It's hard to like Cena anymore, at all. His constant being put over stars is really just grown on many fans. He is the same thing and has been the same thing for nearly 10 years. Is there anything to like about him?
Wrestling Ability? He can work with some guys effectively like Cesaro, Punk, Bryan, but a lot of times it falls flat for me, and he barely does anything different, and when he tries it looks sloppy and awful like his Frankensteiner, which honestly I think exposes him more as someone who is a moderate wrestler at best.
Promo Cutting? He can't cut a joke, he doesn't usually have a crowd behind him, and his whole serious shtick he pulls has also been pulled for nearly 10 years. The best, I've always been who I am, if you want to beat me you'll have yo yadda yadda yadda. It's the same song and dance, over and over again. Especially when he faces a monster and has to OVERCOME THE ODDS.
His whole delivery? Cena is always put against the Odds it seems, always put against people as the underdog, always beaten up in matches, only to bust out the "Five Moves of Doom" and completely smash the threat and Cena Wins lol.
His Rainbow Gear? HA!
The only things I like about Cena is his Make-A-Wish contributions. I aint gonna hate on a guy for making a little kids dreams come true, and he's made I believe the most in it's history? I give him points for that, however this doesn't reflect on how he comes off as a wrestler and how he is booked.
And the other is his dedication. Despite the fact how much we hate him, he knows we hate him, and he still goes out there and tries. He works all year round to try and put on a show, even if he fails, he tries. When he gets hurt, he comes back like a freak (Which sometimes ticks people off more), but as much as I don't like Cena and others don't like him, I do have to at least admire the drive in him to be a top guy and be a face of this company. Could other guys do it if given the chance? Absolutely, but I at least give a nod to Cena for having a really thick skin.
What about you guys? Anything salvageable about Cena?

John Cena has had enough great match with a varied amount of different wrestlers that I can confidently say he's a top notch performer and when put in the main event can carry his weight of a great match.

There's nothing to like about him. He has enough pull in the company to push for a new character direction but instead he would rather bore us all to death for 10+ years. I hate him for this reason alone.
Turn f***ing heel already. Nobody wants to see you winning your 400th title. TURN. HEEL.

I'd say his in-ring work, most of the time, not his no-selling nonsense like we saw at the end of the match.. Ugh.
Character-wise, nothing about him appeals to me.

Brings it in the ring consistently. I honestly cannot remember the last match of his I hated (the finishes of them are a different story). That and in both kayfabe and reality, he isn't afraid to go to bat for guys like Punk and Bryan which usually leads to fun.

The possibility that he may one day make this face again. I'd say we could call him "Dark John Cena" but that's racist I think, and it just gives Rusev more of a reason...

He's so nice to all those little children with diseases. Then again, that could be just so he can bang their moms.

I hold the belief that Cena is going to remain the same character until he retires. That's a pretty rare thing in pro-wrestling for a character to make it through his entire run without abandoning his beliefs at any point. There have been so many times when he could have just been turned into a heel (and eventually back to a face again)... but the fact that he hasn't makes him quite a rare deal in history. I also like his hard work ethic and his mic work when he's not trying too hard to be funny.

The finishes though. It feels like when it comes down to Cena finishing a match he can't make a guy look good in a loss because he "Hulks Up" and just puts them away.
Last Match I definitively hated from Cena, and the perfect example of this, was vs Sandow with one f***ing arm. Suffice to say, we saw how that's fared for Sandow's Career.

Guy is a workhorse and a true great in the ring. But something in his character has got to give. Show some vulnerability, anger, and preferably for more than one segment. You know, the types of emotions that normal people have, so that they can relate to you.
I admire the 'Never Give Up' deal, but change it up just a little bit.

He's basically a tweener, there's no reason to ruin that and no reason AT ALL for Cena to turn on the kids. As long as he's in WWE, he'll always be a babyface.

Agreed for the most part, but I can absolutely remember the last match of his I hated - the match with Bray at Extreme Rules. That was one of the worst things he's ever done. That said... I dunno. Cena does everything right and brings it in the ring, but it's been the same song and dance for so long he could be working a ***** classic every night and I just wouldn't give a damn. I'm sick of him and I want something new.

Oh God, that Sandow match. I was one of those fools "That made Sandow look great, they're really going to do something with him".
