This company is absolutely clueless if they have Cena win again. I'm choosing to have faith that they listen to their audience and have Bryan win. Cena should be in a super high profile or dream match at Mania, not the title match.

I'm pretty sure it will be Punk if not Bryan. I don't see any strong signs they want Cena in the WWE Title match at Wrestlemania.

The one thing I hate about Rumble season are the endless promos of "I'm going to win the Royal Rumble", "No I'm going to win". Just endless parades of people talking about how they're going to win. Yawn.
As for the Rumble/WM. So far Michaels does seem committed to retirement but if he came back I could see a Punk and Bryan vs DX situation as their issues with the Authority come to a head.
As for the winner of the rumble there's the likely winners but what would be truly interesting is if they took an upper midcarder with promise or even one of their former world champs that was banished to midcard and built them up on the way to Wrestlemania. They have a lot of people they could turn into believable challengers with two major PPVs before 'Mania. Guys like Ziggler or Ryback who have large fan followings and have been over in a big way in the past could work. It would certainly spice things up a bit. I get bored seeing the same five guys going for the title over and over and over.

I'm gonna say Roman Reigns wins it. Mainly because he just did in my WWE 2K14.

Talking heads seem to be split on this, but I feel we're getting Orton vs. Cena vs. Bryan at the Rumble, and Punk wins the Rumble, facing Orton for the title at Mania, with The Authority stacking the deck against him. Cena gets involved with the rumoured Hogan stuff, and Bryan gets HBK.

My guess after last night:
Orton vs Cena vs Bryan at the Rumble. Orton pins Cena clean to retain. We get to the Rumble as the main event, and Bryan makes a shocking entrance.
He wins the Rumble to get a clean, one-on-one match with Orton, which he knows he can win.

Punk and Bryan as the final two in the Rumble, where they go on to have a match within a match a la HBK and Taker in 2007, would be soooooooo good. The crowd would be hotter than lava.

So, what returns do you think we'll get? I'm kinda hoping for Bourne and Sheamus to return. Especially seeing as Sheamus has quite the badass beard as of recent.

I could see them heading in the direction of Orton/Cena/Bryan after last night. But I think that only really works if the losers end up in the Rumble match afterwards. Otherwise, you're missing drama and star power in the rumble with neither Bryan or Cena in there. And that would make a Punk win pretty obvious, I think.

Hopefully I'll be there in person if the city doesn't get covered butt deep in snow. The Burgh tends to have its own four seasons: winter, more winter, even MORE winter, and about a month of summer. I haven't been so excited for a Rumble as I am now. This is going to be my first time seeing the Royal Rumble live at Consol. FINALLY Pittsburgh gets a BIG show. It is about time Pittsburgh got an actual big show, since that's never really happened. PPVs in general don't come here that often. Last PPV up our way was Armageddon 2007 at the old Igloo. I was there for that one too.

After last night, it's gotta be Punk as the Rumble winner. I don't care how bad ratings are, no way they would give away the WM ME 3-4 months before the PPV on free TV. I'm thinking Bryan and Cena face Orton in a three way on the PPV.

That girl didn't immediately hop on Punk's jock. That's how you know this commercial is a work, brother.

I need a GIF of the Orton pose. Also, gotta love Kane in his old attire.

One of the things about the Royal Rumble is that it's every man for himself. Anyone can win. We might end up with a member of 3MB or Tensai might win it, might go on to Wrestlemania 30 to main event the biggest show of the year. Anything can happen at the Royal Rumble.

So is this finally the year where the Rumble winner might actually...I dunno...main event Wrestlemania? (Not counting John Cena. Of course John Cena is going to main event the damn show with the Rock.)
Other than Cena, I think the last person to actually be in the main event was Batista when he faced Triple H.
