that was the most shocking moment i can remember in ages.
unless taker retires tomorrow night, this will be looked back as a huge mistake.

Wow. I just finished watching Game of Thrones and came back to hear that he had finally lost. Can't believe it. It reestablishes Brock at least. BROCK WAS ALREADY ESTABLISHED THERE WAS LITERALLY NO DOUBT THAT BROCK WAS A BADASS HE DID NOT NEED THIS

Well this could have been a couple of things.
A) Undertaker during rehearsal of this match just realized he was done and knew he couldn't have the great matches he was used too. So he just told Vince he wanted to lose on his way out.
B) Brock is one of the few people willing to take the win. You hear a lot of stories of wrestlers turning down the chance and Brock seems like a guy who doesn't give a f*** about it.

Favorite wrestler of all time, the streak was pretty much the main thing I looked forward to all these years at Mania. Gonna be surreal not having it to look forward to anymore. Him beating Batista for the World Title at Mania 23 was probably my biggest markout moment ever. I'm kinda bummed right now

I'm not looking forward to the "YOU GUYS JUST DONT GET IT. IT WAS BRILLIANT" bulls*** from people who want to think they think on a higher level. It wasn't brilliant. You're not seeing anything anyone else doesn't see. It was just REALLY, REALLY stupid.
Also, this is absolute proof that Lesnar doesn't love wrestling or the WWE. Anyone who did would refuse to be the one...

I hope the gravity of the following sentence coming from me, of all people, is fully conveyed.
I would rather that John Cena had broken the streak.
Me, who hates Cena with an undying passion, who in the past has said that Cena breaking the streak would be the worst ****ing that could possibly have happened......
I was wrong, I was completely, unequivocally, wrong.
Because this is utter garbage.

I'm still thinking it'll somehow be overturned and the match restarted and Undertaker wins. This is just unreal. Tomorrow on Raw Taker reveals that Brock was really wrestling Conor O Brian in a bald cap. MINDGAMES.

Honestly...I kind of liked it. With how Lesnar was booked the whole feud and how he's been booked most of his second WWE run, I felt like they would do something like this anyway.

As I stated earlier, there is no way in hell Brock will be allowed to walk out of WWE after this.

I'm biased as a guy who thinks Brock gets way too much flak and think a lot of the "wah wah part-timer who doesn't care about wrestling at all" stuff is over the top. I wouldn't have picked him to do it, but I'm not offended because I think there are larger things at play here.
Taker is ready to end his career, or at the very least this streak storyline. He obviously has a big say in this, so I'm a little surprised he picked Brock, but I guess there actually is some solid respect there. I'm not up in arms about this because I think we got a preview of what a Cena/Sting/whoever dream match would look like--something that shouldn't be prioritized over health concerns and personal desire. Just my small opinion.
I also think you can do something with Brock to put over someone big, anyway.

I guess there is one small plus-side to this.
Tomorrow, Heyman is going to be sporting the biggest shit-eating grin of all time.

You know what this means? Triple H beat Lesnar last year. Triple H indirectly ended the streak! If this means that JTG and Yoshi Tatsu indirectly ended the streak then great.

I think Taker is done. There is no point in having him in another WM match and beating Lesnar at another PPV would accomplish anything. That's probably it for his career. I guess the WWE didn't want the crowd to permanently turn on Cena (well, the ones that haven't already) by having him end it, so Lesnar ending it was believable and not going to damage any active wrestler.

If there was anything to make me stop watching, this is it.
I'll swallow my pride and hope WWE does something spectacular soon, because if not, consider my fanship dead.

Honestly I don't mind who gets the rub or whatever. I just hate that after the best storytelling they ever did(starting with Flair vs Michaels, leading up to HHH vs Taker hell in a cell) didn't end with the streak ending, then they went with...this. It was just so damn underwhelming.

Absolutely underwhelming.
If Undertaker was ever gonna lose, he deserved a much better ending than that.

If Taker was done the build would have been vastly different.
He's wrestling at least once more, maybe even coming back semi-regularly for a year.
