I voted for a lot of guys once I realized I could make 20 choices (which is why I should never be given the book of a wrestling company without a babysitter in all honesty, I'd just throw the World Title on everyone for a month at a time if I didn't have someone to reign me in) but Luke Gallows was my first choice before I saw I could make more than one. He's one of my personal all time faves and he deserved at least a better shot than he got. I'm glad he's getting some sort of shot over in NJPW.
Like I said I voted for a lot of guys that I feel could at least have done MORE than they did or been treated with more respect than they got but two other guys on this poll I feel should have gotten much more of a shot than they did are Colt Cabana and Elijah Burke.

Goldust. Maybe not an actual run with the belt, but he should at least be on the level of "credible upper midcarder that can be inserted into the world title picture at any time". Instead they made him a comedy low carder for the majority of his WWE career.

Nick Dinsmore - took a very good and solid wrestler and gave him a pretty limiting gimmick.
I always thought they could turn him major heel by coming out one day and breaking character, attacking a heel and then saying he faked it to get in the WWE.

Pretty surprised Regal is so high in the results. He seemed like he was on track to win the WWE championship and then he failed a wellness test or something. Hard to blame WWE for not trusting him after that

Stevie Richards. He stands as probably the best actor in wrestling. He made every damn gimmick work and he had a hell of diverse list of gimmicks. He should at least be around in NXT training guys.
Nova... Just... Yeah.
Saturn, he could have been a bit more. In WCW he should have been in the title picture.
Chris Jericho. Yeah he had his success, but they cut him off at the knees every time the crowd really got behind him.He could have been bigger and been more of a draw, but he was walking dogs.
Sean O'haire, decent skills that could have been cultivated, and a fantastic look, and great speed for a dude his size.

A good chunk of that list either just weren't charismatic enough to get over outside of wrestling skill (Morrison, Benjamin, Ted Jr.), had out of control drug issues (Jannetty, Regal, Kendrick), dealt with injuries (Tazz), just weren't looking to main event in the first place (Ultimo Dragon, Viscera), or just plain weren't good enough to main event (Hassan). It's rare when WWE truly screws up with someone just because they didn't like them. They're nowhere as petty as fans like to imagine. Ok though you have at least a bit of a point with many here (Though again I have to say it wasn't so much about demons and injuries, it's the Gimmicks WWE made them do as well), Hassan isn't one of them.
Hassan got screwed. He was set to go OVER Undertaker at the next PPV, but a Taped Segment on a Smackdown where Masked Guys came out and beat down Taker like a day after a Bomb Explosion completely de-railed Hassan and he never recovered.
That guy was destined to be a Top Heel in WWE, Timing and WWE cutting hi balls off immediately from it (Even though that segment was their decision) ended him.
He was a joke that should have never gone over. And he didn't. Look, we can argue back and forth about what never was. It will not affect what currently is.

Hard to blame WWE for not trusting him after that Plus, even if he did win it, he wouldn't have had it long. He's said many times he likes where he is, and does not envy the champion, who is ultimately carrying on their shoulders the buy rate.

With WWE Doing what they are doing with Stars like Sandow, and every African American and maybe even Rollins until proven otherwise, I thought it would be nice to take a Painful Trip down Memory Lane, and let you guys pick some of the most screwed over WWE Stars that have ever stepped foot there.
Whether it be Gimmicks, just not being used right or to the best of the Ability. These guys may have deserved, and never could get the big one. both, or more, most of if not all of these stars deserved better in the E. The question is, who did they screw up with the Most? Have at it, you can pick more than one! And if I missed a name, I'm sorry, I'm stupid.
I'm sure this thread will be interesting anyway

Come to think of it, looking back, Booker T was made to look like a fool a lot in WWE too, still sort of it.
He was hilarious and all but still made out to be a joke at times...

In the case of Malenko and DDP, weren't both of them close to if not in their 50s when they went to WWE? They'd have got a Finlay push at best regardless. DDP is 58 now and Dean is 53. Dean came in in 2000, so he was 39, and DDP came in in 2001, so he was 44.
DDP was Older but that dude is STILL in great shape, and he had a great storyline planned for a Peoples Champion Feud with The Rock, but instead they used him as a Stalker?
DDP was one of the most over guys in WCW, ever. You heard the Pop when he took off the Mask as the Stalker. What they did with him was Garbage. And Feuds with Kane, Big Show, and then his thing with Christian, nothing helped him, they made him look like a complete Joke.
As for Dean, he could have had IC Title Runs, and a World Title Run even. That guys Work Ethic wasn't matched by many. Many people praise just how much of a worker Dean really is. What did the E do? The man Feuded with Women. Screw the WWE, really.
Dean was never World champion material. Just because he was a great in ring worker, that means little when the fans don't react. The was no way in 00 with the main event picture stacked. Was he ever getting that high up the card. Sure feuding with a girl stupid. Malenko wasn't a good promo guy. He didn't do anything to get the fans going. That what it takes to make you get notice. Malenko could wrestle circles around anybody yes, but being just a good in ring worker doesn't make you MEer or upper mid card even.

I guess in WCW when he unmasked as Ciclope against Chris Jericho and won the fans were exploding for the Popcorn Vender?
Malenko could get over on his wrestling skill, the crowd liked him for wh he was. But in WWE, that isn't enough.

Other - Zack Gowan.
Kid had one leg and he could wrestle. had they put him up against smaller guys instead of giving him wins against big show, he could have been a pretty good attraction and would have gotten them loads of positive publicity.

That was WCW and that kind of pop didn't happen every night he went out there, I'm saying he was never MAIN Event over to make it too WWE champion in 00. Malenko never on his best day could not out pop The Rock at that time, Austin, Foley, and others. WWE at time with it's whole attitude era had a different style of wrestling fans. Malenko was a great wrestler I'm not taking away from that and there was moments he got a good reaction as you showed there and in ECW. However he wasn't consistent at doing that and didn't out pop the NWO, or Sting, Luger, and ext. Those guys did what Malenko did THAT night weekly.

Him beating Big Show to earn a Smackdown contract is still one of my favourite moments.

Hassan was absolute ass in the ring. Daivari is damn good, but having to watch him have dull match after dull match got exhausting after a while. I went back and watched a few Hassan matches, and while he wasn't exactly a wizard out there, he wasn't terrible either, IMO.

Shamrock in 99 was over as anyone, they could have easily had another main event face considering Austin was out with injury.

IDGAF, Kennedy was awesome. I have to agree, especially when you take into account how much they kept stripping away from him because he was getting too many cheers as a heel. At the end of the day, here was a guy who had a real passion for wrestling, could put on a good match, could talk really well, had a good look and build, and was loaded with charisma. The fact that WWE didn't take advantage of all of that still blows me away. Also, you could apply just about all of that to MVP as well. If I recall, that "Who is Vince's son?" angle was supposed to end up with Mr. Kennedy being Vince's son. Then he got wellness'd (after going on national TV to claim he's never done steroids) and put an end to that. So it's not really that WWE didn't take advantage of it, it's more him f***ing up when they were going to.

Mr Perfect shouldn't be on the list. Had he not passed away I believe he would've found himself back in the WWF/E at some point
