black being unable to use his finishing move due to the ankle injury earlier. Black got the win countering the Northen Light Suplex with an arm triangle choke, forcing Gatson to submit in his first ever OWL loss. What a f***ing match. I know what my rematch next month is going to be now.
Match of the night: Aleister Black vs Brandon Gatson - the highest OWL segment ever. Dud of the Night: Jason Hades face turn. Nobody cares about him.
- immediately backstage, Aleister Black comes up to me and hands me the Intercontinental title. He has signed a written and exclusive contract with Championship Wrestling From Hollywood!!!! F£$* you Black you ungrateful f$%$ing piece of f$**& s"!$!!!! - ARRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!! - 252 people attended this amazing show. - f*** you Aleister Black - Jason Hades never turned up at a Comicon event scheduled for him. I suspended him for a month so it looks like I'm doing something, but he'll be back for the next show. - CJ Otis walked out on me as well. - ARRRRRRGGGGHH!!! - El Desperado has checked himself into rehab for an alcohol problem. There goes his angle with Zack Sabre Jr! - Brandon Gatson and Aguilera have both agreed to work for other promotions as well as OWL.

Eve of Destiny
There was a lot of rewrites around this, our banner show. I had intended to continue the feud between Aleister Black and Brandon Gatson but Black dumping the Intercontinental title and leaving me in the lurch lead to hasty rebooking and rehiring. El Desperado going into rehab threw a spanner into the works as well. Anyway, here we go...
Dark match: Matt Vaughn def RVW w/Queen Bee.
Jason Hades is in the ring with a new haircut and new attitude. He buries CJ Otis on the mic (Don't think I've forgotten about you Otis) and announces that he's in the tournament for the vacant IC title tonight. His oponent... the return of Pete Dunne!! Dunne asked for a small fortune for his appearance tonight, but this is a show that needed some star power. Dunne defeats Hades in a great match but the crowd weren't buying Hades as a potential winner here so were a bit unenthusiastic.
Zack Sabre Jr defeated Brandon Gatson with the Cross Arm Breaker, again countering Gatson's Northern Lights Suplex. Scorcher of a match. Pete Dunne will face Zack Sabre Jr in the finals to determine a new Intercontinental champion.
Aguilera defeated Triple in a highflying encounter. Crowd were apathetic but the two dragged it up to an above average match.
AJ Cruise defeated his former best friend Freelance after a lowblow. I had intended to give Cruise some mic time to air his grievances but I'm really pushed for time on this show.
SOA defeated KAGETORA/WATLER. Brother Shabubu got on the ring apron and attempted to interfere but distracted WALTER enough for Jake Carter to hit the Pounce. Post match, WALTER threatens Brother Shabubu but is beaten down by the rest of The True Way. Crowd loved WALTER face turn.
Zack Sabre Jr defeated Pete Dunne to win the vacant Intercontinental Championship. Crowd really weren't behind Dunne in this like I'd expected but they cheered for Zack. 99% match quality from these two like I'd expected, I hope this saves the show.
Match of the night: Zack Sabre Jr vs Pete Dunne Dud of the Night: Aguilera and Triple not clicking properly.
- Eve of Destiny earned a 58%, down from last months 65% - Zack Sabre Jr is now at 72 over. Waaaaaaay to big a star to be working for my promotion. He's not touring Japan anymore either so I suspect he might go the way of Aleister Black and leave with the Intercontinental title. Sadly, I think Zack might have to drop the title at the next event. - MVK Valkabious has returned from rehab and I have plans for him. - to fill up the roster I've made two new signings. As our next event Wrestlestock is so full, only one will be debuting.
