I really can't imagine Batista winning the Rumble.

I can't see Batista winning, but I can see him getting involved in something at the PPV that sets up his WM match.

The only thing that stops Bryan from winning the Royal Rumble is the extent of his rumored concussion.

I want Batista and Bryan to be the final two, and whoever wins, the other guy wins the title in the Chamber and they can face off at WrestleMania.

WWE didn't bring Batista back to have him wrestle heatless Del Rio at Wrestlemania.
He's winning the Rumble and facing the WWE Champion at Wrestlemania.
Anyone who says otherwise is delusional.

There's no denying that Batista will be WWE Champion...
just not during the Road to WrestleMania. I kinda see him getting the title during the summer, right when his movie's in theatres.

This is going to be like Cena/Rock II.
Some people will say "IT'S COMPLETELY OBVIOUS BRYAN IS WINNING"
others: "IT'S CLEAR CM PUNK CAN WIN THERE IS NO OTHER OPTION"
others: "BATISTA IS THE ONLY CHOICE TO WIN YOU'RE DUMB IF YOU THINK OTHERWISE"
...watch Sheamus end up winning haha

I'm not understanding why so many people think it's out of the question that Batista is winning the Rumble. He's been the whole focal point of the build up to the rumble match, so is it really that unreasonable to assume?

This is what I'm expecting. Keep Batista away from the belt until after 'Mania, and then give him like a June-September run. Also, is his a normal contract or a limited dates contract? With his movie dropping in 6 months, it seems weird that he'd sign on for a normal deal. Or perhaps he has an out if he gets another movie offer?

yeahhhhhhh... it's gotta be bryan.
regarding story arc, bryan's is perfect. continuously screwed. wins the title, screwed. wins it again, screwed. authority keeps him down, doesn't want him as their champion, highly unlikely to give him a championship shot... bryan wins the rumble, forces their hand, gets his title shot at 'mania, wins the title and the war over the authority (alongside punk, who beats triple h earlier in the night).

I'd prefer Punk, but Batista seems the choice WWE would most likely go with. His comeback could easily flop if the WWE machine isn't fully behind him, but with the WWE machine behind him they could tap into some more bucks.
Beyond these two choices though I'd still like to see Bryan pull off a face turn and win the thing. I'm not even big into Bryan, but he seems like the best choice for a long term investment right now. Of course turning Bryan face in the last week leading into the Rumble or even at the Rumble would not be the best way to launch another major Bryan push. However, WWE has done less logical things for smaller payoffs in the past so I can't rule the idea completely out.

Of the two it'll go to Batista by virtue of the fact that Punk is probably gonna fight HHH at WM.
But the amount of El Dandy doubting going on here is sickening.

My safe guess? Daniel Bryan. My out there guess? Bray Wyatt. My other out there guess? Sheamus. And there's not a single other person who I think has a shot at winning the Rumble, Batista and Punk included. Punk's angle feels like it's leading to him vs. HHH (hell, Orton's barely even associated with the Authority anymore), and I've got the feeling Batista's going to be working the Jericho/RVD spot where he's treated like a credible top guy, but only so that other guys will look good when they beat him. I don't think there is any chance of Batista being given a Jericho/RVD spot for a number of reasons. Perhaps most importantly is Batista has never really been known for his selling or ability to propel people by putting them over. The money in Batisa has always been in The Animal, a dominate force that can rip through the competition. Although he may have been most interesting as a bad guy foil later in his WWE career aka Douchetista, you have to think like WWE and the money is not in Douchetista. These points don't even factor in that I doubt Batista's ego would let him fall into a Jericho/RVD kind of a spot. The way I see the Batista return is that WWE blow their load on him and are fully behind him or he is a bust. Hence, the rumored Batista/Orton WM match, which though it doesn't make a whole heck of a lot of sense right now follows WWE logic.

I can see either Bryan or Punk winning. The thing is though, Punk seems more involved in the Authority storyline and he looks to be on his way to face Triple H at WrestleMania. Batista is a safe bet, but I don't see it. He'll probably be in the last few wrestlers in the ring, but he won't win. I don't see it. There's Sheamus, who might return during the match. We all know how WWE loves to have people return and win on impact alone, but Sheamus hasn't done much at all before he was injured. He has nothing to do with any main storyline.
The only logical person to win the Royal Rumble is Daniel Bryan. Anyone else would be a mistake, IMO. It's like WWE not having Batista/Cena win in 2005, or Austin not win in 1998. The guy is incredibly talented and over enough to warrant a Rumble win.
In my ideal situation, Cena wins the WHC. Brock beats Cena at EC. Bryan wins the Rumble. We have Lesnar as the Undisputed Champion and Bryan as the Rumble winner. The Authority with reluctantly endorse Lesnar into their fold, but in the end Brock will prove to be all about himself. He'll face Bryan at WrestleMania and lose to the underdog who's not only being screwed over by the Authority, but has to face the Beast Incarnate to finally claim the belt he most certainly deserves. It writes itself.
Knowing WWE's strange booking, their have Batista win the Rumble and face Orton at WrestleMania, while 75,000 people chant "Daniel Bryan" throughout the match.

Not saying Big Dave wont be over like gangbusters, but I really don't see WWE giving him an instant Wrestlemania main event.

I'm going with Punk. I can see Batista feuding with Lesnar heading into Wrestlemania.
