I always knew this really but Hall & Nash had such a sweet deal in WCW. They barely do anything. I don't know if this changes in 97 or 98 but in 96 they barely wrestle. Hogan looks like the hardest working man in the world in comparison.

Greg Valentine had a tag partner in 1996 called Buddy Valentino, who more resembled Adrian Adonis.

DDP trying to be the Rock in late 1999 was SUPER awkward. The dude basically cut a five minute promo on Ric Flair masturbating.

You know, I remember it sucking, but "Oklahoma" was even more childish and distasteful than I remembered. f*** Russo and Ferrara.

Huh, so it WAS G(oldust)TV! (August 11, 1997) But why does Brian Pillman look confused on how to put on a dress? Cool, USWA jobber extraordinaire Tony Williams on a Raw! (Yeah, little stuff like that impresses me.)

March 17, 1997 episode of Nitro had Michael Buffer do the big match introductions for the Steiner Bros. vs. Harlem Heat main event. The match is not a built up match, it's not for anything as the Steiners already have a tag title match coming up. Plus the match is pretty much nothing. It lasts all of 3 minutes before an NWO run in. I know Buffer cost them a lot of money per appearance. This seems like a real waste.

Raw, July 7th '97 - According to Austin, DTA means Don't Ever Trust Nobody. Nitro, July 22nd '97 - "We've got some exciting news about WCW coming worldwide.", followed up by a list of dates all in the US.

Bash At The Beach 1998 - Chavo Guerrero Jr against Stevie Ray is one of the greatest matches in the history of our sport.
Also Tony Schivone may have bit somebody on the buttocks once as he seems try and avoid Heenan and Tenay's questioning

Hogan looks like the hardest working man in the world in comparison. I'd say it was like that for Hogan also in 96, it didn't really change until 1997 where all 3 would wrestle a bit more frequently on the shows. As for Hogan, weeks and PPVs would go by where he would be nowhere in sight and Hall/Nash/Savage would have to do the work in terms of hyping up PPVs or being in TV main events.

Another Bash At The Beach 1998 one -
Rey Mysterio Jr. comes back after 7 month injury and Mike Tenay's says it's Mysterio's first real injury, my how times change.
And also no disrepect to American sports fans, but they keep hyping up the involement of Karl Malone and Dennis Rodman to being a big deal to fans around the world but like Lawrence Taylor at WM11 it means very little to most people outside North America paritcularly with Karl Malone.

That only WCW would attempt to take a dude from Pittsburgh, a dude from Florida, and a dude from Cleveland, and try to turn them into foreign heels.

people rag on tony schiavone for being inaccurate and hyperbolic sometimes.
"you ask any tag team, any veteran tag team, who's the top young tag team in our sport right now...talk about rookies, they'll all say high voltage."
i'm pretty sure high voltage never won a single match on nitro. and he called them the top team in the sport.

"Come on Tony, come clean; it's pay-per-view!" I love when Mike Tenay would sneak in with a comment like that, then go back to calling the match without missing a beat.
