I hope Macklemore sweeps, but that would be the LOGICAL choice and we all know the Grammys hate to pick to logical choice, he'll be lucky to even get a single one.

Come on "Room 24" one of only 4 songs nominated for anything that I know! What's logical about it? His album was nowhere near as good as Kendrick's. I'll have to take your word for it as I haven't heard anything by Kendrick. He's the man with the plan.

These are some of the stronger nominees in a while.
Record Of The Year: Hoping for Get Lucky, but I predict Royals takes it. Blurred Lines has got a lot of backlash, so that'd be an upset.
Album Of The Year: Rooting for and predicting a Daft Punk win. Wouldn't mind if Macklemore or Kendrick took it, or even Swift (I don't think she's the Antichrist Of Music, sorry).
Song Of The Year: It's either Royals or Same Love, but pulling for Locked Out Of Heaven.
Best Pop Vocal: Backing Bruno or JT. but I predict Royals again.
Best Pop Duo: Get Lucky all the way.
Best Rock Performance: Rooting for My God Is The Sun, but I predict Radioactive (I'm a fan of both songs).
Best Rock Song: Hope it's Panic Station, but I predict Doom And Gloom. Grammy voters always back the old guys.
Besr R&B Song: Pusher Love FTW.
Best R&B Album: Probably Girl On Fire, but it should be Love In The Future.
Best Rap Performance: Probably Macklemore, but I'm rooting for Kendrick or Hov.
Best Rap Song: Should be New Slaves, but Thrift Shop wins again.
Best Rap Collaboration: Should be Power Trip, but I wouldn't mind Holy Grail winning (though BBC should have been nominated in its place, IMO)
Best Rap Album: Look, don't get me wrong, I like Macklemore quite a bit, and he'll probably have a big night, but Good Kid MAAD City was a freaking excellent album period, not just within hip hop. Yeezus is the wild card here.
Best Country Duo: Not my usual genre, but I kinda enjoyed the Civil Wars's new album so hopefully they win.

I hope he doesn't win anything because he's a pretty shitty rapper. Hope Kendrick Lamar sweeps him in every category the two are nominated in. I also hope Blurred Lines doesn't win anything because it's a shitty song with very questionable lyrics. And Robin Thicke acts like a cocky douche whenever he's asked about it. Also surprised that New Slaves got nominated for Best Rap Song over Black Skinhead. I like New Slaves, but Black Skinhead's a far stronger and more interesting song IMO.

Logically, you should listen to the Kendrick album. I like Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and think they catch a pretty unwarranted amount of flack, but the Kendrick album is an absolute masterpiece on every level you could measure a tangible release of recorded music.

I like Macklemore but it would be f***ing ridiculous if he won anything over Kendrick Lamar. It took me a while to catch on but I'm a believer in King Kendrick.
So, of course Macklemore will sweep.

They're going to keep teasing Katy with the fact she hasn't won a Grammy yet. Also, surprised Roar made it, but Applause didn't since they debuted on the same day.

I like Macklemore but it would be f***ing ridiculous if he won anything over Kendrick Lamar. It took me a while to catch on but I'm a believer in King Kendrick. So, of course Macklemore will sweep. My biggest problem with Macklemore as an artist is that his flow feels really off. Don't really like his rhyming or just his voice in general. I also think he gets made a big deal out of because he's white and raps about social justice issues. You know the media's been itching to crown Eminem's successor as "the next great white rapper" and Macklemore's in the right place at the right time. I also hate how a lot of people treat him like he's the only rapper who's ever used his rap as social commentary, especially since a lot of these people don't even listen to hip-hop beyond Macklemore and maybe one or two other artists. Rap has a rich history of social commentary dating back to its inception. I mean, I like the guy as a person. He seems like a real decent dude and I respect him for the stands he takes. I just don't like his music at all. Hell, even if I liked Macklemore's music, Kendrick Lamar's album just kills it in every category.
