Undertaker pinned clean in a tag match by Kama. Sure Ahmed Johnson did the covenant distraction while he tried to make the tag. But it was funny when there was many a time to go for the tag where the UT tried to just fight off the NOD instead. Made the UT look like a jobber

"On this day...June the 23rd, 1997. A day that will live in infamy."
The start of the frickin' "gang warz" (copyright Vince Russo).

June 30, 1997 Raw. Scott Putski vs. Brian Christopher.
JR: "Scott attended Texas Christian University on a football scholarship." King: "WHO CARES?!!" Vince: "Now come on King. Let's get a little background on these guys. Learn something about them."
(Only if we're in a ratings war. Otherwise we could give a crap if you don't know who Becky Lynch is.)

That any Eddie Guerrero match during his Latino Heat phase with Chyna was unbearable to watch...mainly because of King never shutting up about "Latino HEEAT this" and "Mamacita that". Really pondering to hit the mute button when I come across the next 2000 Eddie Guerrero match. Oh, you're not alone there! I remember Lawler never shutting up about Latino Heat or mamacitas. Hell, I usually ignored him because I loved Eddie. Hell, the lowriders were a sweet touch because my brother and I first saw Eddie in ECW and we were just starting to get into lowriders and lowrider bicycles.

I never noticed how often a babyface is getting beaten down in the ring right as dinner is ready.

Nitro started off the second hour with fireworks, just like Raw. The difference being that I don't remember Raw doing it while there was a match happening.

Sting just came down from the rafters then hooked his harness up to DDP who was knocked out by a belt shot from Hogan and essentially rode DDP back up to the rafters. Talk about dangerous.

After enduring nearly the entire Summer of 1999, I have concluded that the best part of this time is easily the Acolytes. Every week, they are just killing people with lariats and double powerbombs. Even when get upset by jobbers half their size (the Hardy Boyz), they still look like absolute destroyers.

Although I followed the product at that time, I forgot that "This Fire Burns" by Killswitch Engaged, before becoming a one-shot theme for Orton and CM Punk's first theme, was a PPV theme song (for Judgment Day 2006 to be exact).

WCW really, REALLY tried to pawn Kevin Nash off as "the greatest big man of all time" in the summer of 1999, up to and including having Michael Buffer say he was on several PPV introductions. I can only assume that Nash was booking WCW during this period.

Larry Zbyszko doesn't understand the Lucha rules. He thinks if you drink the water in Mexico you get disqualified.

If you're a black wrestler in 1993, you will get "Whoomp! There it is!" chants.

Sting just came down from the rafters then hooked his harness up to DDP who was knocked out by a belt shot from Hogan and essentially rode DDP back up to the rafters. Talk about dangerous. I just watched the Nitro where Hogan demanded Sting come out and wrestle then and there. Then they had "Sting" decend rapidly from the rafters and essentially crash onto the floor. Hogan & the nWo showed concern, demanding a doctor and an ambulance. (It's a shoot, brah!) Then they picked him up, shoved him into the ring and beat up the mannequin. Yeah, that may not have been a good idea to replay.

If you're a black wrestler in 1993, you will get "Whoomp! There it is!" chants. If you're an African-American wrestler in 2015, you may be required to start "Whoomp! There it is!" chants. R-Truth is taking that bullet so that The New Day may prosper in their current form.

Sting came out in a long wig and a Sting mask only to take both off and reveal that it was actually him

During the Scott Hall vs Giant match on the November 17, 1997 episode of Nitro, a fan walks into the camera frame holding up a Taz sign. He did this next to security, they talk to him, more people in white come over, and move him away. I'm guessing it was security, and not a gang in white shirts who were going to beat him up for the Taz sign.

It's amazing how completely different Chyna looked once the surgeries took place.
Even late-1998 and early 1999, it was quite noticeable. Even I remember thinking, 'Whoa, Chyna looks different. And better." While she was more beautiful by 2000, she was pretty darn pretty at times in 1999.
Man, when she had her head on straight, she was quite impressive overall.
