It was a metaphor to say that in a small town, in front of a small crowd, they're not going balls out. WWE is no longer a ticket-driven business, it's TV-driven. And anyway, they have those people's money, already.
Sorry Kevin, didn't mean to diss your state or nothing...
I'll say Buttf***, Nowhere next time. Deal?

LOL. Great bait by WWE. Yeah now he has heat on those rest holds. Bullshit. This is just to create a illusion to give Orton more heat online and more sympathy for Reigns.
Are these reviews coming from fans or management? Because if it's on the fans its on both Orton and Reigns to give what the fans what. If Orton is using "crowd killing style" then Reigns needs to carry Orton so fans like me don't say sour on him in the ring.

Ambrose and Cesaro. Two wrestlers who have gotten over organically and who the crowd are BEGGING to support in a main event program. You guys already have two of them on the verge of stardom, yet you refuse to do anything about it. Instead, you insist on square-peg-round-holing Reigns like you did with Sheamus. But Vince and Dunn don't want to have oily buttsex with Ambrose.

Pillman never carried a company. C Dying puts a hamper on any upward movement on the card.

Pillman never carried a company. That doesn't mean he couldn't have.

He looks more like the "typical gay fantasy guy" than Reigns.

Rest Hold Randy sounds like a useless sidekick bumbling around in the next Lego movie.

It is interesting especially if he's kind of sandbagging the matches, which is really hard to tell I guess, I didn't see them. But I will bring someone up.
Colt Cabana said the best heel he ever wrestled was Shawn Spears (currently Tye Dillinger, so I'll call him that a lot here). Tye knew his role as a heel, and knew that he was there to get heat and get the baby face over, and that means bumping like a mad man among other things (though admittedly, I'm just a fan, I think people in wrestling would explain it better). So maybe that's the issue.
Slightly off topic, I really wish Tye Dillinger would be used more, especially as a heel because you could really use him to debut some of the newer incoming babyfaces against because of how good he is. Like, KENTA for instance. Tye Dillinger should be his first feud, or at least his first match because he seems to know how to get a baby face to be loved. Basically, Randy's role is to be the Shawn Spears to Roman's Colt Cabana, and it seems that the heat comes from him not doing that job. I feel they're using Tye as someone to attach Jason Jordan too so he could teach him more, while also being in developmental himself.

This is going to sound weird.
I hate Randy Orton very much. I feel he's one of the biggest drags in the company. His attitude towards things has always rubbed me the wrong way, I've never been impressed with him in the ring, and I've never understood the love he gets from fans and, especially, the front office.
I actually thought he was on point on Monday, though. The whole thing with him going bananas on Reigns was sold perfectly to me. His constant yelling "YOU STOLE FROM ME, BOY!!!" over and over made me think perfectly he had flipped his lid completely. I know a lot of people here and around the net thought it drug out too long, but I think it was perfect for what was needed. It was capped by Orton RKOing Reigns onto the table...which didn't even give. So what does a obviously stunned Randy do? He insanely jumps up and DOES IT AGAIN just to hit the right spot and still looks like he hurt himself doing it. BECAUSE!
Last week, Trips gained a lot of respect from me with his berating the cops arresting Steph, and then comically reconsidering going to her rescue because he had to still decide who would face Cena. Now this.
What is happening here?

I'm sorry, I can't believe this one.
Hasn't Orton been doing this for ABOUT TEN YEARS?
What's next, backstage heat on Cena for showing too much light while doing an STF?

Whatever, Randy Orton's one of the best wrestlers in the business. Roman's the one that is still trying to get it together. This is stupid.

This is complete nonsense. Rest holds are a heat magnet. My friend once counted seconds at RAW when Randy had a headlock in (like when you count a vertical suplex or spins or whatever), he got into the mid 20s at least. Orton laughed. The heels aren't supposed to have exciting movesets. I've never got this argument at all. Having the heels be intentionally boring to get heat is lazy writing. I've used this argument before and I'll use it again, other forms of entertainment manage to have heels who are entertaining and use cool moves (Vader using his Force Choke, numerous anime badguys with awesome special attacks such as Crocodile from One Piece for example) and don't resort to making them boring for the audience to want to see them lose. Heels should be interesting and should use cool moves. The audience wants to be entertained, they don't want to sit and watch a 30 second rest hold followed by a few punches and then another rest hold. Case in point, some wrestlers only managed to get over once they got away from the WWE's boring/"methodical" heel style and started wrestling in a more interesting way. Tensai for example, when he got a push WWE made him wrestle a slow, plodding, dull as dishwater style. Once he stopped getting a push, he became more fast-paced, fun to watch and as such people were interested in his matches. Same as Drew, when he was the chosen one he sucked. After his chosen one push, he developed a fun to watch style of his own so people actually started to care about him.
