1. Batista 2. CM Punk Why? Because they're the only 2 important people whose story arcs are related to the Rumble Match itself, (sorry Daniel Bryan fans), with Batista having his one-sided return Rumble feud with Del Rio and "The Authority" entering Punk into the Rumble because they "want" him to win it, it can only be one of those two. I'm pretty sure the only other person whose participation in the match wasn't on a throwaway WWE app segment was Bad News Barrett, and unfortunately I've got some bad news...he ain't winning. My money's on BOW TEESTA.

My safe guess? Daniel Bryan.
My out there guess? Bray Wyatt.
My other out there guess? Sheamus.
And there's not a single other person who I think has a shot at winning the Rumble, Batista and Punk included. Punk's angle feels like it's leading to him vs. HHH (hell, Orton's barely even associated with the Authority anymore), and I've got the feeling Batista's going to be working the Jericho/RVD spot where he's treated like a credible top guy, but only so that other guys will look good when they beat him.

My money's on BOW TEESTA. You're forgetting the fact that Bryan's entire stint with the Wyatt's was based around the Authority screwing him over, and him joining them was to supposedly become a monster to topple the machine. The angle made little sense in the vein that there was no explanation as to how this was supposed to be accomplished, but between that, and Cena promising Bryan a fair Title shot a few weeks back if he became champion, Bryan has just as much momentum going in as the two others mentioned. Maybe even more than Batista whose only connection to anything thus far is the vastly unconnected Del Rio. So, sorry Bryan detractors. He's as logical as anyone else. And couple that with the fact that he has the crowd's full favor and most momentum after last Monday night, only his possible concussion should prevent him from winning and finally completing an arc began and never finished last summer.

And couple that with the fact that he has the crowd's full favor and most momentum after last Monday night, only his possible concussion should prevent him from winning and finally completing an arc began and never finished last summer. Him having unfinished business with The Authority means absolutely nothing because as far as we know, the WWE World Champion could be John Cena or Brock Lesnar heading into Mania. And considering the fact that he isn't even IN the Rumble match officially, I have no reason to consider him a contender as of right now. My logic was based solely around the fact that the rumble match has only been heavily mentioned during Punk/Kane promos or Cole/Del Rio hyping Batista's return, so if Daniel cuts a promo tonight about how he's going to win the Rumble, then I CAN consider him a favorite to win. Anyone who gets more than just a generic I'M IN THE RUMBLE introductory line is a contender, and this year we have...well 3 actually, but Del Rio is Batista fodder and is more concerned with eliminating him rather than winning. Look, I like Daniel Bryan, but he ain't winning the Rumble. And if he does, then I will {Spoiler}{Spoiler}SET MYSELF ON FIRE AND BREATH MY LAST BREATH.

My heart is telling me Bryan will win but of the two listed, I gotta go with Punk. It feels like Punk has just kinda been floating along, doing very little of substance just waiting for something big like Mania to kick off. Though I honestly don't feel like Orton is going to be champ come Mania so the story arc would be interesting.
Edit: Call me crazy but.... I almost expect a Punk heel turn is on the horizon, with Punk being the Authority backed champion. I just can't shake the feeling that there's more to come from the whole Beard and the Best storyline, it popped up almost out of nowhere, ended after one PPV with both men unsure if they would tag again only for both men to be attacked by and enter into a feud with three-man stables. Punk excelled against and beat an Authority backed Shield multiple times, even going as far to beat them 1 on 3, with Bryan getting knocked down time after time and eventually joining his opponents, only to retaliate and finally get a win over them. Why wouldn't The Authority want Punk to win and back him when he made what was one of the most powerful stables of the past few years look like rookies? He's done a hell of a lot more to deserve their backing then Orton has. It could be a really interesting storyline for Punk to become the machine that Bryan was fighting against, seeing as people see a lot of parallels between the two. This was kinda rambly as I'm tired but hopefully it makes sense.

I'm still unsure whether Batista will actually stick around until Wrestlemania. How does his contract look like?

Bryan, Punk & Batista are probably the top 3 contenders. Lesnar is a possibility if he enters but don't see him being in it. Cena....well who knows, I wouldn't be shocked if he came in and won.

I would be absolutely shocked if Batista doesn't win the Rumble and face Randy Orton for the WWE Championship at Mania. Punk won't win because he's feuding with Triple H and will likely face him at Mania. That's fairly obvious by now. Daniel Bryan is a wild card I suppose, but it doesn't seem like he'll be back in the Championship picture for a few months unfortunately. I'm still unsure whether Batista will actually stick around until Wrestlemania. How does his contract look like? Two years. He'll probably be the Champion after Mania.

Daniel Bryan is winning.
If anyone thinks otherwise they are deluded.

Punk is more involved with the Authority than D-Bry at this point. I'm still going with Big Dave though.

My picks, from most likely to least:
1) D-Bry 2) Punk 3) Lesnar after beating Big Show 4) It's finally Kofi Kingston's time 5) Orton (after losing his title to Cena)
I honestly believe there's as much chance of Yoshi Tatsu winning the Rumble as there is of Batista winning.

Does WWE have to make it anymore obvious that Punk is facing Trips?

I really do not see either winning as I think Batistas feud is with ADR and Punks is with HHH both of which would be messed up with a rumble win and both can be helped with a rumble elimination adding to the feud.
I see Daniel Bryan most likely, they have been setting it up for him to win since August. After him Sheamus as a returning Sheamus would make a great corporate champion. Punk is third only if Bryan is really hurt and they slot him into his place. Then ADR is my crazy out there pick if they just want to be shocking.

He's probably not goibg heel again in his WWE career.

It's like you deliberately made this thread just to say Bryan has no chance at winning the Rumble.

I can't see either of them winning, to be honest. Punk seems to be well on his way to facing HHH at Wrestlemania, and Batista's most likely gonna get screwed out of a Rumble win by Del Rio. Aside from Bryan, I can see nobody else winning.
