Charlotte got a lot of those good wrasslin' genes from Ric. She reminded me of him last night at times, in the way she sold big moments, the way she moved around the ring, things like that. HI haven't followed NXT much for the last few months, I saw her when she debuted and thought she was pretty bad. She's still awkward-ish but she's got this amazing presence about her, especially for someone so inexperienced. And Nattie was the perfect opponent to reign her in and work a solid technical match. Loved how they kept it simple, but did simple so well that it felt epic.

You know people probably won't like that I have to say this, but I really hope that we're not gonna see everyone keep breaking character and crying at every single big NXT event. Now granted I think in Charlotte's case it was the most justifiable, even if she was the most heelish of those who have done it, but I hope that it doesn't become a recurring theme of these shows since they'll prob happen once every 2 or 3 months

By far the greatest divas match since Trish and Lita on Raw a few years back. I knew going into it that this was going to be amazing. I thought Charlotte was great for sometime now, but this match really showed how great she actually is. Clearly Natalya's best match as well. And having Ric and Bret at ringside along with the ending of the match, it was beautiful Wrestling story telling rarely seen anymore. Made me proud to be a fan in this watered down PG Era. Question though..... Where was Jim Neidhart in all of this? No legends contract, rehab??? Thanks

I didn't like it quite as much as many others seem to have done but it was a great match, I just had no idea what was going on in that figure-four spot which tainted things a little. that did kinda annoy me... They did the reversing the pressure spot wrong... the figure four's counter is to turn so the move is upsidedown dagnabbit! This match, no this entire show, should be how matches are produced on Raw and Smackdown. This is WWE's "C" show and it is so much better in-ring than the main programs. Well technically this was meant to be the "C show"'s ppv Special Event... but I will agree that this is how WWE should be booking their PPV's Special Events.

Women's match of the year, by far. I had my doubt's about Charlotte, but she absolutely stepped it up. It flowed nicely, without the need of any crazy spots or moves. This is what happens if you really give the girls a chance to shine. Good on Nat for helping Char look great.

Definitely one of the best matches (womens and otherwise) in a long time.

You know how you can tell that this was an awesome and exciting match? Because it went now three pages without someone asking "How many boners would Bret Hart give this match?"

And I get that much and I'm fine with it sometimes, but if every NXT event is gonna have at least one match with people crying and hugging it's gonna get old for me quick if they keep having these events every couple of months. I don't expect it to continue with the next NXT show (or at least I don't for now) so it probably won't matter but who knows

After all, these will be the first "big events" most of the NXT wrestlers have experienced, and quite a few will likely be winning their first WWE title on one of them. That sounds like crying material to me.

It's sad that we can never get this on a larger stage. AJ and Kaitlyn did something similar with much less time, at Payback, last year and it was pretty damn good. I bring that up because while the match was certainly well-wrestled, I didn't have any affinity for either woman so it left me a bit cold. Certainly miles better than I anticipated though. I do wonder if this is what we'll see on a regular enough basis with Hunter fully in charge or does he only view women's wrestling as a niche product that only excels on a small case? To this day, it kinda seems like the latter.

It's like he takes pride in generally shattering the b.s. boundaries, rules, presentation and limitations put into place by Vince these last ten years or so. I think he really enjoys the challenge of straight up proving that proper stories in the ring is what wrestling can be and is still all about. And I truly feel like when Vince does shuffle off, we'll finally see a return to wrestling the way it is SUPPOSED to be presented -- albeit modernized, flashier and featuring better athletes.

That was the first great divas match that I can recall seeing since maybe Lita vs Trish in the RAW main event eons ago. My most common complaint about the divas is how they always seem to look like they're playfighting. Natalya and Charlotte just went out there and worked a damn fine match with some unique spots. They had a better match than any of the Bret/Flair encounters IMO. They proved to me that the divas division CAN be entertaining if there is some intelligent effort put into the booking.

Like, NXT is really cool and all, but nothing there is serious enough to be crying over. It's not like it has made me not want to watch the show in any way or anything like that, but it certainly didn't drag any emotion out of me.

The match was good, but it was no Melina vs. Alicia Fox.
Seriously though, a diva's division with Paige, Emma, Charlotte, Bayley, Alexa Bliss, and Sasha Banks will be gold if they're given more time in the future.
