I stated this in the WM thread-
I feel like Taker had a reason for it either to be Brock or to be now. Yes, I think this means he retires, and honestly, I think it would be very fitting if he just does his usual fade into darkness post WM bit.

I am completely speechless. Thankfully, my fingers still work.
That was... whoa.

If the news stories are true, Taker wanted the streak to end several years earlier. Finally, he gets his wish.

The shock of the crowd made that ending.
But really at some point if that's how they're gonna build Taker every year it had to end some way

If this was going to happen, it should have happened last on the show.

It's been a show of change to a new era. Bryan beating HHH, the Shield destroying Attitude Era relics, Cesaro winning the battle royal, Bray wrestling Cena and now Taker's streak ending.

Wow. I just finished watching Game of Thrones and came back to hear that he had finally lost. Can't believe it. It reestablishes Brock at least.

Honestly, a certain small part of me thought it might happen just with how damn bad the build was. It makes more sense now, Heyman's constant talk that he could do it even in the face of Lesnar repeatedly getting his ass handed to him.

Firstly; as a huge Undertaker mark I'm shocked I'm not more upset about this - I feel gut punched but not overly negative.
Secondly; I think its pretty clear Undertaker is retiring next year - clearly the WWE did not think that his retirement match needed to have the streak on the line.
Finally; I will say its a shame that was the match that ended it after so many classics. I think it should have ended with back-to-back F5's, like 5 in a row.

I'm sure it was Taker's call. If he is ok with it, so am I.
