I was a big fan of Jack Black well before he became a big star and liked Tenacious D before they got a bit of fame with the songs Tribute, Wonder Boy, and F*** Her Gently.
I saw Daniel Tosh back in the 1990s because he had a show on the same channel that ECW Hardcore TV came on in my area. The show was called 'Tens' and it featured 'Bikini Babes.' It took him many, many years to really catch-on from the time I first saw him. Incidentally, former WWE Diva Amy Weber used to be his co-host.
I was a fan of Bob Odenkirk well before he became well-known, if he is considered well-known now. I'm not sure if this should count.

Don't know if you could really count any of these guys as "celebs" or "famous" but thanks to living in Hollywood...
My buddy Dewey is now the singer of Kill Devil Hill, with Rex from Pantera on bass, and originally featuring former Black Sabbath drummer Vinnie Appice.
This guy Chris that I worked with is now drummer for the Butcher Babies, on tour with BLS and Down, just played Rock on the Range.
And, I've got a friend in NXT. Judas Devlin. Think he's been on tv once, jobbing.

Miss Corpus Christi 1998, Eva Longoria. She also had some commercials down here way before she became famous. So stick a bag on that, Cody!

I know "Calvin Harris" from school and various wrestlers from the UK too such as Drew McIntyre and Adrian Neville as they are now.

Not known personally, of course, but I remember when I was very young seeing Mike Myers doing the 'Sound Asleep Club' skits on Timmy Mallet's Wide Awake Club morning kids show. I used to look forward to those more than the rest of the show.
First thing I saw Sandra Bullock was in was Demolition Man. She was good in that and has certainly ended up with a big career since.
It's often fun when you get British actors that you know from their early work here and, many many years later on, see them appearing in big-budget movies or tv productions and getting acclaim. Like Jim Broadbent, Ian McShane or Imelda Staunton and so on. Broadbe has a couple of excellent guest character in Only Fools and Horses ("Cwying!")

Everybody in Cincinnati claims to know George Clooney, Sarah Jessica Parker, Carmen Electra, and Nick Lachey, because they all grew up, or otherwise spent some time in school around here. Nick and his brother Drew were part of a barbershop quartet at Kings Island when I worked there. Probably crossed paths with them a few dozen times without knowing it. Oh, yeah, and Jerry Springer was the mayor back in the 70s, then went on to become a local newscaster after bouncing a check to a prostitute before getting his talk show.

Bill Engvall had a following here in Arizona years before the Blue Collar Comedy Tour was even a thing.
While I was on vacation in San Diego in 1998, a then largely unknown P.O.D. was just a few feet behind me performing on one of MTV's Summer things. Never even remotely imagined they'd become a favorite band of mine for a while.
