Out of the home nations only Scotland have lost so far and that was away in Germany. I hope as many home nations qualify as possible would be an amazing Championship to see.

Crazy incident during Serbia vs Albania Someone flew an RC Drone over the pitch carrying a flag showing Kosovo in the shape of an Albanian flag Match had to be stopped when the players started fighting. Ugh... man, that got brutal. The Americans drew with Hondoras in last night's friendly, but I'm not happy with that.

I know the MLS wants to have a 24-team league by the end of the decade.
But, to be honest, I would prefer the MLS if it was built like this, including a few NASL imports:
Eastern Conference:
Atlantic Division: *New England Revolution *New York City FC *Red Bulls NY/NJ *Toronto FC *Philadelphia Union *DC United *Montreal Impact
Central Division: *Columbus Crew *Chicago Fire *Indy Eleven *Orlando City SC *Miami United *Sporting Kansas City *Atlanta Silverbacks FC
Western Conference:
Midwest Division: *FC Dallas *Colorado Rapids *Houston Dynamo *Real Salt Lake *Minnesota United *Oklahoma City FC *San Antonio Scorpions
Pacific Division: *Los Angeles Galaxy *Seattle Sounders FC *Portland Timbers *Vancouver Whitecaps FC *San Jose Earthquakes *Sacramento Republic FC *Los Angeles Aztecs (the team that'll replace the soon-to-be-defunct Chivas USA)

If the Rams were to lose their NFL team, I would be fine with them getting another team. (I hate Missouri though). Another issue that I have is the lack of Canadian teams. If we were to go to 28, I would like one more team in Canada.

If we were to go to 28, I would like one more team in Canada. My logic behind this is primarily utilizing expansion figures and confirmed targets, along with overall support in the secondary soccer league, the NASL. While having three Texas teams would be problematic to a degree, the Scorpions have one of the biggest fanbases in the league, which was also my suggestion with Minnesota & Indy. I threw in Sacramento from USL Pro since, like Indy, they have outright ran away with attendance figures and ticket sales in their league, meaning it would be worth checking them out. As far as Canada is concerned, a fourth Canadian franchise would be preferred by me (like in Calgary or Winnipeg), but there are plans of developing a Canada-only league that would include two NASL members, Ottawa Fury & FC Edmonton. Obviously, none of the MLS teams would join this league, but it would be something that would involve the rest of Canada's major markets and if any of them in this league would be successful, I think they should at least be considered for promotion. The only club I threw in because just cause was Oklahoma City FC (USL Pro/NASL), so if I had to swap them with the Canadian club, I would.

24 teams ? No promotion or relegation ? What's the point of that ?

24 teams ? No promotion or relegation ? What's the point of that ? That is a common topic, but personally, while I would like the concept of Pro/Reg, I'm not sure how it would work in the US. I know it'd be where the worst MLS teams would go to NASL and the best would come to the MLS.

24 teams ? No promotion or relegation ? What's the point of that ? 1.It's a US thing with playoffs and everything. 2.Promotion and Relegation is becoming more realistic, but teams in the NASL and USL Pro need to have certain standards with the stadiums. My local team in USL Pro is the Harrisburg City Islanders. The fanbase is very loyal but they play on a glorified high school field and it's not even a stadium. They have a proposal in place for a good small stadium but it needs to be improved.

24 teams ? No promotion or relegation ? What's the point of that ? I am not opposed to promotion and relegation. Alexei Lalas argues about this topic on ESPN during the USA/Honduras game. Down the road, US will pick up promotion/relegation. Right now? American soccer is not ready for it. We are still trying to solidify leagues, create stadiums, and the talent level is still being worked on. We just aren't ready for it yet.

America should have relegation
They should have to deal with the terror that the rest of the footballing world endures.

it's because the U.S. uses the franchise system, not a system for the usage of promotion and relegation, and doesn't motivate owners to upgrade their facilities

There are several other less developed leagues around the world that also impose certain stadium standards for clubs to potentially get promoted, but I've never really seen the big deal. In La Liga, Barcelona and their 100,000-capacity stadium can co-exist with Eibar and their 6,000-capacity stadium.

I think the loss of so many key players and their Manager will doom Southampton to the drop. See, I know what I'm talking about!

Being a Brightonian I have no sympathy for Poyet today but that score was astonishing. Arsenal need to sack their entire medical staff. The obscene amount of injuries we get is unacceptable. Poor result at home today.

I didn't think Southampton would go down but I also didn't expect them to be even better than last season!

I think your Medical Staff need a raise, with the amount of work they're doing recently. Liverpool's Medical Team is great, I don't think we've had a player injured tor us all season. They're too busy getting injured whilst playing for their f***ing National teams.

Then they must be on commission or something to let all that happen to our players on a continual basis. Its not like its even the same players all the time (Walcott, Diaby, Rosicky & Gibbs aside!). Ramsey, Wilshere, Giroud, Ozil, Oxlade-Chamberlain & Koscielny all have had serious injury concerns in that last few years, not to mention the stupid injuries the likes of RVP & Nasri continually had. We never used to have this trouble!

Watching the highlights of the Southampton vs Sunderland game, Sunderland were absolutely shocking. Not taking anything away from Southampton's performance as they played great football but the opponents didn't even try. I don't like him as a pundit and he's not known for his fondness for Sunderland but everything Shearer said about them was spot on. Even watching the highlights I sat there and said Cattermole (I think it was him) didn't seem to give a f*** when he lost the ball and ran back to cover with all the urgency of a man on his way to eat a shit sandwich. You really have to feel for those fans who made that journey. In terms of distance between grounds, it's one of the longest you can do in the English Leagues and the team put on a performance like that. Wouldn't be surprised if the club refunded them as even Poyet admitted they were godawful.

I spent a whole day travelling to Old Trafford in 2011 to see Arsenal get thrashed 8-2 so I know how the Sunderland fans feel.
And I hope they are devastated because Arsenal play them next week. And we were shocking for most of the game yesterday. I agree we are just getting too many injuries and there must be some problem or some thing we are doing wrong in training that is leading to this happening.
