The steroid trials probably helped him get to the world title level but he was arguably the most over guy on the roster, despite what Vince wanted. The 1990s Daniel Bryan The more things change.... The more they get awesome? I loved Diesel.

Just a disclaimer so no one gets too pissed off: My opinions are pretty stupid and I apologize for you reading them (if you chose to do so). - I still love Hulk Hogan. I know what he's done backstage, but on screen he's one of the last reminders I have from a time when wrestling was fun and entertaining. I get as excited as a little kid every time 'Real American' hits. - I loathe/detest/hate/etc. Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. I don't think it was possible for the WWE to find two wrestling personalities I detest more and put them together. Lesnar is a big, stupid goof who has always been extremely overrated and Paul Heyman is a seedy piece of shit who's responsible for a highly overrated wrestling company. Speaking of which... - No sure how 'unpopular' it is, but I think ending the streak (certainly having Brock Lesnar do it) was one of the the worst things the WWE has ever done. agree with these. Stings debut isn't the only thing I tune in for but I do hope it happens

Summer Rae looks like a drag queen. Ditto on Summer Rae. Looks like a transgender person who started their puberty blockers too late. I'm not Summer Rae's biggest fan and her face looks kinda weird when she smiles, but I'm convinced that you two have never seen a real drag queen or a pre-op transgender in your lives. On topic: I'm still trying to find that ass that AJ Lee supposedly has. Nah, don't convince yourself of anything. I've seen PLENTY in clubs as well as people I know.

Nash is definitely an example of a guy where giving him the belt was perfectly fine, but they seemed to have not given much thought into what he'd do with it. Assignments like Mable were not helping matters.

The thread needs more poetry
Unpopular Opinions-A poem
That wrestler you love....well he's overrated and that internet hero needs to be more understated What makes others smile simply leaves you frustrated and what makes the crowd yawn 'stead leaves you elated
Roman Reigns is simply too much too soon Yet you pine for some new young buck to get a push to the moon Dean Ambrose is the next DB Unless you like him, in which case I want him off my TV
Your first kiss with a girl, was a push too soon The kid who bullied you at school needs a new entrance tune You only won at Street Fighter cos of favourable booking And the mid-card is the place for your mother's home cooking
The internet decides, the internet chooses To pour scorn of your grappling, wins or loses.

Putting PPVs on the network was a huge mistake, they would have gotten similar subscriber numbers if they had them on a week delay and would still have income from the PPV sales on top of that. Yeah, they did kinda open Pandora's Box on that one...

-Roman Reigns' "amazing potential" is the best example of an informed ability in wrestling right now. Even the people who think he's getting pushed too fast and too soon still parrot this. So mission accomplished, WWE. THANK YOU! I swear, I have yet to see this potential people talk about. He's big, he's related to the Rock, and he has two good looking moves out of a repertoire of about three. Roman Reigns has "amazing potential"? Really? Show me the Carfax.

I don't like Paige one bit.
She's barely mediocre as a wrestler, terrible talker and has the face of a thumb wars character.

Tamina didn't deserve the broad-based criticism she received for the poor match she had with Paige in the NXT Woman's Title Tournament.
Likewise, AJ didn't deserve the same criticism over the Battleground match against Paige.
It takes two people to put on a bad match barring EXCESSIVE terribleness. Neither of those matches had the Trish Stratus vs. Jackie Gayda factor to them. The internet was (and still is) just too keen on protecting Paige.

Vince McMahon is not a genius. He has made a career of failing upwards over and over again.
The only business he ever found success in was the one he fell into through sheer nepotism. He likes to say how he pulled himself up by his boot-straps and that "people shouldn't blame the circumstances they were born into" when he's the textbook definition of a person who was born on third base and thinks he hit a triple. The Body Building Federation, XFL, and runs at political office were all expensive, public failures. And the only reason he WAS a success at wrestling is because he went around putting everybody else out of business in ways that were blatantly illegal...but it was wrestling so nobody with any power to actually DO anything about it cared enough to do so.
Need proof? The one and only time somebody with more money and resources pulled the same trick on Vince, they almost put the company out of business. The only reason Ted Turner failed was because of managerial incompetence so staggering that entire BOOKS have been written around it.
The whole Attitude Era wasn't Vince McMahon's brainchild. It was the only thing that COULD happen once all their big names left the company and all their big *guys* were suddenly much smaller.

I'm finding myself massively indifferent to Rusev and am still living the Ryder Revolution.

I'm pretty certain the things said about Roman Reigns now are the exact same things we said about Goldberg back in 1997.

I'm pretty certain the things said about Roman Reigns now are the exact same things we said about Goldberg back in 1997. Even with the undefeated streak, Goldberg started at the bottom and was steadily pushed upward.

That is true. I actually wonder what Roman's career would be like if the Shield never happened. Would he go straight from Leakee to Roman Reigns like Rocky Maivia went to the Rock?

He used the name Roman Reigns in Full Sail NXT, so he'd probably just have a different gimmick. And I think Leakee went by the first name Roman until it got "Antonio Alexander Langston'd" from him.

Once the initial shock wore off, I didn't feel any kind of way about Undertaker's streak being broken.
I never had a problem with Bobby Lashley's voice.(thanks Dean Visk)
Sometime a boring match is just a boring match. Stop using physiology as a scapegoat for boring physical prattle.
Stardust's fingers scare the crap out of me because they are so fat.
I don't care if Cena turns heel or not. I just want WWE and WWE stan to stop chastising people who aren't Cena fans.
If a diva's looks don't tickle your fancy, find another way to describe her "ugliness". None of these chicks look like dudes.,,None
"Angles/storylines/pushes done to please the 'internet', always suck" Angles and storyline like this aren't done to please fans on the internet. They are done to punish fans on the internet. "We're going to give you what you want in the worst possible way to prove that you don't want it".
There's no such thing as all the sudden.

I'm pretty certain the things said about Roman Reigns now are the exact same things we said about Goldberg back in 1997. As someone who was part of the IWC community at the time, the biggest complaint about Goldberg was how easily he was defeating legends like Curt Hennig, etc. Even though Goldberg had that against him if you will, nobody could deny he was a freakish athlete with incredible displays of brute strength. Goldberg was Brock Lesnar before Brock Lesnar. Reigns is...pretty darned average thus far. Take away his looks and I don't know what he has over, say, Jack Swagger as a performer/in ring talent. He hasn't done much of anything to impress me in singles competition, while with Goldberg he was jack hammering 400+ pound guys and making it look easy.
