Remember when it was a super big deal that he was going to be on Raw? I can't remember the last thing he did that was noteworthy(not memeworthy, he's done plenty of them.) Maybe I'm being harsh, but it just seems like out of any legend they roll out, he's the most husk of what he was.

This Thread gets a 4/10
Nattie is so disappointed, do you know that's her Uncle?
This is truly the worst Thread in FAN Proboards life...

Bret's my favorite wrestler, and I find that I enjoy his later re-appearances more than his earlier ones. He's always been a low-key guy, and it feels more like Bret to have him just show up and be like "Eh, what's going on?" rather than like all razzle dazzle ITS BRET HART! BRET HART'S GONNA BE ON RAW!

Bret can show up whenever he wants for whatever reason he wants....just as long as he says something hilarious.
So far he's fulfilling that quota. God bless ya, Hitman.

Unfortunately, the toll that life has taken on Bret makes that "Eh, what's going on?" less like "Hey, what's up? How's everyone doing?" and more like "No, seriously, what's going on? I don't know anymore. I can't even remember what I ate for lunch an hour ago!" Father Time has not been kind to Bret, and neither has WWE's insistence on being flash over all else. Bret making an appearance on a lower-key show like NXT might seem less jarring.

He's going to keep coming back until Tim White stops holding up that sign.

Father Time has not been kind to Bret I think the stroke he had did a lot of that too.

i dunno Bret "the Hitman" Sanhart didn;t look too bad. lasted longer against Sheamus than former WWE and ECW champ VInce McMahandow did last week against Khali.

I dont mind Bret, but im so sick of the Screwjob crap. They always find some way to mention it. The Screwjob is on the same level as Dx invading WcW, the horse is dead and decomposed stop beating it with the damn stick.

Father Time has not been kind to Bret I think the stroke he had did a lot of that too. And the concussion from Goldberg.

I have to agree to the extent that his appearances seem to have less to do with him being a big part of what's going on, and more of a "Let's just show everyone Vince and Bret are still cool with each other by randomly inserting him into this."

Maybe it's just me, but I don't think Bret's been shoved down our throats that much.
Last night was one of his better appearances. He got a great reaction in Canada, sounded good, said some nice things and got to throw a punch. He was my favorite as a kid so I'll always be happy to see him, especially after what he went through physically. Let's not forget what Bret said in that one promo against Vince-- that there was a time when he couldn't walk and he just sat around feeling sorry for himself. To see him on TV happy and healthy is cool.

Bret making an appearance on a lower-key show like NXT might seem less jarring. Even then he seemed a little out of place. Though he was standing close to Flair so that's not really fair.

He's awesome. I don't see why you'd find a problem with him OP. He's an actual REAL legend unlike the usual Hacksaw/IRS/Slaughter/DiBiase guys they keep bringing back.

DiBiase Sr. is definitely a "real" legend. He may not be as popular as Bret, but that was never his thing. He played one of the most hated characters in WWE's golden era and was by far one of their best contemporary wrestlers to boot.

I'm fine with Bret returning, in his defense he can't do much but at least looks like he cares when he goes out there. If his stroke never happened, and neither did the concussion, in all likelihood, his 2010 run would've been much better. People can't fault him for that.

Apart from some of his heel work in 1997 I have to say Bret is one of the most overrated of all time
Hell apart from his match with Austin at Mania name one amazing Bret Hart match. you can't can you?
He really isn't that good. Owen was the more entertaining of the Harts

He really isn't that good. Owen was the more entertaining of the Harts Why yes, I can name tons of amazing Bret Hart matches. Here's just a few off the top of my head: Vs. Perfect at Summerslam Vs. Perfect at King of the Ring Vs. Owen at Mania Vs. Owen at Summerslam Vs, Michaels at Survivor Series (92) Vs. Michaels at Survivor Series (97, people forget it was a great match with a crazy brawl to start) Vs. Michaels at Wrestlemania Vs. Bulldog at Summerslam Vs. Diesel at Royal Rumble Vs. Undertaker at Summerslam Vs. Piper at Wrestlemania The tag match at Canadian Stampede Most matches the Hart Foundation had with the Rougeaus and the British Bulldogs And that's just scratching the surface on great matches he had. You'd have an easier time naming major WWF matches Bret had that weren't good (like his Mania match with Backlund). I understand some people like him less than others, but to say he's only had ONE amazing match is downright absurd.
