also fun fact about superbrawl 5, which everyone reading this topic is slowly learning one by one as they read that: it starts in progress on the network, due to technical difficulties. all that's lost is the intro and a little bit of the first match. i wonder what those technical difficulties were.

The question I'd liked answered is why is that footage missing when it wasn't missing in 2009 when WWE aired SB V on the now-defunct Classics On Demand. A similar thing happened with the June 9, 1997 Boston, MA Nitro. COD didn't air it as scheduled in 2008, with "technical difficulties" being given as the reason, yet the same episode recently went up on the Network, apparently looking and sounding just fine (haven't seen it myself).

well, i think it appearing on the network but not older technology is easy enough to explain: they didn't have it then, and they've since found it. the other way around is weird, tho.
