then ended so sour that it kind of ruined the whole deal for you.
Nexus and HHH vs Orton, 2009, would rank up there.
Kane vs Undetaker, 2010 is generally ignored, considering it ended up with dull matches and the entertainment aspect around was generally insipid, but it started off surprisingly hot, with Kane sticking in some career mic-work swearing vengeance on Undertaker's attacker. The wheels came off with Mysterio stuff, I guess.

I liked Kane's background promo music of evil.

Edge and Matt Hardy could've been an epic blood feud.
Then Matt Hardy opened his mouth.

Heyman and Punk. The segment the night after MITB is one of my all time favorites and the Punk/Brock match was terrific. After that it went completely downhill.

That was really odd too. It peaked in its first couple of months then just stumbled to a drowsy finish. A month, tops, after the Lesnar business.

Would it have an easier question to just list feuds that didn't end up in the shits?

Would it have an easier question to just list feuds that didn't end up in the shits? The only two that come to mind for me are HHH/HBK 02-04 Jericho/HBK both 03 and 08 fueds. Also Punk/Hardy and Punk/Mysterio

CM Punk's Pipebomb in 2011 ended with Triple H feuding with Kevin Nash Definitely this. This started off white hot, then fizzled out to become the Triple H show.

The CM Punk/Hardy feud works brilliantly if you can ignore Undertaker showing up in the last 5% of it. Bret/Austin is pretty untouchable.

Thats the thing with WWE some really good feuds and angles reel you in like a sucker then they fall flat on their face.

Jericho coming back in 2012 and basically having a meltdown. I thought they were going to go in this really dark direction with it, but it made as much sense as a downloaded story on WWE 2k14.

Punk in 2011.
Somehow the conclusion to this storyline was Kevin Nash texting himself and facing Triple H in a "sledgehammer on the hook" ladder match. Oh and that's before they decide "hey we'll have TWO WWE Champions! Only for a week though. Punk can't sell this walk out for TOO long! But wait, it gets better.... Alberto Del Rio cashes in on the red hot CM Punk!"
yeah....

I'd also like to add that it kinda bugged me how they acted as if the entire company is in turmoil without the WWE Championship...despite the fact that they have another world title.
